Dealership Service Review
I wasn't particularly happy with the bed side manner of the service man who helped me. I bought this truck at this dealership over 3 years ago brand new. So I do have a bit of history as well as other Fords I purchased there in years past. He just seemed very rude and short when he called me concerning my truck. The actual service work was fine. But he read me a list of suggested items I should address and have you guys fix totaling $3500. When I tried to discuss these items with him he didn't really want to discuss it and constantly talked over and finally he said ok see you and hung up. When I arrived to pick up my truck he was not around to go over the items. One of the items listed was just a simple air filter. Now I know they didn't look at it because I just had it replaced less then 3 weeks ago. Other items I am sure they just assumed also because of my mileage. But I recently had those things serviced as well. I have no problem with suggestions due to mileage but don't list things without checking them. And the service man needs to take time with the customer. A $70,000 King Ranch I do want to keep it running well. I also was recently made aware that you do not have loaner cars anymore. But I was assured you had a shuttle. I was told 8:30 for the shuttle. By 9:30 I finally called someone to pick me up because there was no shuttle and no one had any idea where it was. Bottom line is in order to want Ford to service my vehicle in lieu of a private shop you need to make it more friendly for the customer and not make them feel like your just running cattle through. I was also quoted $230 for an install. When I got the bill it was $230 plus $20 Misc. charges? Really? I should have argued the point but I was ready to get out of there. Thank you -
