PA car inspection ripoff
Took my car to Cochran VW for PA inspection. The car passed emission test, but failed car inspection due supposed leaking rear shock absorber. Said it would be about $300 to replace one shock Suspicious, I took the car to three other repair shops...all said nothing is wrong with the shock. Took it back to Cochran. Had the entire car inspected again after relating their screw up and my finding they were trying to rip me off. Magically, found no leak in the shock absorber this time, but could not pass inspection again because of a wet valve cover gasket. With no visible leak or smoking, they wanted to repair the gasket. Again suspicious after the first ripoff attempt, had the car checked at another reliable source, and the wetness was actually from a small drip when putting oil in the oil cap that's on the valve cover. Alas,a double ripoff attempt. Reached out to Cochran, and got an email stating that their managers will get back to me. Never happened!!!!!!!!!! Complained....then got another email saying they did get back to me. Lied about that too!!
Had a sudden oil leak.
I backed my Mazda CX-5 out of the garage one day and noticed a puddle of oil under the engine. As the car only had 12,000 miles on it I was really concerned. I called Cochran that day and was able to get it in to get looked at the next morning. Even tho it was the Friday before Labor day, they were able to get it in and find out the issue. It was a failed oil drain plug gasket that gave out, and they replaced the part at no charge (As it should have been no charge), and I was on my way in less that an hour or so.

The selection of new vehicles is endless. The salesman was well informed and answered all questions. He was also polite and courteous. I would recommend #1 Cochran to any one interested in purchasing a new vehicle. It was a good experience and will return for my next new car.

I set my appointment online using there mobile interface website, while I was out of town. Which was very easy to use! My appointment was for my routine scheduled service. The staff was friendly and professional. My service was very fast, and the waiting area was very nice. My only advice would be to make the service schedule B be available when making appointments.

Good car-buying experience
We had a great experience buying a new Mazda 3. Our sales representative was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful throughout. Enjoyable car buying experience
I recently purchased a Mazda from #1 Cochran in Wexford. After visiting other dealerships and looking at other types of vehicles, I very pleased with the up front pricing of the car, the price set for my trade in, and the overall experience at the dealership. I was given a very detailed list of all costs and discounts before I left after the first visit and had a chance to do my own comparisons without any pressure. Buying this vehicle was an enjoyable experience thanks to everyone who was involved at the dealership. This is our family's second car from the same place and it will not be the last.
