Buying a car at Milford Subaru was my best car buying experience ever. I’ve owned several Subaru s. They are great cars and I just love them. This time I was interested in a Crosstrek which I had never seen nor driven so I headed to Milford Subaru to check it out. At the dealership I was greeted by Vasiliy Popovich. I explained that I was interested in looking at a 2018 Crosstrek and comparing it with the 2018 Forester but that I was not ready to buy. He showed me both vehicles and I took each for a test drive. What I really liked was that Vasiliy treated me with courtesy and respect and there was no pressure to buy. A few days later I contacted Milford Subaru and several other dealerships via e-mail. I indicated that I wanted a firm price for a gray or silver 2018 Premium CVT Crosstrek with EyeSight and that I intended to buy that week. Milford Subaru did just that. Mark Fairbanks sent me a written quote, including the vin number, for an in stock Crosstrek configured as I asked. I was forced to go back and forth with the other dealerships to get a written quote which took several days. In the end Milford offered the vehicle at the best price. Unfortunately, by the time I called to accept their offer it had already been sold. I thought it was too good to be true and that maybe this was a typical bait and switch. Mark was off that day and I spoke with Jeff Diener the General Manage who had approved the original offer. As with Vasiliy and Mark, Jeff was friendly and great to deal with. He apologized that the car was no longer available and after a moments thought said that he had the same vehicle in another color with some dealer add ons but that he would honor the original price. I accepted his offer. We closed the deal the following day and I drove home in my brand new 2018 Premium Crosstrek. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Vasiliy, Mark and Jeff.
