Repeat customer that will not go back

by UnhappyCustomer on 04/25/2019

I have bought several vehicles from Anderson Toyota and that is why I went back. I recently purchased a used vehicle and was told it was checked over from front to back. After a few weeks a belt had to be replaced, a day later a sensor had to be replaced, when it was taken in for the sensor we were told the brakes had to be replaced, this all happened before the first payment was due. This is completely unacceptable. My mistake was trusting what they told me. No worries, it will not happen again. The General Manager stated they would pay half of the sensor issue but I have yet to see that happen.

Chris Beto and Anderson Toyota - Winning Combo

by JMetz12 on 06/21/2016

I recently bought a Rava4 Limited at Anderson Toyota from Chris Beto and it was an outstanding experience. I was out of state for much of the transaction and Chris was great with email, phone and following up. He does not pressure you and respects your budget. He is likable and trustworthy and I feel he worked the best possible deal for me. I priced similar cars in surrounding states and Anderson did the best price. It was a win! I would recommend Anderson and Chris Beto to anyone looking into a Toyota or Lexus

Always Great Service

by CoramDeo378 on 12/17/2015

We have purchased 2 vehicles at Anderson Toyota: one in January 2015, and a second this month, December 2015. Danny has been an excellent salesman on both cars. He is very good about finding what we need and researches all possibilities until he finds the best options for us. Danny, as well as, the General Manager, give great personalized care. Anderson Toyota is my favorite place to buy any vehicle!

Happy Little Lady

by PRae on 07/06/2015

If you just want the bottom line if I was happy with my experience at Anderson Toyota ... the answer is YES! I was/am very happy and look forward to doing business with Danny Miethke again when my lease is up and making Anderson Toyota my new car dealership. If you want to hear my full story of their dedication and how they went above and beyond to make sure I and every customer is completely happy, then grab a cup of coffee and set back and relax while I share my experience. Who knows ... my story just might be very similar to yours and what you are looking for! It was that time! The time that most people dread, at least I know I do. CAR SHOPPING! I was in NO hurry and knew exactly what I wanted. Had to have AWD for our winter roads, and had to be big enough to load all my Tastefully Simple products and displays in for expo events, but yet able to seat 7-8 passengers for when we attend conferences both in and out of state, take the grand kids to the Fireside to see a play every now and then, or load up the dog and camping "stuff" to head up to Dells. My husband actually started the leg work for me and looked at Subaru and Nissan and found a Nissan Pathfinder, which he took me to look at. To make a long story short, I had to go back alone to sign the paperwork and pick up the vehicle, and after signing 3 different sets of papers, I walked out! It could have been miscommunication, or a misunderstanding, but I was NOT signing papers on the deal I thought I was signing on and at that point, they lost my business and my trust. Then I started to do my own research on line before even considering dealing with sales people again. I compared all brands of vehicles to my GMC Acadia, I had it narrowed down based on ground clearance, maximum cargo capacity, number of seating, and crash ratings. It basically came down to another Acadia, Chevy Traverse, or Buick Enclave, which were all equivalent in size. I ended up test driving the Traverse and picked out the "package" I felt I needed. My husband however wanted me to check out the Toyota Highlander. Even though I knew the cargo space was smaller, and at this point I had the Traverse all picked out, I did the good "wife thing" and humored him and we stopped together to look at Toyota. We were greeted by Danny Miethke in a very friendly and professional manner. He took the time to listen to my needs and wants and showed me the vehicle we came to look at. Then he politely recommended another vehicle for me to look at ... the Toyota Sienna van. A van! I'm not a soccer mom! I drive a SUV and I need AWD for the winter. (I had NO clue they make vans now with AWD!) We had a few minutes to take a look at them .... and for my Tastefully Simple business ... the Sienna was PERFECT! It had seating for 7 for our team and/or family trips, and when I had to load it for expos, I could fold the back seats down into the floor and had my choice to either remove the second row of seating entirely or fold them up and push them all the way to the front. It had a TON of room! 150.0 cu ft to be exact, compared to my 116 cu ft with the Acadia. This would be great! Fast forward ... we did not have time that night to test drive the vehicle due to a previous commitment, and with my husband's schedule, the rest of the dealings with Anderson Toyota and Danny were on my own. When I went back to test drive the vehicle, out of all the sales people I have dealt with over my adult life (6 cars later), he has been the only one to take some time to get to know me and not only understand my needs for a vehicle, but to also see past those needs and provide me with a car that had other attributes that I did not even know I would need or enjoy. At the time they did not have an AWD vehicle on the lot, and rather then just trying to get me into a "car" just to get me into one, Danny made sure I was going to be happy and informed me more cars would be arriving in 6 days. Now 6 days is a long time and a lot can happen. After all, when I came in to "look", I already walked away from one deal and had my mind made up that I was buying a Chevy. But Danny put his trust in me that I would be back, and I put my trust in him that he would do me right! I got the call 3 days later that my car had arrived, and was so excited, I cut our camping trip short to drive home to take a look. You see ... I did not "pick out" this car, I did not design it or order it, I let Danny know my wants and needs and put my trust in him that he would deliver! And he did! At no point during any of this did I ever feel pressured to buy. Danny made sure he knew the payments were where I would be comfortable, took his time explaining options of financing/buying or leasing, and worked with me to get me the best deal. Even after the deal was "done", Danny was great and took time to make sure I understood all the features on the car, even rode with me to practice backing into a parking place using the rear camera, and was happy to poise for a family portrait! I drove my new Toyota Sienna off the parking lot and straight home and parked it in the garage. But wait ... the story does not end there. That night I was wondering if I did the right thing! Not in buying the vehicle, but I choose to do a lease rather then financing to buy. You see, I have never owned a foreign car before, or even a van, so I thought leasing might be a good route to go "just in case" I was not happy. But then just had that unsettling feeling inside of me. I gave Danny a call and told him I wasn't sure I went the right route for me! Within no time, Doug Farley, a General Manager, gave me a call to answer any questions or concerns that I had regarding the lease and was even willing to set down with me a day later to go over everything with me face to face to make sure everything was OK. It has been a few days now and I have been driving the car to work, to the grocery store, running errands. And the only complaint I have .... is why I didn't do this sooner!! I LOVE the Sienna and I love how great Danny and the whole team was to work with .... Ken, Doug and Laura. Sure ... I don't know how it will be this winter, but one thing I do know ... if I have any issues or concerns, all I have to do is give Danny a call and he will be right there to assist me with whatever I need! Thank you again to everyone at Anderson Toyota ... and especially Danny Miethke! It was a great experience and a pleasure working with you! I am driving an AMAZING car that I fall more in love with everyday, and I can't wait to meet more of the staff and check the rest of the service out when I bring it back for Toyota's free 5,000 mile inspection! Stay tuned for that review to come!!! :-)

Toyota RAV4

by toyrav on 06/29/2015

My wife and I both drive older cars and were looking to purchase a new vehicle. We had researched the Honda CR-V online and wanted to test drive one. When we finally went to go out and shop, we accidentally drove into the Anderson Toyota dealer thinking it was Honda. We parked on the Lexus side and were greeted by salesperson Chris Beto who showed us the comparable RAV4. My wife and I left and ended up checking the Honda dealer next door as well as others. After a couple of weeks, we went back to Anderson and asked for Chris. He was busy and we ended up dealing with salesperson Andy Brouer until Chris was available. Out of all the salespeople we dealt with, these two guys were fantastic and they played a big part in us buying the RAV4 over the Honda. By the way, after a couple of days, my wife and I both love the RAV4. Thanks again Chris and Andy at Anderson Toyota in Loves Park, IL.

New Corolla

by kate6549 on 12/31/2014

Fair and honest. I was in a tight situation due to my credit and was able to trade in a truck that my payments were too high on. They actually lowered my payments by calling the bank and working things out. I'm now the owner of a new Corolla S Premium and couldn't be happier. Everyone I dealt with was nice and worked hard to answer all of my questions. I will be going back in the future for my next vehicle.

Dishonest

by nelson826 on 01/14/2014

Went to buy a 2013 Prius and was not told it was a 2012 until I went to sign the paper. They actually had the 2013 scratched out and wrote in 2012, which I believe is illegal. Total [non-permissible content removed], stay away from this dishonest dealer. Salesman was Luke N. and Mr H. is a inconsiderate [non-permissible content removed]!

Beware of this dealership

by engp7836 on 08/23/2012

Got a quote from them online as well as others nearby. Made a phone call to express the interest to purchase the auto from them since they are local as long as they could match the other guy's quote. Confirmed the price over the phone before walking in. However, they put a $1,000 more than what was agreed upon in the contract and told me that no way others would offer such a price upon which was agreed. Stood up and walked out of there. Was really upset because they lied to me and a totally waste of time

Buy Somewhere else

by j1805 on 08/01/2011

I have purchased two vehicles recently. Told Anderson that I was getting online quotes for the car. They quoted MSRP both times. I took a quote from another dealer in (as I walked past the sign that says "We will not be undersold") and presented it to the manager because I wanted to buy local. The Manager said he would not sell me that car for the other dealers quote. I would highly recommend this dealer if you have tons of money to blow and can't figure out how to spend it and want a low value on your trade. If you looking for a fair deal on a car look towards Dixon or Wisconsin.

Typical car dealer

by tjmjf on 08/24/2007

I bought a new 2001 Avalon from Anderson back in 2000, I had a quote from another dealership out of town for approximately 1500.00 less. Anderson told me that is as low as they would go, wanting to keep the business local I agreed to buy the car. This year my wife and I were negotiating for a new "07" or "08" with Anderson, I was given a discounted price, went to bring my "01" in to get it appraised, and they gave me a price which sounded ok, except that was going to be off the original MSRP not the price they quoted me. I had no such runaround with another dealership in Dixon ILL.
