Sales review

by Catnap1955 on 09/21/2017

Great experience buying my new car. The salesman, Jeff was very in tune to my needs. And met every one of them including making sure of the color I wanted.

Kia Store Clarksville Review

by vancej10 on 07/19/2010

I initially came across the Kia Store Clarksville online when I was reading reviews of local car dealerships. All the reviews seem to be very good and even the reviews of the service department we good. I went to their website and they had pictures of all their new and used cars online each accompanied by details about vehicle. It made it very easy to search each car thoroughly all by just the click of a mouse. Once I found a vehicle I wanted to take a look at in person, they had a place on the site where I could set up an appointment or even a test drive. I ending up scheduling a test drive online and as soon as I did that I quickly received an email from a salesmen named Eric, who introduced himself and confirmed my test drive. Judging by the website and the quick confirmation of my test drive I knew the dealership was going to be great, and it was. The Kia Store Clarksville Indiana is managed in a way that every car dealership should stride for. When I got to the dealership, the showroom floor was immaculate, so clean I could have eaten off it. There was a really relaxed atmosphere where the salesmen were joking with the customers, and everyone just looked really comfortable. I was greeted at the door by the receptionist, I told her I had an appointment with Eric, and almost on que Eric pulled up in the Sorento I was going to test drive. He formally introduced himself to me, and then we took the Sorento for a spin. As we were on the test drive I was absolutely grilling Eric with questions about the Sorento and he was keeping up with no problem. The answers he was not sure of he made note of and was sure to answer them as soon as we got back to the dealership. When we got back I sat down with one of the managers and discussed numbers. It was nice to do this with a manager as opposed to a salesmen, so we could negotiate directly as opposed to using a salesmen as a ping pong ball. Thankfully there was hardly any negotiations necessary, they offered me more than I thought I was going to get for my trade, and came down off the price that was shown on the website. We agreed to terms, and the car was mine. The Kia Store Clarksville has a very relaxed and professional atmosphere, and I will be referring my friends and family their for sure.

used cars louisville

by dolen on 06/26/2009

I recently went to The Kia store Clarksville and had a pretty good time. It is a great place to buy a new or used car for sure. They have great service, and a great selection. I read a bunch of reviews for dealerships around Louisville and the KIA store Clarksville seem to be getting the highest marks. I went to their website before I went to the actual store, which was very helpful. They have pictures of all their new and used car inventory. So I actually did the majority of my shopping from home. When I actually went to the dealership, they had the exact Sedona I was looking at online. It was like going to the grocery and the checkout boy giving you your cart full of food when you get their and all you had to do was checkout. They made it a very easy process. The salesmen were very nice, and I didnt feel like they were trying to take advantage of me.

Kia Store(s) Louisville, KY area

by vanner on 03/05/2008

We bought an '05 Sedona from the Clarksville, IN store and had MAJOR troubles with the paperwork and the registration. took days to sort it out and almost cancelled the deal. Real mess, and the overall sales manager for the group was arrogant, abusive and less than any help. But that was a coiuple years ago. We're dealing with them now for an '07 Rondo and they're behaving really well. They may have learned that it wasn't just us - their reputation around here was between terrible and horrible - NO ONE wanted to ever deal with them a second time. Now, I have one HUGE rub with car dealers who throw in a sticker with drastically overpriced dealer "services" or "products" to use as as a bargaining chip to not have to barter off the Monroney Sticker, such as the "$1600 fabric/paint protection" scam, etc. I do not begrudge a dealer making the $1000 to $1500 on a car he has to make to okay the deal. Somewhere around 5% is probably okay with me. But do NOT try to scam me with two cans of Scotchguard and a coat of Turtle Wax! These dealerships pre-install, as part of their "dealer prep", a "Security and Pin Stripe package", and it is mandatory and inescapable on every Kia they sell. Period. It consists of an RFID ignition immobilizer that is ugly as sin installed low on your dash near your knees, with two key-fob antenna units. Units like it sell on E-Bay for $35 and many can be found on the internet for up to $120. This dealership puts a price of $2600 (Clarksville, IN). OF course, if you ask them, they'll tell you it can't be taken off, is a standard Kia item, reduces your insurance, and they can't take it off now because your car won't run without it. (Yet it has a defeat function if you don't want to use it!) So beware this scam, among others they have, especially in Service. Knowledge is power. They WILL drop the whole package price form the deal if you force them, and yes, they still will bargain off the Monroney label. Margin is low on Kias so expect a wall you'll hit at about $1000 off the sticker unless there are rebates or incentives. Some sales people may not speak much English. One current one we're "Chatting" with right now is Serbian and I can't even understand his greeting, but he's an otherwise pleasent sort of guy. You can do okay with these dealers, but I'd really advise, unless you know the scams and have strength, you'd be better off going out of town where the sticker-upper is "fabric/paint".
