Acceleration feels spirited even though the numbers don't reflect that. This engine seems to be improving with age. It feels smoother and quieter than previous versions. The best run was achieved with the traction control turned off, using a street start, and manually shifting the automatic using the AutoStick feature.
A very solid number for a passenger car, let alone a minivan. Most vehicles that brake that well are sport sedans. The ABS system was very quiet while in operation. Stability was good as well as pedal feel.
These numbers don't really give a clue as to how well this vehicle drives and handles. It is fabulous to drive and inspires confidence while going around corners. I never thought I'd be using those words when writing about a minivan. The steering and suspension work in unison with each other and feel matched to the each other's capabilities. The common top-heavy rollover feel you get with most high profile vehicles is not included with this one. The rear did move around a bit in the slalom, but it was very controllable. Neil G. Chirico
