2016 Wrecked Taurus

Buyer beware, was given a clean auto check and a verbal contract, had car checked and all doors have altered, rear suspension has been out from under the car and next day they would not refund my money, Left 4 Messages for Cody Cain and he won't even return my call. Buyer beware.

very unhappy customer

car lot is horrible. bought a car on the 9th of march. was told we could write a check for down payment for the 24th. was not the case. they rushed us through the paperwork on the 9th because they were getting ready to close so they didn't take the check. told us to bring the car back for detailing the next day. so my husband brought the car back the next day and gave them the check...it was dated for the 24th...they deposited it to the bank two days later throwing our acct negative more than 677.00 including the 8 fees of $36 each...bank helped with two fees but now we still have 216 in fees. so when my tuition check for the summer hit my account it ate it. i'm in nursing school and lost all the money they were helping me with for summer. have called the dealership several times and the sales manager tells me he is trying to find ways to help me. even have a voicemail where he tells me he hasn't forgotten about me and is trying to reach the lady at the bank. never heard back. called him this past Thursday and he said he would find out what the bank said and let me know. no call back. I would not use this dealership again. will not recommend to family or friends unless they are looking to be taken advantage of. very upset, very disappointed. it was a sweet gesture from my husband to trade his car to put me in something newer due to all the driving I was doing for nursing school and now I resent the whole situation because of the financial distress it put our family in.

Buyer Beware

I purchased a 2011 pre-owned F150 truck from Billy Cain Ford in Commerce Georgia on 7/11/2014 and wanted to share my experience with other prospective buyers. Two words would sum it up and those would be, "“buyer beware"”. I first located this truck via an advertisement on the cars.com website. After viewing the photos of the truck and speaking with a salesperson I drove three hours from Lake Wylie, SC to see the truck in person. After getting some background information on the vehicle and looking it over (not closely enough as it turned out) I took it for a test drive. I was satisfied with how it drove and decided to make an offer and after the usual haggling purchased the truck. After getting the truck back home I realized I hadn't checked it over quite closely enough. I discovered unrepaired hail damage on the roof of the vehicle. That's when the problems began. I contacted the salesman to inquire about the hail damage on the truck and asked him why he hadn't made me aware of it before it was sold. Of course he denied any knowledge of the damage. I told him I'd like to get it repaired and he suggested that I turn it in to my insurance company and let them take care of it. I politely told him that sounded like fraud and that I was pretty sure my insurer was smarter than that. He then suggested that I get an estimate to repair the damage so I got two separate quotes and sent them to him. After that got no results I took pictures of the damage and emailed those to the general manager on 8/10/2014. Now two months later I'm no closer to getting this resolved than I was after my initial contact back in July. The general manager assured me that he would stand behind his product and wanted to make things right but apparently he was just trying to put me off. So after two months of emailing and calling him trying to get a response it's apparent they consider the matter closed and have moved on. I fully understand the liabilities of purchasing a used vehicle and don't expect them to totally bear the cost to repair the damage (damage that any reputable dealer would have fixed before selling a vehicle). But this dealer has been unprofessional throughout, not having the common courtesy to respond to emails and phone calls and offers to negotiate the cost of repair. I now wish I had checked other customer reviews of this dealer and the Better Business Bureau website before purchasing this truck. If you're thinking of purchasing a vehicle from this dealer my advice would be to check things out fully before making a deal because once you leave their dealership you're on your own. Believe me, I know from experience.

Upset Customer

My fiance purchased a 2012 ford focus hatchback. We had a lot of transmission issues with it and had it back at the dealership a few times during the 2 to 3 months we owned it. Finally the last time we got it out of the shop the mechanic failed to either tighten a bolt or put it back on and the front end came out of it lucky for us it wasn't while we were going down the interstate it happen to be on the road we lived on. At this point we refused to take this lemon back . They offered us a brand new 2014 ford focus said they would give us a great deal on one because they hadn't had any complaints on them and guaranteed us we wouldn't have any out of it. To my surprise right after 6500 miles the transmission starts skipping sputtering and is doing the same thing so I called and they did some type of upgrade on the transmission. I went up there and spoke with them a couple weeks ago and I told them they have got to do something I was told by one of the employees there that these cars were made for the "younger generation" because they didn't pay any attention to the slipping and skipping and sputtering that these cars do as someone "older as myself " did. RUDE Very rude ....and also very discriminating.... Now they haven't called us back to try to help us anyway I tried to trade it but I am 4500 to 5500 upside down in the car. I was totally lied to by this place all they care about is getting their money and totally not the customer Now I am stuck with an UNSAFE CAR that I am afraid to drive but have no choice to drive because they REFUSE to help us in any way. I have contacted the BBB and I am in the middle of the paper work process.

Great People

I thought the people were really great at Billy Cain Ford. They showed me around the lot for some good used cars. I didn't find the one I wanted but I'll probably be back later when they get more vehicles in. They were really nice and I didn't have to walk everywhere. They took me to each vehicle on a golf cart.

Billy Cain Ford Met or Exceeded My Expectations

It was refreshing to receive an initial asking price for a new vehicle from this dealer that was very reasonable and right on the money with Edmund's TMV. The same holds true for their offer for my trade in (with a minimal amount of prompting). If you are looking to purchase a vehicle at a fair price, based upon my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend this dealer.
