Buy elsewhere or be screwed...

I bought a Toyota Tundra Nov 21, and 3 days later realized the vents were not blowing. According to the carfax report it had just been inspectex by Faulkner Hyundai on Nov. 8. I contacted my salesman who said to bring it in and they would fix it. 2 weeks later they finally get me in and after having the truck for 5 days, they tell me it's going to be $3500 and the truck was sold As Is and they're not fixing it!

This company is the absolute best! We had an accident while on vacation and they helped with anything and everything. They even helped get an insurance issue taken care of. Bob in the service department is amazing. Everyone that we talked to helped, even if it was just with encouraging words. I will definitely drive the 7 1/2 next time I buy a Honda! Administratively perfect; Ask questions

This is a review for Faulkner Body Works. Administratively, they were very easy to deal with. Helen was clear in her instructions and thorough in every thing she did for us, from communicating handling of drop-off and rental pickup/drop-off and what paperwork needed to be dealt with. Our collision repair on the Outback was caused by getting rear-ended at a stop light by a much larger, fully occupied, school van. The cosmetic repairs were perfect, the car looks great. My only complaint is that in the discussion around getting the estimate done, checking the alignment and making sure it was good was mentioned a couple of times by the Faulkner guy doing the estimate. But time for checking the alignment (and performing alignment if necessary) never got onto the quote. Shame on me for not noticing this until I reviewed the bill at the dealer and learned that they hadn't done an alignment nor checked it. While I accept that I missed it on the estimate, we trusted the car experts to know what needed to be done. I haven't asked one car professional since that would agree to just drive it without having the alignment checked after a rear-end collision. So that was disappointing. We had purchased the Outback at Faulkner Subaru (affiliated dealership).

I tried a local Hyundai dealer and now went back to Faulkner Hyundai. They treat their customers so much better than the other one. Faulkner works with you on issues and doesn't just sock it to you.

Poor customer service

When I picked up my vehicle, I was reminded that my inspection expires in a month! I said it would have been nice if I rec'd a call earlier so it could have been done. I was told I can make another appt! Oh really, gee thanks. Let me be inconvenienced again making arrangements b/c loaners aren't an option! Very poor customer service & loss of business. I'll be having my inspection done elsewhere.

My wife and I have purchased 5 cars from Faulkner and 4 cars from Faulkner Hyundai. We can honestly say without any reservation we are completely satisfied with them. Chad Berger (sales Manager new cars) and Jason in sales as well as their finance lady (cant remember her name) actually delivered our car to us so we could spend family time.. Couldnt ask for a better group of people. PS: they crushed everyone else on trade allowance and the car sales price (2014 elantra GT). Outstanding job!! Robert Squillace/Jessica Sangrey.

My 2002 hyundai sonata was taken in for a recall issue for the front subframe. Not only was Hyundai Motors great to work with but Faulkner hyundai was right on top of the problem. Though my car is 12 yrs old with 127,000 miles on it, Hyundai Motors and Faulkner stood behind the work and they were great!!!

Good service but... Poor knowledge of tires

My 2013 Elantra has approx 65000 miles on it and all the service, oil and filter check changes, has always been good. As have been all maintenance appointments. Except for their Tire service, knowledge of tires, brands and offered prices. Service advisers have very little to no accurate knowledge on car tires. She even tried to tell me that Hankook and Kuhmo are the same brand. Also, tires I could buy somewhere else for $143 a tire they try to sell me for $200 they offered me a buy 4 pay for 3 still the total price was almost 30 dollars more than the tire center selling the 4 priced at $143. Absolutely ridicules prices on tires. Do not buy tires at this service center. They just try to sell you expansive tires, for even more expansive prices!

Factory recommended service...

I have received great service when taking my 2013 Hyundai Sonata in for routine service maintenance. Now, that being said my issue is with the last question being asked..."do you feel the price paid for service(s) is fair & appropriate"? To address that question let me say this...at the time I purchased the vehicle, I also chose to buy an extended warranty agreement. In order to stay within the terms of the warranties, service must be performed by a "dealership" which I believe overcharge the consumer to begin with and the type of warranty & recommended maintenance required shoots the price of those services higher & higher. I'm not sure who regulates those charges but to maintain the integrity of the vehicle I have fallen into the clutches of this money eating monster. I have no qualms about paying for services rendered but taking advantage of the public with these obscene rates has gone over the top! I can not fault one dealership as they've all fallen into the same greedy cauldron. Wishing the management would come down from their thrones and come to their senses; their consumers are blue collar working class folks who are supporting their local businesses and don't deserve to be bled dry.
