Exceptionaly poor service and missed priced quotes

Very bad pricing experience. I called and received a quote for an Aux Battery replacement at the house (under $200.00-same price as on the internet). My wife brought the car in to the shop and was told the cost was over or about $300.00. This is the last time I will use MB Alexandria as I have noticed that their service Depatments has gone downhill this past few years. This last incident was the last straw.

Don't do business here!

Especially with a sales guy named Troy Sergenton, don't deal with him. He looks down on the vehicle that i plan to trade in and he said "its unfortunately a Hyundai". So? it's 2021, take out all the badges and branded logo, and see who will win in people's eyes?

I saw their listing for a GLC 2018 for $30,000 - which is a very good price for this car. When I called them to see the vehicle, the salesman (who refused to introduce himself!) laughed at me and told me that I am crazy if I think they will sell me this car for that price. Instead, he demanded $38,000!!!! When I pointed out their own ad in CarGurus, he laughed at me again and hung up. When I drove up there demanding apologies and explanations, the manager refused to apologize and threatened me with police if I don't leave. They know that their cars are waaaay overpriced and waaaaay bad - that's why they make fake listings - to lure you in and to sell you a much more expensive, worse-quality clunker. Do not trust [non-permissible content removed]! Do not buy their cars - you will regret it!

Best car buying experience with Carlo at MB Alexandria

I bought my ML350 from Carlo Genao at Mercedes Benz of Alexandria. This was the best car buying experience I ever had! Since it was a large and important purchase, I took my time in researching the vehicle, options, pricing, and dealership. In all the phases of my research, Carlo consistently impressed me and beat all the other dealership. He's patient, knowledgeable, kind and gave you personal attention as a friend. I didn't feel any pressure at all. He helped me fully explore the vehicle, try out various of configurations, and gave hint to many features that's not obvious but useful. Carlo knew how different people like to purchase their car differently, and he accommodated my way with a eager and sincerity to help. I felt I was in charge, and was treated fairly, honestly and with high respect. And best of all, Carlo matched the best price I could find. It was a frankly a no-brainer to purchase my custom build ML from him. After a quick enough wait, Carlo delivered the car to me in a privately kept garage. When I first saw it, I was totally awed by what a marvellous car it turned out to be. And the fact it was purchased along with such a enjoyable experience make it even more special and wonderful! Thank you Carlo, you are simply the best! And I will full heartedly recommend Carlo to anyone who's interested in a Mercedes. You need to try it to believe it, and you will find all the surprises, nice ones.

Wow, what an experience! John P. and Michael R. did a wonderful job on my CLS550, quoted me right, treated me right, fixed the car and made me feel like I was family! John and Michael need to be promoted in MB of Alexandria to higher positions.

Kudos for Outstanding Service

When we took our new Mercedes-Benz E-550 to the dealer for an atypical problem, the service manager, John P., spent more than an hour with us, driving the car and really listening to our concerns. During this time, Mr. P. also explained and demonstrated some of the car's special features we had not fully understood and used. He could not have been more helpful or eager to resolve our concerns. Then the technical staff found the clamp on the axle boot was missing. The dealer did not just replace the clamp, but ordered parts and replaced the entire axle shaft, stating they wanted to do a "through" repair. Being senior citizens, who have owned numerous, luxury cars of various brands, we have never encountered better or more comprehensive service. Great and knowledgeable service advisor

I took my 2005 Mercedes E class for service there and I was very pleased. They provide you with a free loaner for two days. My car wasn't ready on time and they even picked up the additional days of rental and upgraded to a shiny new Mercedes C250 for just $15 a day. I highly recommend.

Great Service and Attention to Customer Service

I have been going MBA for over 8 years now and have to say my last service experience was the best. The Staff made all the difference made me feel special and cared for. John the service manager follow up and insistence in making sure I was satisfied made it a 5 star experience.

I took my car for my annual maintenance for the second time and as I expected received a speedy and excellent service from knowledgeable professionals. I even received free estimated for some body work that is not included in my annual maintenance. While my car was in service, I was given a free rental car. The staff is very friendly and professional. I highly recommend the service from this dealer.

Stranded Saviors

My battery died late at night and I had to get it towed immediately, as I was off of 395. They performed the service the next day and had my car ready to go by the time I had an 11:00 early lunch meeting. It was awesome, everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, and really seemed to care about getting me out of there in a timely manner. I definitely appreciate the service and the speed.

I've been here several times now and each time has been great. The service people are very polite and knowledgable with what they do. Lastly, the waiting area has a great selection of free coffee, bottled water, tv, and even a computer center to make waiting bearable.

I have been extremely pleased and satisfied with the service that I have received from Mercedes Benz of Alexandria. I have been a customer for over 10 years. Scheduling appointments are quick and easy. When I arrive, I am greeted by name and my paperwork is always ready and in order. My service advisor, Rick Savanh contacts me to let me know the status of my service and if anything else was found that needs to be repaired. He always gives me an honest and complete evaluation of my vehicle. Rick just like all of the employees are always helpful, courteous, and very professional. I highly recommend Mercedes Benz of Alexandria for all of your service and dealership needs.

I highly recommend Mercedes-Benz of Alexandria to anyone with a Mercedes-Benz in need of service or repair. I have serviced 4 Mercedes vehicles here with 3 different service advisors - Horst, Rick and Ashley - and each has proven to be both friendly and professional. The work has been performed promptly and for a reasonable price. Not so keen on the loaner cars, but I understand more Mercedes vehicles will become available. I like the new building improvements and the customer lounge has computers with internet access, as well as tv, magazines, coffee, cold drinks and snacks. Your Mercedes will be in good hands, whether a new AMG model, or an older classic model with over 200,000 miles on it. A nice place to do business and free shuttle service to the metro.

Excellent Mercedes Service Center

I have an older Mercedes-Benz C-Class and it is out of warranty, so I am carefull where I take it. My service advisor, Rick Savanh has been great. He tells me what has to be done and what can wait, and he keeps me informed what's happening while the car is in for service. I get a free loaner car and they have a nice new customer lounge with tv, coffee and free computers with internet service. I love this place.

they kept my 30 days but it was worth it

It took 30 days and a service advisor who yield at me to end my relationship with Mercedes benz of alexandria. it all started when my car was held at the dealership for 30 days. I gave them my SLK 320 because it was overheating and i ended up paying about $3000 for a cooling system repairs + a control monitor change. It took them 30 days, couple of wrong part ordered and bad diagnostic to have my car repaired. First time they said they repaired the car and gave it to me; the same night after i picked it up, I saw smoke coming off my engine. I returned it right away. The second appointment they held the car for 3 weeks because they could not figure out how to fix my overheating problem. I had to cancel all my trips because i was given a loaner that i could drive only around Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. About a month and a half ago, i received a request to complete a survey from Mercedes Benz USA about the repair of my SLK 320 at MB Alexandria. Guess what ? I told them exactly what i just said here Today for the first time since they finally repaired my vehicle, i go to MB Alexandria to have My Cigarette Lighter repaired. I was referred to the same service advisor who repaired my car; which started yelling at me in front of everybody in the dealership because I wrote an honest Survey review about the poor pricey repair service they gave to my car and the inconvenience I experienced for 30 days. Then, I asked the same advisor if he could check my cigarette lighter and he denied me service. Every body at the dealership saw what was happening, heard how the service advisor yield at me, and nobody even tried to help me. They all watched me leave the dealership

AMAZED

AMAZED (In a very good way)!!! I recently purchased a car at MB of Alexandria and had a mechanical issue that was not covered under the warranty. After hearing of my issue the client service manager contacted me to evaluate my issue and asked if there was anything that he could do to assist me. He was very empathetic to my situation and was very diligent in resolving the issue. He follow up almost daily until everything was corrected. He turn a potential unpleasant experience to a positively memorable experience. His assistance alone changed my entire mindset of Mercedes Benz. He took customer service to another level. I only have positive things to say regarding the customer service I received at MB of Alexandria!

Amazing experience

We spoke to Carlo Genao. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. The customer service he delivered was impeccable. Purchasing a car through Carlo and working with the staff made purchasing easy. This has been the greatest car purchasing experience. Carlo, staff are the gold standard in putting the customer first. I will come back to purchase my next vehicle from Carlo and recommend him to anyone who is in the market for a Mercedes Benz. Carlo even called the next morning to answer any questions we had about the vehicle. Amazing experience and thanks to Carlo and the staff at Mercedes Benz of Alexandria!!!!
