I had a wonderful experience purchasing my vehicle through Westgate Mitsubishi. Rod was great to work with and had the vehicle ready for me when I arrived. He and the sales manager worked with my budget and helped me find the best finance option. The staff is very friendly and truly want to help you find exactly what you are looking for. I cane into purchase a vehicle with a pre approval. I was greeted my the salesman, Rod. He had the vehicle ready. Once I decided and we worked a deal. His care and demeanor put me at ease and the team went to work. Not only did I leave with my vehicle but they worked and found me a better rate and saved me money. They also treated my family like their family. Thank you.

Recently bought a used truck from here. Rod was the salesman and he was awesome. He got us the deal we wanted and then some. My only complaint about this place is they were slow at getting paperwork complete, so deal could be wrapped up.

Disrespectful and deceiving

Sales person was great. Sales manager I met with cared more about his looks than negotiating a deal. In fact there was no negotiating. I had knee surgery less than two weeks prior and was told I would get a great deal. This was not the case. Vehicle was ok, but priced too high, due to it obviously being repainted and still had dents and scratches all over it, they still wanted pristine condition price. I told them prior to coming in I demanded a better deal as the vehicles was over priced and was assured I would recieve one but that was not the case. I'm truly disgusted with this sales managers lack of professionalism.

Buyer Beware!

The dealership is pushing luxury cars, but the mentality, reliability and service is not different than the stereotypical cheap used car salesmen. They misrepresent the car, and once the car is out the door, do not rely on professionalism or ethics. The luxury car they sold, within 24 hours showed over due service ( they did not even check the oil nor changed it - the service from Mercedes for the type of service called was $980), had an electrical malfunction, found out the rear tiers at $500 each need replacement, has only one key (the spare key they promised, they changed their mind), hidden compartment latch broken ($650).... The response from the dealership: Sorry, we can't help you. That is what $50,000 bought me. Go somewhere else.

My husband and I have been car shopping for several weeks. It is a draining process and I hate spending all my free time searching. We have gone from car dealer lot to car dealer lot all over town with no luck. When we walked into Westgate Preowned Eric greeted us outside and was very happy to help us. He had knowledge of the vehicles we were looking at and gave us a brief tutorial on how they worked and were built. He made looking and test driving a pleasant experience. He took the time to listen to our needs and went out of his way to find us a vehicle. Working with Eric was such a breath of fresh air after searching for so long. I can't recommend him enough!!!

2016 Fiat 500X Trekking Plus

I worked with Nabil who helped me purchase a 2016 Fiat 500X. I was traveling from Charlotte (a three hour drive from Raleigh) and both he and Tommy the finance manager made the overall buying experience very streamlined in order to accommodate me with my time restraints. My wife and I purchased a 2015 Volvo from WestGate on 5-3-2017. We went there with an open mind (we’ve been buying only Toyota) about the make of the vehicle but wanted certain features. Danielle, our sales person, was patience, accommodating, not pushy and very professional. She ensured we got what we were looking for. The sales manager, Mr. Williams, and finance manager, provided a smooth and expedient processing of sales transaction. In addition, they held true to their word and took care of us after the sale, by providing the services promise in regards to minor exterior defects, a job well done, by Alex and the crew at their collision and detail facility. I just purchased my second vehicle from a Westgate dealer. My first was back in 2013 and I had an amazing, no hassle experience. I just financed my first car during my second purchase from Westgate. The staff was extremely friendly and took the time to make sure I was leaving in the vehicle I wanted with the price I wanted. Although I don't plan to purchase another vehicle for a while. I will always recommend Westgate and will plan to purchase my future vehicles from them.

Recently needed to purchase a new vehicle after mine broke down! Started shopping online and found the perfect truck at Westgate at a great price! A friend of mine highly recommended them after he had purchased several cars from them in the past and mentioned how helpful they were! Well the deal worked out and I am highly satisfied! Great service and great experience

I had a VW TDI Jetta and was on a time crunch to find a new car to replace it before I had to turn my car in. I found a VW Passat on cars.com and was very interested. After reading a few reviews, I was hesitant but decided to give Westgate a try to see if the reviews would be reflective of my experience. A lot of the reviews were mainly about customer service and how they didn't have a great experience at the dealership. Obviously that it a very important thing to excel at when you are selling anything or providing a service. Darryl at Westgate went above and beyond to make sure my experience went well. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle that I was interested in and was very patient with the questions I had and also was honest and upfront about how the process works and what I could expect. A lot of people are quick to tell you exactly what you want to hear, but Darryl made sure I was informed so to not promise me anything they couldn't deliver. The entire staff at Westgate were friendly and welcoming and made sure to take care of me. I can't express enough how great my experience was and encourage you to give them a try. Everyone's experience is a little different and sometimes people can get so nit-picky on certain things. Had I based an assumption of how the dealership was based on reviews, I would have missed out on a great car and great opportunity.

I had the pleasure of working with Jacques Michel during my visit at Westgate preowned. I had passed this dealership many times in Raleigh and had not considered them in my initial car buying research. After finding them on the USAA's list of preferred dealers, I was impressed by their inventory, the ease of doing business with them and the professional, yet polite and knowledgeable staff. I already knew what I wanted to see/drive and Jacques ensured I knew all the features and helped me review the car, before making my final decision. He kept me well informed of what was happening behind the scenes to ensure my time was not wasted. Thank you for a great experience and making car buying a pleasure, instead of a pain. True Used Car Sales experience

Car I had come to see was up on the rack being repaired. I went with son - his first car- he was VERY excited. They told me Monday would be soonest I could test drive. I told them I'd be there. Would I like to put down a $500 non-refundable deposit to hold it? No, not until I test drove it. After an agreement with handshake, I said I'd see them Monday afternoon. I mention the handshake because the manager specifically said "Now we've shaken hands - so we're good right?" They sold the car. Their response when noticed I was IRATE - "we gave you the opportunity to put down the $500 nonrefundable deposit." - Without driving the car, why would I put down a deposit of any kind that is non-refundable? No honor. This is how they treat a disabled retired vet! People gasped and said you really had a bad experience at a used car dealer - shock!

I had too many issues with Westgate to list. Please do not buy anything from this dealer. Another customer in the dealership telling people not to buy from Westgate. I had given a deposit already and they wouldn't give it back. Not for the customer.

Dylan - Low Stress, Honest, Willing

I went to help my girlfriend purchase a vehicle. We went to Leith Honda first, where a salesman named Sam was an absolute jerk...different review on that to come. Anyway, Dylan was the salesman assigned to us when we walked in. He's a young dude, and just hired at Westgate. We didn't know exactly what to buy, and he was very patient/helpful with that. Like I said, he was brand new to the dealership, so he did need to seek help with difficult questions...but I found that pleasant as he was always so willing to do so without frustration. He did a great job communicating all the way through, and made sure our business was appreciated. Would absolutely recommend him, and plan to check up with him in the future. All the folks at Westgate were cool, and the managers are very knowledgeable about the financing process for internationals...if that matters to anyone.
