Dealership Sales Review
The positives: I appreciated the sales reps willingness to work with me over the phone and by email. I am happy with the car and the deal. The negatives: The representatives kept me in the dealership for about 4 hours to fill out the paperwork for a lease that had already been negotiated over the phone. The car had been brought down and was ready maybe within an hour or so of me getting there. I got to the dealer at 2pm on a Tuesday, so its not like it was during busy hours after work or on a weekend. The place was mostly empty. The Dealer representatives made repeated errors to the same amount on the paperwork (the amount of my capital cost reduction for my lease), even after I corrected it the first time within the first 15 minutes I was there, each time prolonging the amount of time I had to stay. While waiting the Salesperson told me an inappropriate story within earshot of other customers and employees about how some of her family members are on vacation in Myrtle Beach and are mad at the hotel for not telling them it is Black Biker Week so now they wont leave the hotel. The salesperson also took a phone call that I could hear and discussed about the Myrtle Beach situation.
