2004 Dodge Neon SRT-4 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl Turbo 5M)

Well-rounded performance, period!
Handling is very good.
Brakes are excellent!
Vicious power!
Good-looking interior (except the door
Zero defects.
No squeaks or rattles on my car!
Only the Mach 1, WRX(& STI), and EVO
provide similar, but less "bang for the
buck". Then you need to move into the
$45,000 range to equal or surpass
performance. The Mustang Cobra is
around $38,000, but the stock handling
and brakes are no better (maybe worse).
Dodge does not advertise this car. Not
many on the road where I live.
Only "gear-heads" know about the car.
Therefore, strangely exclusive.

Best Features

If you don't like the viper seats, get the R/T seats with the side airbags (it's an option). The exhaust is fun! Not too loud on the highway in 4th or 5th gear. Practical - 4 doors, trunk, good gas mileage(considering the power). Limited slip (04 model) is a significant improvement

Worst Features

Upgrade the plastic on the doors. Short-throw shifter should be standard. Front and rear strut braces with bigger sway bars (it can be done for about $300). Refine the drive-train (i.e. remove clutch vibrations, better engine mounts, etc.)
