Not a good experience

I strongly recommend to anyone planning to do business with Rodman that they do their research beforehand and read the reviews for this dealer. Rodman has extremely poor customer service and does business in a very unprofessional manner, to the point where I had to open up a Better Business Bureau claim against them. I purchased a used vehicle from them at the beginning of the year. Onsite, the sale and trade in went fine. The salesperson took took care of VIN check and registration and offered to drop the car off at my home. Since it was an out of state transaction, I was told that I would need to take care of the inspection, but that I would be reimbursed for cost (the bill of purchase actually shows that I paid for state registration, VIN check, AND state inspection). After the vehicle was dropped off, I noticed several large chips in my windshield. I also noticed that I was not provided with the wheel lock key for my spare. I immediately contacted the salesperson who acknowledged the chips. He told me that he would contact the previous owner for the key and would look into seeing what could be done about the windshield. A week went by and finally the manager contacted me to say that the dealer wouldn’t replace the windshield because it wasn’t legally necessary (the chips “were not in the line of site”) and because it was not mentioned at the time of sale (even though he agreed they were not present at the time of sale). I expressed my thoughts at which point the manager got heated and hung up on me. In addition, I didn’t hear anything back regarding the inspection compensation or the wheel lock key. I had to open up a BBB claim in order to hear back from the owner, who basically accused me of being at fault for the windshield, but told me he would comp me for the inspection and the cost of wheel locks (not considering the fact that I had to pay someone to remove them from the vehicle). It wasn’t the best resolution but I was fine just ending it at that point and moving on. After driving around for a few weeks, I noticed the steering was off so I took it in to another dealer to get checked and was told there was an open recall to replace the steering dampener. So Rodman didn’t even take care of that either. It seemed like they were done with me as soon as the deal was made, and they felt no responsibility to take care of any of the issues that were handed to me. This is just not good business.

Service DEPT visit - Sales DEPT = no follow up

Went in for drove train warranty issues on my 2018 F150. Service DEPT okay,, but there is the issue of covering the cost of my rental. Emailed sales DEPT to call to discuss a 2020 f-150.,, no call back !! This is not the first time this sales depart has not followed up . Service Mgr & advisors are good. Sales staff not so much

Not sure what is going on at Rodman Ford.

I had scheduled to have a few things done to my 2015 Ford 150. 1) Oil change 2) Check health of battery 3) There was some minor rust spots near grill and slight chipping 4) Update all my lights to LED, headlights, high beams and fog lights. I was quoted $1400+ for this work. I went over all this multiple times on the phone and when I dropped the vehicle off on 8/3/20. Work was "completed" 8/7/20. Weekend comes and I realize they never installed the high beams. I checked my bill and I was not charged, but at this point I had spent 1400, why wouldn't you call and ask, "hey would you like the high beams." Or perhaps just verify, clearly I'm not overly concerned with the cost. I bring the vehicle back on Monday (8/10/20) and they say our bad we will order the high beams and they should be here by Tuesday. Tuesday comes, no call, Wednesday comes, no call. Thursday I am calling asking what is going on? All I am thinking at this point, "why am I chasing these guys to give them my money?" Why the lack of communication? Why the terrible service? Can't blame everything on COVID-19. Not sure why Rodman is so spotty. For every 2 times you go there everything is great and 3rd time just a mess.

2018 Chevy

At first I didn’t wanna buy a car from that lot, till matt changed my mind. And thank you for making me change my mind cause I love my new car I’m glad we could come to in agreement. Only thing I didn’t like was having to go with him to get the vin check they should do that before they even sell anyone a car. But overall it was a great experience

Making it right

I had purchased a new 2016 Fusion on Dec 31, 2015, regrettably not from Rodman. I was rear ended in late January 2016. Being a brand new car, I was extremely upset. I brought the car into Rodman for repair, as the dealer I purchased the car from was not on my insurance company's preferred list. Rodman Collision Center did a GREAT job repairing the accident. I was so happy in fact, that when some hit the car again over the summer, my first instinct was to take it back to Rodman. Again, leaving the dealership I though they had done a great job!!! A few weeks went by, and I noticed that paint didn't match. I do not have a trained eye, so it took me a while. Over the next month I struggled with this, not knowing it was really off or just my eyes playing tricks on me. Finally, it got to the point whenever I would look at that side of the car, I would get upset because by now it was sticking out like a sore thumb. I worried however that it had been a couple of months and that I would have to pay something to get it fixed. I called Rodman Collision and explained the situation to their Assistant Manager. He asked that I bring the car in for him to take a look. I did so a week later, and he noticed the difference right away. I asked what it would cost to fix? His reply was "Nothing, you already paid for it, we'll make it right". We scheduled a day for me to drop off the car, and since the insurance was not involved, they even gave me a loaner. I went to pick up the car a few days later. Paint was perfect, from all angles, and now I knew what to look for! Not only did they fix the blemish and give me a loaner for free, they also detailed the car for me, which was an added bonus since it is winter and the car was getting a bit neglected. Not only have they won my business from a repair standpoint, but having witnessed their commitment to customer satisfaction, when the time comes for me to turn in this car, you can bet the FIRST place I'm going to go is Rodman. I just hope that their Sales team is a good as their Collision team!

No customer service

Ok so I don't really rant on here about a business problem because we all have bad days. With that being said. Rodman Ford in Foxboro need help on what customer service is. I bought a new car there a year and a half ago and I had a awesome experience with salesmen Dave was great. Fast forward to first oil change take the car in and it comes out with a small scratch.... within 20 minutes i call the service department and say hey you scratched my car ... Expecting a hard time they say ok sorry bring it back and we will fix it no problem. I bring it back they put a little paint over the unwashed car and say your all set. I wasn't having it I had to argue for them to do it right. Thinking I was all done with the drama I go in to get my steering wheel looked at because it was peeling. I had a appointment and it took over a hour to get the car in side to take a picture I was irritated. Then a month later I got a call hey are you going to pick up your steering wheel? Well no one called me to let me know it was there. I get a appointment and have it installed quickly as i was leaving the service writer says " you will get a survey and if you don't have something good to say don't say anything ". I wrote this on the survey and a few days later get a voice mail saying we will do anything to change your mind about us we will detail your car free oil changes you tell us what you want. I ignore the call because I just want someone to know how I felt about the lack of service. So now its time for another oil change and they now won't service my car until they take pictures of it because I am " trying to get something for free " they say I lied about the first scratch and that I am out to get them. So now I cant get the service I paid for in advance. They have zero respect for people. I would not recommend there service department to my worst enemy.

Terrible Service!

If I could give 0 stars I would. We were interested in a used truck and were told to put a deposit down until our application was processed. We got a call from the finance department and they gave us three options on what we needed to do as far as getting financed for the truck. We chose to go with one of the options and when we went back three days later they had sold the truck! With no notification or contact from Rodman's and they still have our security deposit.... Very unprofessional, disappointed and will never be back or recommend this company to anyone.

Awesome expierence great dealership

I went to Rodman Ford, when my current car died.. Went online found a 2016 ford Focus. got in touch with Caitlin Kennedy-Correa. gotta say this was the easiest car buying experience I have ever Had. From test drive, to finance to out the door. was just fantastic. They even got me a rent a car for 2 days, while everything was getting processed. Can not recommend Caitlin, Vinny, or Craig any higher. great dealership, great people. go there you will be surprised, at the service from everybody !

I recently purchased a Ford Escape. Wayne Derby was my salesman. Craig Rossi took care of the paperwork in a fast and efficient manner. Wayne took me around and introduced me to everyone I would be in contact with at some point. Because of the web site I was able to tell him exactly what vehicle I was interested in. There was no pressure and price was right with no haggling needed. Wayne took the time to show me every feature In the vehicle. My family has done business there for generations and will continue to do so, and have already recommended Wayne to friends and family.

I had been car shopping for a few months before going to Rodman. Car shopping should be exciting, it is such a drag when you have to fight off pesty sales people. There was nothing pesty about Rodman. If you wanted a car, they would help you, if not, no push. I truly enjoyed the entire experience. Thanks to Tony I was in a new car in no time. A car that I loved and a car that I could afford. I would highly recommend Rodman to anyone looking for cars, new or used! Thank you Rodman! I'm in love with my new ride.

Jim Laferriere awesome job sales and customer support

I recently purchased a 2015 Fusion from Jim Laferriere. He did such an awesome job not only pre-sales but also went out of his way to help train me on my high powered machine! He programmed my cell to my car, the entry lock to my secret code, great music choices & was so helpful. He also set me up with Ford online and the many monitoring features. After sales I had a problem and he still did a nice job taking care of it. I truly appreciace having a sales/customer service person all in one!
