Worst dealership ever

by Leonel on 08/13/2021

This dealership is totally a mess and dishonest , They advertise online give you $1000 rebate plus $2000 dealership discount I got none of that stuff except $500 rebate also advertise full fuel tank, I when I left the dealership I almost run out of fuel on the highway headed home, I thought the car was a four-cylinder instead is a three cylinder they never explain to me none of that stuff the car is a slow as hell my grandmother can walk faster than this car, I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to my worst enemy they are dishonest and unprofessional truly disappointment, I purchased two cars from this dealership the previous sales person was OK but this new people working there! are terrible, For $18,000 car , better off purchasing Nissan kia with more power and better deals, don’t do business with this dealership, they are [non-permissible content removed]

False advertising/no masks/$3000 extra fees not including tax

by Drove from Tampa on 12/10/2020

Car advertised for just over 7000. Salesman comes back with a $900 dealer fee. Ok, sometimes you can’t win on those. Then he says there’s a $1900 warranty fee. I said no thank you because the car is still under a 5 year factory warranty. Why would I buy a double warranty. He then changes the fee to a used car refurbishing fee. Yet the car hasn’t been refurbished. It literally had a pile of sand on the front passenger floor. Hadn’t even been vacuumed. Two rear tiles needed replacing, the tint in the rear window had about 100 bubbles on it and needed to be replaced. And it had oxidized paint on the spoiler and a ding on the left rear side. Nothing was refurbished or even cleaned. It was advertised as almost 3k below value so I figured it was because of the issues. But I was informed the sale price was just used for good advertising. Tacking on almost 3k in fees alone is insane. And for bogus fees. So $7200 was now $11700 out the door which placed the car way over its market value. Also none of the sales people were wearing masks. I had to ask them to wear it as my uncle is 74 and diabetic. At first the sales guy said he doesn’t wear it outside because he’s claustrophobic so he didn’t put it on talking three feet from my uncle and sniffling. He said his sniffling was because it was cold outside. He worse it inside. And then I had to ask his Mgr to put one on. Horrible. Seriously a waste of our time, a useless ding on credit and an unsafe work environment during a pandemic. Safe yourself the disappointment and pass on Jenkins Mitsubishi in Lakeland.

Shady dealership

by joshua74 on 12/26/2016

Went here recently just to check out a car I was interested in and test drive it. Brian, the salesmen, was a decent guy who seemed somewhat transparent and not overly shady. I had no intention of buying this car, but I thought, "hey, i'll see what they give me on my trade in and maybe I'll consider it." They offered me an offensive trade-in value which was well below the actual value. This is when things went downhill. I was ready to leave and then Freddie "shady" Knight (I guess the sales manager? pretty pathetic) came to sales floor and attempted to explain to me with his first grader logic that this was a good trade-in value. He adjusted the trade-in value(still bad value), and tried to act like a good guy (sorry Freddie, people can easily see through your shade). They ran my credit and everything anyway to see what interest rate would be and yada yada. The interest rate they gave me was so bogus that you'd have to be a obsessed with the idea of having a new car to accept it. Again, Freddie "shady" Knight and his sad finance guy who doesn't know basic algebra tried to convince me this was a great deal (sorry guys, I was a college math tutor and am college educated). I wasted my time here at this sketchy Mitsubishi but it was a lesson learned. For unaware people considering this dealership, I suggest going somewhere else to deal with a professional. On the other hand, if you want to hear sad elementary school explanations from Freddie "shady" Knight (could be a better job about being less openly shady) on why he should be able to rip you off this is the place for you.
