Wonderful SUV
I have had my R/T for 10 years and it has 210,000 miles. Other than a new trans at 165,000, we have conducted normal required maintenance. Its been undercoated twice and has zero rust. We love this truck and it will never be part of the C.A.R.S (clunker) program. Let gas be $7 per gal, we will continue to drive it.
Overheating
What a pig. I like to buy cars and drive them forever. I had this Durango in the dealer for overheating problems no less than 5 times over the course of 1.5 yrs. (yes I am stubborn). New water pump, new radiator, new thermostat, new hoses... still overheats. Replaced sway bars and a few yrs later the front end squeeks again. Fast truck and fun to drive. But not reliable and terrible mileage (14-15 on the hwy doing avg 70-75). Hit a bump and you're airborne. You can do better.

Not A Good Choice, Or I Got A Bad One
Had to replace engine at 86,000 miles. This is due to an engine sludge problem Dodge doesn't want to talk about. The limited slip differential needed rebuilding at 91,000 miles. Any dealer would say these troubles are do the lack of maintanence, not true in my case. I'm done with DaimlerChrysler Croporation.
Piece of Junk!
When I first bought this SUV I loved it, then came all the problems. Last year I had to put new engine in. Now I'm having problems with the oxgyen sensors. I have gone through at least 2 of them already! I'm finding nothing but more and more problems. I do not recommend this SUV!!
Durango Review
My Durango has 55000 miles on it and I have already had many oil pressure problems. I will never own a Dodge again.
