We purchased our Dodge Grand Caravan in 11/04. We loved all of the features, especially the 6 disc DVD and stow n go. After the first year of ownership, we have had nothing but problems! Chrysler is purchasing our van back because of the lemon laws. We had so many things replaced (tie rods, sway bars, seats(cable broke), leak in the AC and AC replaced due to the recall. We are now looking at Sienna. It may cost us more but at least I won't spend a lot of time at the service center.

Bought it new with 16 miles. Now has 84,000. Love it! Stow n go is the best. Lots of room, rides smooth, and very comfortable. Only money we have put into it is for a faulty blinker switch. No other problems. Gets average of 20 mpg (which isn't bad for a van). Auto doors-great when hands are full-just a push of a button. Family is grown, so we are now selling it. Really hate to see it go, but going to something smaller for better gas mileage.

I was expecting our 4th child, so we need a van. By 38,000 miles we had put $2100 worth of work into our van. Some was "normal wear": brakes and 4 new tires. I have never had to put brakes and tires on a car before 50,000 miles. Usually closer to 75,000 for brakes. The front axle broke, the water pump cracked, the check engine light and the oil light repeatedly come on. It drinks oil like crazy. I have to replace about 3-4 quarts between oil changes (which we do every 3,000 miles). There are lots of "small" plastic items that have broken off inside of the van. I will not own a Dodge again.

Excellent vehicle. Fun to drive. Good ride and handling. I bought it new and have 40,000 trouble-free miles on it. I change the oil every 3000 miles, and it uses none between changes. Have taken several trips and get 26 mpg. Would buy another one but would also consider Toyota Sienna. Have added stripes, bug shield and driving lights to make it dressier.

I bought this van in 2009 with 38k miles. The only things I had to replace in 10 years is brakes tires and an o2 sensor. Keep upwith maintenance and the van wont let you down. I did a full brake job at 96 k. Uniroyal tiger paws are an excellent tires. I have no problem with hesitation or acceleration spend the extra money and use premium gas. This van hasnt let me down i plan to be its last owner. Gas mileage is ok but i knew that when i bought the van. Some newer caravan owners told me the wish the didnt get rid of their "egg" i love mine dark blue [dallas cowboys blue] privacy glass It's a great van
