Dealership Service Review
Thursday, 01/04/2024 The purpose of any business review should be to point out stark deficiencies and/or spectacular accomplishments in their modus operandi, to see if any improvements are possible, compliment their performance, etc., this main objective is well known by every customer who writes one, I assume. And so, with that premise in mind my first and foremost goal is to clearly post here the extremely high level of service department’s acumen noticed while involved in the achievement of the solution to my possible P1326 scanner error code-related engine failure and subsequent replacement by their knowledgeable mechanics and ancillary staff members. This means essentially, that the motor will eventually vibrate excessively as it rotates causing its overall lack of reliability by seizing and dying (no expert here but this is what I have been able to gather thus far). The problem on this 2017 KIA Optima LX w/approx. 45K driven miles really became apparent when coming back from MSP and just passing the Pine Island exit on USH 52 south on the way to Rochester, Minnesota, USA, the car hesitated and maintained an RPM / Speed of around 2000 /62 MPH, thus having engaged the “limp home mode” whereby the manufacturer eliminates the chance of something catastrophic happening (see above) while still managing to maintain the vehicle in limited operation. Of course, and as indicated above, this wide-ranging problem was dealt with the utmost care and attention to detail in terms of a prompt and complete reassurance that everything was covered by warranty and it was a simple matter of accurately ordering a new motor, getting a complimentary rental (2023 KIA Sorento) via an assigned driver’s agreement, and patiently waiting for the repairs to finish, which only took less than 04 weeks (could have been 02 weeks earlier due to undetected communications problems). Now, during this time there was not a single instance when the type and level of service experienced—from both business and personal standpoints—was less than customary and totally friendly, even to the point that every time I am their customer, I just want to get a job there (I have had one already a few years back). So, all in all, looking forward to my next appointment, checking their new / used car offers via their well-laid out website, etc. Ladies and Gentlemen, everything well done and thank you very much for the newly-reinstalled, fine power plant! Your dedication is surely well appreciated…
