George Johnson salesman that know how to treat female customers

by Ladywithbeauty on 05/12/2016

I went to Toyota of Union City last Wednesday and was greeted by a salesman name George Johnson, he made me fill comfortable the way he greeted me as I walked in the dealership, by keeping eye contact with me and not staring at me from head to toe like one salesman at a dealership kept doing at a dealership I had went to earlier that day which cause me to not buy from that dealership, George answered all my questions that I had and took me on a test drive he did not try to pressure me at all. The buying experience at had at Toyota Of Union City with George and the other male salesman was a great experience and I will refer my daughters and girlfriends to George because he treated me like a lady should be treated when buying from a dealership which have majority male salesman working there, George was the great, so ladies go see George Johnson at Toyota of Union City he will be respectful to you and the dealership is a beautiful place.

Don't Waste Your Time - False Advertising

by iamn0angel on 04/07/2016

I was searching for a very specific model and color of Toyota Sienna (new 2015 Sienna L) that came with the lifetime powertrain warranty and last Sunday morning I found it for a great price on Edmunds.com at Toyota of Union City GA. The dealership was open on Sundays so my husband and I decided to start heading that way (we live 3.5 hours away) and I would call to confirm once they opened. When I called (about 30 minutes into the trip) I was assured by the customer service rep. that they were having great deals and I could likely get more money off that price. I explained our situation and she promised to have a salesman call back ASAP so that they could confirm the price. We received a call about 15 or 20 minutes later from the salesman and I asked him to confirm the price, that the van was in stock, and for details on the lifetime warranty that was advertised in the pics of the van. He promised to get all the info and call us right back - I told him we were driving that way, but did not want to come that far if we would not be able to get that exact van at the price advertised. 1 Hour later we still had not received a call and I had to call the CSR back. She said she would have the salesman call again ASAP. A few minutes later, she called back to let me know the paperwork was all ready and they had the van ready to go. I told her we were still waiting on the price and warranty information. She again said she would have salesman call us. He called a few minutes later and told us his best price was 28,250. I told him we had a price protection certificate from Edmunds.com for under 26,000. He said we must have the wrong dealership. I assured him we did not, as I got the address and phone number from the certificate itself. He put me on hold and then came back and said if I could produce the certificate, they would honor it. I then asked him again about the warranty and this time he informed me they have no lifetime warranty. I told him it was advertised in the picture of the van and he again told me I had the wrong dealership. I explained to him not only did the pic have a lifetime warranty advertised, but it also had the name of their dealership and their website address. Finally, he went to his website and admitted it was there but he didn't know why and there was nothing he could do about it because they didn't offer lifetime warranty. At this point, I told him to forget it. We were only 1.5 hours into the trip and I certainly wasn't going to drive another 2 hours for a price that we may or may not get, especially with the false advertising. Later, they sent me several emails saying I missed my appointment and I explained WHY and never heard anything back. Very upset we wasted 3 hours of our Sunday because of their false advertising. By the way, the pic that has the lifetime warranty, the name Toyota of Union City, and their web address is STILL posted. We have since bought a brand new 2016 Dodge from a local dealership (EXCELLENT buying experience) with a built-in DVD player and got it for about $10,000 less than we would have paid for the base model Sienna.

Ronald Steele is the best salesman ever!

by rwallace2526 on 03/25/2016

I bought a 2013 Toyota Camry 6 months ago from Ronald and I had a great experience. So I decided to go back to Toyota of Union City and I wanted to use Ronald again because of the great service from him before. This time around I had an even better experience with Ronald from the beginning to the end. Although it was a long process as usual with purchasing a vehicle Ronald was there every step of the way always coming to check on me to let me know what was going on. It was worth the wait for the red carpet treatment at the end for purchasing a new vehicle! I actually got a better deal with my new Camry as well. I would definitely return and would recommend Toyota of Union City for your next purchase. Ask for Ronald Steele you will not be disappointed.

No Pressure Salesman

by Richard920 on 02/23/2016

Me and my wife had no intentions on buying a new car, when we went to Toyota of Union City for a oil change for our 1999 Toyota Camry, while looking at the cars in the showroom,George Johnson approached us and started telling us about a 2016 Avalon he was very professional and knowledgeable, he took out on the lot we selected one and went on a test drive, he made us fill comfortable about the over all buying experience by not trying to pressure us into when we told him that we wanted to think about it. We called George back up two days later and went in and got the Avalon that we wanted he should us the numbers an we got the payment that we are happy with and a great no pressure salesman for life, if you by a car from Toyota of Union City and you are lucky enough to get George as your salesman then you will have a great buying experience, he is truly a no pressure salesman,as long as he is at that dealership he will be me and my family and friends salesman.

Pleasantly Suprised

by JoDemetria on 02/22/2016

This past Sunday I went to a few different dealerships, Toyota of Union City being one of them and by far one of my best experiences. I was immediatley greeted by a gentleman named Will Rhodes who is in the sales department. I was caught off guard that he wasn't pushy. Most Car sales people are like vultures but he was very patient, knew the vehicle well and was extremely helpful. Needless to say I didnt walk out with a car Sunday but I will be returning in the next week or two once I have my down Payment, And I've already referred two friends to see him.

Very dishonest mechanics here and service manager

by Slingshot21 on 08/31/2015

I will NEVER take my truck back to place...I purchased my Ram from this dealer a few months ago and with it came 3 complimentary oil changes and 3 tire rotations. I had the first complimentary serivce done and it wasnt until I was driving off the property when I realized the tire rotation wasnt done. I have rims on my truck and they never asked for the key. I looked at my paper work when I got home and couldn't believe they marked my service order that it was done. They even had markings on the brake and tire section as though they had inspected my brakes. How can you tell that my brake linining is in the green if you didnt even remove the tire? A little less than a week ago, I took my truck back for the second complimentary oil change and tire rotation. This time, I decided NOT to wash my truck so that if the tires werent rotated, I would know not just by them not asking for the key, but by the placement of the tires with the dirtiest rims...anyone who knows, knows that the front rims are always the dirtiest and if you totate my tires, those should end up on the back. Oil change complete, once again they never asked for the rim key. So, the first thing I asked was if the tires were rotated, I was told yes! I told them the tires werent rotated because no one ever asked for the key to get the rims off. The mechanic then suggested we look at the camera, I agreed, but the service manager said there wasnt time. I inspected my tires and saw that the dirty rims were still on the front and also, there no fingerprints anywhere on the rim to show they were even hand handled. The situation got heated and the service manager offered to rotate my tires "again", but at this point it was very obvious I was dealing with some dishonest people and I didnt want their hands on my truck ever again. When I left there, I couldnt help but wonder what other corners did they cut during my oil change. Although I left my information with the secretary, til this day, I have not heard one word from the head manager at this dealership, which really leaves an even worse bad taste with me. Of all the places I could have purchased a vehicle from I chose to give this place my business. HUGE MISTAKE. I will not be stepping foot in this dealership again. If they were so willing to lie to me, I can only imagine how much of this has gone on at this service department with unsuspecting customers who THINK they got good service.

doesn't get any better

If your looking for a wonderful sales team look no further than Toyota of Union City. That should be your first place of contact. Atlanta Toyota and Toyota of Newnan do not compare to the personal attention we received at Union City. Toyota of Newnan did not return phone calls and send requested information. Atlanta Toyota let us walk out the door without giving us a deal we were happy with. We went to Union City and bought a vehicle that evening. We arrived there at closing and were there until after 11 p.m. Their number one goal was to find the right vehicle, at the right price with a payment we could afford. Bought a double cab Tacoma for less than the other dealers quoted us on an access cab and included more options. In 2006 I originally went in to buy a Camry and came home with an Avalon. It was used but only three years old and was in immaculate condition and I am still in love with the car today. You will find that they will not let you walk out the door until they have exhausted all options available to you. I also found out that a friend of my daughters purchased a Scion with them two weeks previously. He originally went to Toyota of Newnan and they let him walk. He went to Union City and purchased a Scion. They found the vehicle with the color and options he wanted in another state and had the it shipped to Union City where they did the financing. He was also a first time car buyer. They are not pushy but will work with the customer until they have found the vehicle and financing the customer is satisfied with. They will go the extra mile and do the extra work. They were not interested in going home they were interested in making us a good deal. I cannot say enough about Key Inoma, Sales, Shawn Foster, Finance and Ed Green. Thank you guys so much.
