Dealership Sales Review
Can you believe a dealer don't even honor a price they offer to customers on the same date? That is Princeton Volkswagen. They offered me a price in the morning, and I was too naive to believe that was the price for the date and told them I would come back if I couldn't find a better deal. I called them couple of hours later to confirm my deal with them. After my lunch, I went to them and was informed that the price has been raised by more than $1,000. Their excuse: they made a mistake about the price when the Volkswagen has changed the credit program. What credit program?!, the manager didn't even dare to come up to me and offered me an explanation but to push off to a so embarrased sales rep. Did they really make a mistake? Hah, the last thing you would think of that a dealer's manager would make a mistake is price. How come no other dealers has changed the price on the same model car? Shame on them to take advantage of the customer's call and their lie. Plus, they hate cash-for-clunkers programs (they accidentally told me when I did the test drive), they will discriminate you if you want to use CARS program and push you off by telling you it will take at least 2 weeks to take delivery of the new vehicle from the date you trade in your clunker.
