Terrible Service

by mmarlow on 12/14/2018

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM OAK RIDGE NISSAN! I bought a BRAND NEW 2018 Nissan Rogue and not even 72 hours later the brakes malfunctioned and locked up on me (only 160 miles on the car) and they told me to keep driving it until the next day! Now I can't drive my BRAND NEW CAR for over a week because they had to order parts.. the car had 7 MILES on it when I drove it off the lot. I understand that they can’t control what happened to the car, but the situation could have been handled differently. I was given a rental that wasn’t even superior to the car I bought. They were horrible when it came to customer service. I was treated like I was scum (Brian). They would not replace my car, give me back my old car, void the loan or give me any incentives.. Finally, after multiple phone calls (that they did not answer or return) and 5 trips to the dealer later, I finally spoke to the GM and all he offered me was $600 for the "inconvenience" of not being able to drive my car that I just bought for over a week! Why would I pay for something that I can’t drive? Especially when I paid $35,000 for this car! Take your business elsewhere! They DO NOT care about their customers! One of the worst experiences ever!

Great experience at Oak Ridge Nissan

by scottygr on 12/01/2016

My wife and I purchased a 2016 Nissan Rogue at Oak Ridge Nissan. We shopped 2 other local dealers and also shopped online. We have purchased 4 new Nissans and this way our best experience ever. Rondel went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and didn't pressure us. He knew his product and we ended up going to the SV package getting us more equipment for just a little more money. When we arrived at the dealership Rondel had our new Rogue pulled up (clean) and ready to test drive. Bill helped us with financing and we went with 0% financing through Nissan. This was the best experience and we were out of the dealership in under an hour. Usually a 5 hour ordeal. I have found my new Nissan store. Great experience!

Horrible services

by Carguy1387 on 11/28/2016

On found a used highlander for sale and inquired about it. Talked to Josh Jackson told him out situation and how much the payoff was on our current car. He took all the information down said he would do all the "leg work" and call me back. A week goes by I hear nothing. I finally get an advertisement email from him with another person's name and email and I emailed him back and told him I wasn't ready to move forward with any deal as I don't know what they were going to offer me for my ca....indicating that i needed to know what they were going to offer me on my car. Another week passes...I hear nothing. I finally call Josh back and he said that the email he got indicated I wasn't interested in what???? The email had no information about your trade in.... he never called me back like he said he would to let me know what kind of deal we could make....horrible job. If that is what oak Ridge nissan is about I want nothing to do with them....sad as I have purchased 6 nissan in the past 3 yeats. Their lost. Don't go to this place.

STAY AWAY from Oak Ridge Nissan

by robertw6 on 02/15/2016

I saw a car that I liked advertised at this dealer with an Internet price of $23,500. When I went to the dealer and tried to get the advertised price they would not even come close. They play games. Had 2 people tell me I could buy the car for less than $24,000 or "mid $23,000, but after spending lots of time (2 days) looking at cars, the Sales Manager would not sell the car for less than about $26,000. What a rip-off. This dealership is NOT honest. Save money, save time and save yourself a terrible experience by buying your car from another dealer. These people should be sued for false advertising or fraud. Nissan corporate will hear about this.

Be Wary the Finance Guy

by Almost_Scammed on 10/21/2014

Finance guy tried to convince me that the extra service warranty was the actual car warranty. I didn't want any of the options on this very well crafted exhibit he showed me. He said " Ok, if you don't a warranty, that's up to you". When I walked into the main office to ask the GM about the document and asked what it had to do with the warranty on the car, the GM, my salesman and some other guy all said they had no idea. "That's the finance guy's thing", they all said. Finally one guy pointed to the least expensive option on the document and said "THAT's the regular warranty on the car". By the time I got back to the finance guy, I had the scam figured out and refused to pay for any of the "service warranty" options. Somehow the monthly payment on the car went down $40. Shame on them.

Unprofessional Sales Manager (Terrible Experience)

by MH37932 on 10/12/2013

I went to this dealership based on several friends recommendation that there sales staff was friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Wow was I surprised to find out that their sales manager has to be the the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. We arrived at the dealership for scheduled appointment at 5:45 pm. We met with the internet sales manager. He showed us several Nissan Altimas. After a test drive we decided on a 2013. My wife went to dinner with the kids in the car since they needed to appraise our car. (recommend by salesman). We started to negotiate the price on the car and the price they were willing to buy my car for. After several discussion around separating to two discussions the salesman didn't seem to understand. He ask me what I was willing to pay for the car. I told him and he went to show his manager. I heard his sales manager laughing down the hall. About 3 minutes later this sales manager came into the office. This guy stumble over every word he told me. The price changed at least 3 times. He told me I would never be able to buy a car for the price I offered. He might be right but you need to start negotiating somewhere. We were about $4500 off. I told him to look at his own website to see that the pricing online was only about $3500 difference. His facial expression was "you don't know what you talking about". After reviewing the website he probably should have said " I agree let's work out a deal". Nope, [non-permissible content removed] began to tell me that there was Special pricing, incentives, etc online that weren't offered on this car. He also told me that customers always pay full price with online deals. He wasn't even listening to the me. I told him that I don't know anybody that would pay full asking price. He told me that I had insulted his intelligence. As I began to say that we weren't going to agree on this car he told me that he needed his car back right now. I told him I would call my wife and he said I need it back right now in a very aggressive tone. My wife was only 3 minute away. As I waited the sales manager tried to lecture me. By the way this was a demo car and should have been cheaper than the cars online due to the mileage. Please don't waste your time with this dealership in Oak Ridge, TN.

Satisfied Customer

by eoster1 on 05/26/2013

After an extensive new car search, I narrowed it down to a Nissan Pathfinder. I searched extensively for the right vehicle for me and my family. I came across Oak Ridge Nissan. After reading the dealership reviews some good, some bad, I decided to give them a chance because they had the exact car I was interested in. I have bought and leased several vehicles over the years. Oak Ridge Nissan was by far the easiest dealership to deal with. Their online prices were well below market value. I dealt with Josh J. and Jared G. I called to make sure the vehicle was available and it was. We set an appointment. When I arrived the vehicle was pulled up front, ready to go. After an extensive test drive I decided that if the deal was right I would purchase this vehicle. Josh and Jared went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable through the sales process. Oak Ridge Nissan exceeded the value of my trade in and offered me a low interest rate of under 2%. I was in and out of the dealership in under 45min. Oak Ridge Nissan and their internet sales team not only had the lowest prices, a large selection, and excellent customer service. Thank you Josh and Jared. I will be back.

internet sales

by shocked7 on 05/05/2013

I was called back by a salesman whom I talked to about the promise of a free quote I had requested by internet (and was promised in writing on two web sites.) "Kelley" was accommodating and pleasant when I explained I was going to have to deal over the internet because of disabling medical conditions and that I had been promised a quote. However, when he gave me to someone named "Josh" he refused to give any quotes or do anything over the phone or internet (despite that they advertise they have an internet sales program) and was extremely rude and sarcastic, saying that I could not write him a check over the phone, so why should he give me a quote without my coming in. He was actually yelling at me and started accusing me of wanting a quote to take it to another dealer and then bring it back to get their price down, when I had no intention. I just cannot walk around a lot or drive a lot due to medical conditions, but cannot continue to be without any car. I have never been treated so badly when dealing with a car dealer! I hope that if you go there you do not encounter "Josh." I will be buying a new car with cash within one week, but I will never deal with this dealer again, and I hope you do not either! I am thinking about filing a charge of disability discrimination against this dealer, because I made that clear up front.

Used Vehicles

by bmccutch on 09/21/2010

I have been to many of used car dealerships and car lots. But this one took the cake! I had the worse experience at this dealership, and not at the point of sale. I was told about a 30 day or 1,000 mile store warranty, apparently that was a lie. I do not reccomend this dealership to anyone, because Nissan of Oak Ridge does not stand behind their word. On a 0-5 scale I would rate them a -5.

My fist buying experience about a year ago was great but the second was not

by johnnyo53 on 06/26/2010

Overall the sales staff were very pleasant and worked with us. However there were some problems with pricing compared to their online adds and similar vehicle pricing differnces with other dealers on like vehicles. The sales staff followed the General Managers directions on how to offer prices but when the diferences were of several thousand dollars I became very skeptical and wanted some explanation on how these prices applied to my buying a vehicle based on my credit. The General Manager Fred needs to get some people skills. He is very difficult to talk to when confronted with some real facts and numbers shown by other dealers for similar vehicles. I mean after all HE HAS TWO EARS AND ONE MOUTH AND NEEDS TO LISTEN TWICE AS MUCH INSTEAD OF TRYING TO SATISFY HIS EGO WHEN DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS. I suggest he get back in practice and not forget where he came from. I ended up with a vehicle that has some problems due to his refusal to conduct business in a proffessional manner. Stay away from him. Thank God for the sales staff he has to effectively sell vehicles !!!! Those guys are great!!!! I could go on but I suggest doing your homework pryor to going there. They do have a large inventory to satisfy a wide group of customers. Nhoj Rednartso
