Great service department, sales not so much

I asked and asked when I bought my truck in March of this year if it had a trailer brake controller on it, I was assured that it did, also asked about the charging system to charge my camper, I was told that in 20 yrs they had never been asked that question, in the end I ended up paying another 263 dollars for a trailer brake controller that was NOT in my truck and had to do many hours of research and ruining around to find out about the charging system, and I am still not sure it is right but your service department is awesome, so in the end love your service department, not so sure that I would buy another truck from someone where the sales people don't know their product.

I stopped by mid day at the used lot in Augusta & saw a red F-250 & John offered to let me take it out for a test drive & I did. I checked it out & it was really clean & we'll taken care of. Discussed trade in of two other trucks that I have. John did a credit check & called back on cell phone & told me I was approved. Cam back to dealership a little after 4 & decided to buy the truck with no trade in & sell one of my trucks privately & refinance the loan. All of the staff were cordial & professional. They stayed till after 5:30 to complete the transaction even though the dealership closed at 5. I have received an email & text from John checking on my new purchase. I had some difficulty syncing my phone with the radio & they were able to assist me with it. It was a really enjoyable experience & will definitely return for another vehicle. STAY AWAY FROM QUIRK!

I dropped my Ford F150 off to be serviced last week. I said I need the oil pump replaced and the pickup screens cleaned because I have low oil pressure and there is a knock developing. I get a call a week later, "So there's a knock coming from the engine and for us to figure it out, we're going to have to go ahead and pull the engine apart." To which I replied "No, as I said to the receptionist, the mechanic, and the little Drop-Off paper, Replace the pump and clean the screens. I'm not sure who I was speaking to at that point but by his douchbag tone of voice I felt beyond uncomfortable letting them work on my truck. So I said No thank you I'l just come get my truck. I go to pickup my truck and Greg tells me I can pay here. Pay for what? The free estimate? He said "My guys had labor into that truck, ahhh forget it, I don't even want to deal with you" It gets better. I head out to get my truck and find a nasty dent on my truck that was NOT there when I dropped it off. I went back in and had the pleasure of dealing with Greg again. He told me there was no dent on my truck so I asked him to come out and look at it. I pointed it out and his response was "My guys didn't do that" What a horrible experience from the rude woman who answers the phone to the lying [non-permissible content removed] who run the Service department. Lets review, You held my truck for a week, suggest tearing my engine apart when all you did was start it. You try charging me for a free estimate and then retract when I call you out on it. And then when I say I don't want you touching my truck, You put a dent in it.. What made my day was the police officer who filed the report telling me there are no cameras on the premises and that my only option is small claims court. And all I wanted was my oil pump replaced, and pickup screens cleaned. I don't know how you stay in business.

Horrible service!

I Purchased a 2012 Ford Focus new from Quirk Ford of Augusta, Maine. I have had warranty issues with vehicle and the service manager Walter O, has been horrible to deal with. He never calls me back, sometimes 2 weeks later. Doesn't care about potential safety issue with car. Tires wear out every 9-10,000 miles and says there is nothing wrong with car. Yet he never actually inspected the car, specifically the rear end and bearings or other potentials. His other service guy Greg B laughed at me and hung up as well! I will never do business with Quirk Ford EVER again!! AND I will tell everyone about my horrible experience!
