Driving to Mexico
By Mexico driver on

2006 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT 4dr Ext Minivan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)

I bought the car and left Detroit immediately, hoping there would be no issues which needed dealer attention. There were none. I enjoyed the drive to Mexico with it. It is so spacious. It has good pick up when passing. The seats are comfortable. I got excellent gas mileage on the highway, sometimes exceeding 28 mpg on the flat road conditions in Texas and Arizona.

Best Features

Stow and go seats are good. Power doors are convenient. The ventilation system is excellent.

Worst Features

The van has more roll than some others like the Honda. It took me a while to get used to this. The mileage I get in the city rarely reaches 15 mpg. Since I do mostly city driving, I would have reconsidered my purchase if I had known I would get no better mileage than this.
