Thank You Haley Toyota

BJ took care of me from beginning to end in this process. He helped me feel safe and secure while exploring my options and he went above and beyond to help me secure better financing. I really appreciate the effort he put in. Without it, I don’t believe I would have gotten a better deal on my first brand new vehicle. The vehicle is exactly what I had in mind when I came to him, and thanks to his work ethic and genuine care for his customers, it is now in my driveway. I would happily send any of my friends or family his way to help them attain their dream car.

Dealership Promised Car Feature That Did Not Exist

I purchased a new vehicle from Haley Toyota on February 5th, 2024, and I had a very poor experience. My sales agent was Allesha, who was inexperienced and clearly lacked training. I had a list of basic albeit important safety features which were requirements in my car search. Allesha recommended a car and assured me that every feature I wanted was on the far. The car felt right so I purchased it and drove it home. When I got home, I noticed one of the safety features I required wasn't working. I initially thought it was turned off so I messaged Allesha to ask how I could enable it. She then told me that she "misread" the spec sheet, and my car did NOT in fact have the safety feature. Perhaps she was truly negligent and misread the spec sheet; but I do wonder if anyone else have purchased a vehicle at Haley Toyota with the promise of a feature that happened to be missing. A car is a major financial commitment and all I got was "apologies for the inconvenience." It took quite a bit of pushing to escalate the situation. I was then connected to Ricky, a sales manager at Haley Toyota. Ricky initially told me that he could not compensate me for the feature I was missing. All I wanted was after-market parts installed so my vehicle has all the safety features I wanted. Ricky told me that compensation was off the table and escalating it further would be pointless. And so, I called Toyota's corporate office. A very nice lady took my complaint seriously and the very next day, I got a call from a manager at Haley Toyota informing me that I would get monetary compensation so I could install the feature myself. I am currently waiting on the check. I am glad Toyota's corporate offices put their customers first and helped me push this situation closer to a resolution. All in all, I spent many frustrating hours dealing with Haley Toyota's lack of competence and unwillingness to make things right (hint: it's all about the bottom line). I was told there was nothing they could do until I escalated all the way to corporate. It was an uphill battle to get any help whatsoever. I wonder if I am the only one who was promised ghost features in order to unethically make a sale at Haley Toyota. I hope my experience is a one-off situation and not a repeating theme at this dealership.

Took forever and total bill almost 1000 dollars

Took over 5 hours. Plus it was to be inspected and they found a nail in back tire. So a rejection sticker could be applied or buy set of tires from Haley Toyota. Ok but tires costed 811 not counting other charges. The 250 for maintenance contract was good for 15 inspection fee. Hahaha If that is your idea of a favor… The maintenance girl had nothing to do with the charges. She said she would save me some next time. How? Should have taken the rejection sticker and went to another garage and bought 4 tires and had them do inspection. It would have saved me a lot of money. Tires don’t have to be original equipment. And hire some people. Pay them enough that they stay.

I passed the multi point inspection but failed inspection days later performed by same facility for some odd reason. Highly disappointed would not recommend.

When I went to the body shop to see about replacing the right side mirror I was told that it would cost $575 and take 2 hours to install. I was called promptly and went in for my appointment. It took them 15 min to complete the work and the final cost was about $485---yes I am happy!

Why do you need a title?

I liked that I got appointment easily after a collision. I appreciated the shuttle ride home and back to dealership to pick up my car. Martha in the collision dept. was nice to deal with but still have no idea on details of work they will do and when they will do it. I think they have assignment from insurance but not sure. I'm grateful that you are working on the car in a timely way - much quicker that other places I've talked with this week. People I worked with were kind and listened to my needs and also to the insurance adjuster. There was confusion when I made service appt. about where to get collision repairs -- Merriman Rd or service ctr.

Fourth purchase

So I was in an accident with the Highlander I bought less than 2 years ago. I’m embarrassed to admit that because of the anxiety I experience as a result I couldn’t bring myself to continue to drive the vehicle. I contacted Chef Jeff immediately after the wreck as he sold me that vehicle and the two previous Tacomas I have purchased. Luckily there were a few coming in and he was able to reserve one he thought might be to my liking. Because I now live in a fair distance away, he helped me with pictures and information to prepare me before I drove the Highlander over to purchase a new one. This is unfortunately at a financial loss but he showed kindness and compassion to me understanding that this is for my peace of mind. As I was limited in time multiple people came together to help get me in and out quickly and make sure I was happy with my new vehicle. I will continue to bring my business to Haley and recommend the sales team.
