DO NOT BUY A DODGE TRUCK. EVERYBODY
I'VE TALKED TO IS HAVING PROBLEMS AND
DODGE DOES NOT STAND BEHIND WARRANTIES.
I've been to court 4 times with them
with warranty issues. They also like to
lie in court. This company has gone to
greed and manipulation. Vehicles also
made in Mexico. The company is a
German company. So think about it,
wish I had: Jobs to Mexico and profits
to Germany. Plus trying to screw
Americans on warranty problems.
This vehicle is awesome. Best truck
I've ever owned. When buying this
truck I looked at everything Ford,
Chevy, Toyota, and Nissan none even
came close for over all value and
features. The truck corners great, has
excellent power, and looks sharp. The
only time I can see needing more power
is for towing large trailers but I
bought a 4.7L, if you want to pull
something large buy a diesel and don't
complain about a gas engine being
underpowered and sucking up fuel.
Durability, smooth ride, all the
interior space, the looks, pretty much
love everything about this truck.
Fuel economy not terrible but still
needs some help. Seats could be a
little more comfortable (for those long
I bought this truck used in Nov 02. It
now has 22,000 miles on it. So far,
great truck at a great price. I bought
this primarily due to the safety crash
results so I could have peace of mind
carrying my kids around town. I have
taken it to Canada to fishing trips on
rough dirt and gravel roads with no
problems. It just keeps purring. I had
already replaced my brakes on my GMC at
this mileage point a couple of years
ago. My 5 STAR Dodge Service Dealer has
already given it the once over and so
far it hasn't cost me another dime
since I got it (I couldn't say that
about my Ford Explorer and GMC Sonoma
that I had in the past).
Leg Room (lots of it). Can haul my kids
in the back seat. Good Brake system and
safety crash test results.
This has been an excellent truck.
Problems: Computer crashed at about
3000 miles and everything in the truck
stopped working. Took the dealer 4 days
to get another computer installed. Got
the high end infinity sound system that
is horrible and a real waste of money.
Gas milage 12 in town 17 highway---not
good for a 2-wheel drive and a driver
that tries hard to get good MPG out of
I bought this truck for pleasure but to
work when it had to. So far it has
exceeded my expectations on every
level. I was always a Ford man but this
new Dodge has me looking to other
directions. Dodge has really outdone
4.7 litre V8 and interior
comfort.Automatic transmission, and the
auto dimming rearview mirror.
I think that the cab is so large that
the radio needs a little help from an
amplifier just to get the cab filled
with an adequate volume to satisfy a
cab full of passengers.
