Our sales rep great us kindly as soon as we walked in. Not only available but also very attentive at our needs and personality. He provided all that we needed to make the best choice: detailed information about the vehicles, choice of new and pre-owned, model differences, test drive different categories, brochures and more. He didn't push us as we needed some time to digest all that on our own. He was there when we took our decision and helped a lot wrapping up the deal.

Offended by the salesman

I am utterly shocked at the service I received during my unfortunately brief visit. I came in because I wanted to look at the Discovery Sport after having seen it at an auto show. I looked outside at a few cars, and then soon after I entered the showroom, a salesman greeted me with "Do you have any questions," to which I politely answered, "Not yet." He immediately blurted out, "Will you have any questions? Did you bring your check book? Are you going to buy a car? Will I get rich?" This took me entirely by surprise, and I stood there figuring out how I ought to reply and wondering if he was going to follow up by saying it was a joke or something. Before I had a chance to, he continued, "I guess not" and walked away. I tried not to think about it and considered speaking with another representative but in the end decided not to and left after a few more minutes of looking. I just took a look at their website, and the person who shocked me was Andy Harris.

First off, I am a new owner and called Land Rover San Francisco, San Jose and Redwood City. I decided to go with Land Rover Redwood City because I spoke with Roger who was the only one that was very courteous, patient and accommodating. Brought my car in that same day for the first time and received excellent customer service from both Kevin and Roger. My Rover was repaired and I was very satisfied with the quality of work. I will be using Land Rover Redwood City going forward!

My first

I have a 2013 LR4. Had a dead battery and needed to be jump started. So decided to get off work early last friday to go to Land Rover Redwood City hoping that i can still make it before the service dept closes. Arrived at around 4:00 only to find out that the tech almost done for the day and that already too late to get have my car worked on. Kevin didn't want me to be disappointed and to drive all the way back and come back Monday, he signed me up and gave me a loaner. So my car can be worked on first thing Monday am since the techs were already done that day. Excellent customer service. Now i know why Redwood city has good reviews compared to other dealers here in the bay area. Glad i went to the right place.

Andy was a very helpful, very knowledgeable, very polite, low pressure salesman. When looking on his computer for available cars, he turned the screen towards me so I could look at the same time. Nice touch - made me feel like there were no secrets and I was part of the decision making process. When I got a little shaky because I had not eaten breakfast, he kindly ran out to his car and shared his Scottish biscuits with me. Andy noticed that I was limping a bit, and kindly urged me to take my time to get around. I never felt rushed. I especially liked that a car was available on the lot, brand new, and that I could drive it away that day. I also liked that there was no pressure to finance the car when I wanted to pay cash, and no pressure to add on any services/service contracts.

Redwoody City Landrover ROCKS!

Quality service is important to me, the service advisor was thorough with what was needed for my vehicle. I appreciate the time he took to explain other services beyond what was needed so that I'm aware for future maintenance. Also, I really appreciate the loaner provided to me 2013 Range Rover was awesome! Lastly, the hours of operation is convenient, most Land Rover dealers are not open on weekends in my area. I moved 80 miles out of the bay area and coming to Redwood City Land Rover is worth the drive. Am considering an upgrade in the near future and will gladly come back and give my business to your establishment. Thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!

My experience with Land Rover Redwood City

In the 14 years that I have been a customer of Land Rover Redwood City I have always found the Service Department to be exemplary. I have been greeted with a smile and friendly hello, I have never been talked down to because I am a woman, and my concerns have been carefully and fully addressed. Appointments are cheerfully arranged for my convenience (I live in Santa Cruz) and tailored to my needs. A loaner car is immediately offered for my convenience. It is clear that the culture of Land Rover Redwood City is all about the relationship with the customer from the sales room,to the front desk, the service department, and the mechanics in the shop. In addition there is pride in appearance, cleanliness and carefulness. Unfortunately over the years I have spent quite a bit of time in the Service Department, many times arriving in the tow truck with my vehicle on the back. These can be discouraging and frustrating hours. When I would arrive after 4-5 hours on the road I would feel that I was in good and caring hands. Unlike my experiences with other dealerships I do not dread bringing my car to you, it actually feels good. For all that you do, I can not thank you enough Chris C.!
