Worst experience eve
First of all I have had a Altima since 2005, absolutely love it so when Nissan started their 5 yrs no interest promo I decided it was time for a new one. Picked out one I liked on the Fenton website which was a internet deal. First of all the color of the car on the Internet looked nothing like the one at the lot. They didn't have the color I wanted so I was to the point of settling for another. Then I find out in order to get the 0 financing you lose your rebates which isn't mentioned beforehand or on any of their advertisements of it. Then I'm told APR will be 2.99 then you get to financing and guess what..... It goes to 3.99 and I'm told the salesman don't know what they're talking about bc they don't know the financing part of the deal. I told him how misleading the whole thing was and how upset I was. Well he leaves and comes back and guess what,,,,, now he can do 2.99...At this point I'm done and just ready to leave but then Mike, some new actor, comes in and is pretty smug and rude from the beginning. He rudely asks what can he do to get me in the car and I said at this point your gonna have to give me a really smoking deal..... He rolled his eyes and made this expression of pure disgust! I was in awe! Really????? Once that happened I was done! Then I get to my car and have 2 guys follow me to my car and stand in front of the door so I can't even close it still trying to get me to come back in!!!! Worst experience ever trying to buy a car.
Fenton West - horrible experience
I was lied to and given the run around under the guise of resolving the problem. The financial agent, Ryan (who has had negative things reported about him on this site and others) charged me an additional $6000 in extended warranties. At three different times during the process I pointed to the sales sheet in front of me and asked him what is this? After I realized this was wrong, I drove to the dealership and was told it would be resolved. Three months later nothing has happened. I cannot get them to do any thing, and they won't return my calls. I have to physically go to the show room and have them page someone to me every time!
I've never been so disappointed and broadsided in my life!
Long story short as my whole story will not fit here. EVERYTHING went wrong. We bought two cars in two days and it has been a disaster since day two! I can't even fathom how these people stay in business! They are dishonest [non-permissible content removed]! They're so terrible and no one will give you the same story twice and good luck finding the truth. Worst of the story is when our first loan hit the bank the amount financed was incorrect. My husband saw a "for review" copy that had the correct finance amount on it. The finance guy Ryan, then asked for his electronic signature. They provided no additional paperwork to the agreement. Ryan then put my husband's electronic signature on a finance agreement for $1600 more than we agreed to! How terrible and dishonest! This is just part of a long long ongoing struggle with them! They tried a million ways to Sunday to justify this charge as something it wasn't. No one will help us and everyone we speak to provides a different account. We accused Ryan of illegal practices and the finance manager said "I wasn't there, I don't know what happened." Well look at the deal my husband signed and agreed to with the salesman. That's what went to finance and that's what hasn't been honored! STAY AWAY!
As the people on Duck Dynasty say "Happy, happy, happy"!
Since 1998 we have purchased two Frontier pickups, 3 Sentras, one Rouge and assisted my mother-in-law on her purchase of an Altima (all new), and my grandson with a used Ford pickup. All of my purchases have been great experiences and I will continue to buy my vehicles at Fenton West
We were looking to purchase a new car. Our experience at this dealership was awful. The staff is immature and unprofessional. A total turn off. The price quotes were insulting. The place was snaky. We are smart buyers who do our homework. Decided to buy from another Nissan dealership and had a great experience there. Got a great price on the car we wanted. Avoid Fenton West at all costs.
I bought a 2010 370z from Fenton Nissan West and the sales staff were nothing but helpful, polite, and attentive. They explained every part of the buying process as well as the car itself in detail. Not once did I feel like I was being pressured. This is the second time I have bought a new car from Fenton Nissan and will continue to buy from them because of their awesome customer service, their honesty, and their great prices.
DO NOT GO TO FENTON NISSAN WEST!!!
This place is the worst. Horrendous customer service. Rude, arrogant and bordering on abusive. They lie to lure you in, then when you get there, they try to gouge you on the price. I have never seen such dishonest, unscrupulous managers at any business I've ever dealt with. They led us to believe we could buy a car for around 12,000 cash. We had the cash and were looking at their used cars. They practically laughed us out of the office and wouldn't even discuss anything under 14,500. Now I know where used car dealers get their bad repuations.
They have the worst customer service EVER. If you call with a question or problem nobody can give you an answer or will they ever call you back. For two weeks I heard I'll call you back in a little bit and after waiting 24 hours every day I had to call them back. Its been over a week now and I am still waiting on a refund check from them. Make no mistake if I was about to die of thirst I wouldnt buy a bottle of water from them.
Great Place to Purchase a Nissan!
We purchased a used Nissan Quest and had a very good experience with Fenton Nissan West. Our sales associate, Allen Easter was friendly and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to work with him especially after experiencing some of the high pressure sales tactics employed by other dealerships. There is no high pressure here! Since we purchased a used vehicle, we asked for a detailed list of the inspection process and any repairs that had been done. Mr. Avery Hicks, the used car manager, gladly provided this and had no problem when my husband wanted to put the van up in the air to inspect it. The service department was helpful in answering all the questions my husband had - - - in fact, at one point, we had three mechanics working together to answer a specific question - - - that's what I call service! The sales negotiations were handled in a very professional manner with our questions receiving honest, straight forward answers. In purchasing this vehicle, we requested several additional, minor repairs be made, which they agreed to with no hesitation. We arrived at a bottom line price on the Quest which we felt was fair. The entire transaction was done in a single, relatively short meeting without the constant interruptions and "breaks" that other dealerships seem to feel they need in negotiating. The financing and warranty process was a breeze. Matthew Bieg assisted us and in our opinion, is the consummate professional. We were very impressed with this young gentleman. His explanation of the Nissan Warranty Progams was clear and concise with any questions answered without hesitation. He was able to secure financing for us which was a full 1.5% below the interest rate at which our bank had pre-approved us. Other options such as additional insurances were fully and clearly explained and priced. There was no guessing about the monthly payments - - - he broke them down into several options and then allowed us to choose the plan which fit our needs. Again, there was absolutly no pressure here; simply professionalism. We found Matthew to be friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. We certainly would recommend this dealership! Our thanks, gentlemen!
Beware of the Fianace Department
I am a first time car buyer, and I went by myself to purchase a Nissan Versa which was a huge mistake. I got screwed almost $2000, and there is nothing I can do about it. First, I would like to say that I agree with Saaketham about Dan Dorman, the car sales man, and I would recommend anyone to do their car shopping with Dan Dorman. I communicated with Dan via e-mail. Dan has lots of patience. There were two occasions when I made an appointment with him, but then I canceled. The third appointment I made with him, he still believed that I would show up, and I did. When I arrived, he had the car ready for me and he had all of the paper work done. Unfortunately, my friendly experience at Fenton Nissan West turned sour when I was introduced to Matthew Bieg, the finance guy. I figured I could trust him as much as I could trust Dan. So, I left the dealer ship with my contract and my new car. When I went home to read the contract, I found out that instead of financing $1000 for tt&l, he sold me life and disability insurance for $1000. He told me that my APR was 7% and it was 7.64%. When I came in the next business to complain to him about the insurance, he was rude, said that he was too busy to talk with me. Matt is a [violative content deleted]. He said that he could not cancel the insurance even though it clearly states in my contract that I can. I called the insurance agency and the insurance lady yelled at Matt and told him that he had to give me the cancellation papers, which he finally gave to me after I sat in the waiting room for 30 min. I was so mad that I decided to pay off my car. Well, Matt said that I cant because the papers were being processed and I can only make my first payment in 45 days when I receive the statement. That is a lie. I told him that it clearly states in my contract that I can pay off the loan at any time. I finally called the Nissan loan office and they said that the soonest I can pay it would be about a week, because that is how long it takes to process the papers. Overall, I spent about 3 hours in the finance waiting room. I was ignored by Matt and all his colleagues.
Awesome sales rep ... Dan Dorman
I wanted to test-drive the 2008 Altima coupe and a manual transmission sedan. Dan Dorman was the sales rep. He was, to say the least, awesome! He was more interested in showing me the car, and letting me drive it the way I wanted to test it, and didn't ask me to turn here or turn there, but just let me take the route I liked. He was knowledgeable about the cars he was selling, and I found him really pleasant and professional at the same time. I did make up my mind to buy that 6-speed manual trans 2007 Altima sedan I test-drove, but ... I made the mistake of test-driving an Infiniti G35 later that same day. That car's a beauty and is a beast to drive ... following the road perfectly, without swaying and is so silky smooth powerful .. the engine is ... that my list of "cars I'm considering" just emptied itself, and the G35 climbed to the top and only spot. If not for this G35, I'd most probably have bought the 2007 Altima sedan from Fenton West Nissan in OKC. He even drove me to the nearby Autozone and showed me (not a car-enthusiast and not too knowledgeable about engines yet) the Hayned Repair manual for 2002-2005 Camrys, so I could stop feeling dumb when the local mechanic/Toyota dealership service center tried to fleece me! ;--) Dan, if you read this, thanks a lot, and I'm sorry I won't be buying the Nissan from you, but its only because the Infiniti came in between me and the Altima. ;--( I'd definitely recommend Fenton Nissan West!
