Best Experience EVER!
I love that new car smell as much as the next person, but when it comes to buying a new car I have always hated it! It usually isn't the salesperson, but the F&I folks that made the experience so awful. Hubby started talking about trading in our 2012 Grand Caravan for a new 2017....I dreaded it instantly. We went through the Sam's Club Auto Buying Program, and the "sharks" started emailing and calling immediately (I asked him to answer all of those calls lol). He talked to Patrick Graham who sent over information about one of the vans they had available. It was nice, but it didn't have the creature features I was hoping for, so I started looking at others and found one I liked. That was Monday around 3 PM. By Tuesday we had secured preapproved financing, agreed on a price for the vehicle and gap insurance and arranged to be at the dealership on Wednesday at 11:00 AM to sign the papers. We were passing the dealership on our way back from Ormond Beach, and I asked hubby if we could stop in and see the vehicle since we had only seen pictures until that point. The staff was so friendly! We first met Chris who was happy to show us the features of what would become our new van the following morning, he even got the keys and let us ride it around the block. As we were leaving the sales manager, Aaron, came out to see if everything was ok and offered to process our paperwork that evening, but it was around 7 PM, and we were tired and hungry, so we kept our appointment with Patrick the following morning. We arrived a little after 11 AM and found Patrick. we had already sent over our insurance information and driver licenses so he was able to get the paperwork moving for a quick close. He took us to meet the service manager, showed us their quick lube center, and their car wash while we waited for Manny to finish up with another customer. It did take a little bit to get in with Manny, but he was on his own that morning, so it was understandable. I have to admit, when I heard I had to go into F&I to sign the paperwork I was worried about how what had so far been a fantastic experience would end, that's usually where we encounter very rude and pushy people pushing the add-ons. Then it was our turn. I could feel the knots in my stomach as I worried that the deal we were so happy with was going to soon tank. But, it didn't! Manny was fantastic! We were just about done with the signing of the paperwork when hubby asked something along the lines of "Is this when you're going to start trying to sell me an extended warranty?" To which he responded that he couldn't as part of the deal because we had brought our own financing and they wouldn't allow it. However, we did talk about the options with him and will more likely than not be returning in a few months to purchase the unlimited service plan. Overall, this was my BEST experience ever! There is no doubt in my mind that our future vehicle purchases will be from them!
Horrible Customer Service to Veterans
We purchased our jeep last Thursday. Robbie was our sales guy, and he was great! Couldn't have asked for a better person to buy a vehicle from! However, its too long of a story to waste my time writing, but service and parts is absolutely HORRIBLE. WORST customer service we've ever dealt with. LISA is the rudest person, and by far the WORST manager ever. Completely unprofessional and shouldn't have a job where she interacts with people. The sales team is great and works with customers very well, but once you get your brand new 2017 vehicle and there's something wrong with it, don't count on their service department to help. Called and explained it to a sales manager, who had 0 time to talk to someone who just purchased a vehicle there, his name was Aaron. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. Then, we called and spoke to the GM, he seemed nice and said that he'd be calling us back the next day to resolve everything. However, we never got a phone call back from him. Dana was really nice, she is in the service department, not sure if that's her name or not. We're NOT impressed with this dealership at all. AGAIN, KUDOS to Robbie, because if every employee was as nice and helpful as him, they'd probably have 5/5 star reviews!
Tricks of the car business
Agreed on a price had a contract when enter finance the price changes. Waited and hour for doc preparation get it finance don't even have name spelled right. If you have the patience to go through the car sales games you can be here all day. This is all the reasons you want to not go to a dealership to buy a car.
False & Misleading
I have received monthly phone calls about trading my old jeep. The deal was "How would you like to trade in your old jeep and get a new one and still have the same monthly payment". I probably expected that i would have a similar payment but just extended out a 6 year loan. They also boasted how well my trade in would be since Jeeps keep a high resale value. Bottom line my 2 year old Jeep I purchased at $26K, they gave me $17K and had the gall to put it on the lot and resell it for $27K. I spent 2 hours in the store trying to get it up to $20K and was only able to get it to $17. The new car had no discounts and I paid sticker price. I was truly screwed, please do not settle when buying a car.
Guts, Glory, Ram
I have been a top professional auto salesman and sales manager at high line dealerships, in addition to parts and service manager. I have a better understanding of how this business works than most. I believe that I probably have forgotten more than most in the business know now. That being said, Cynthia is great, and the other staff I worked with (sales managers) are personable and easy to work with. Now with my job at DHS and being Past Commander of the VFW, American Legion, and a member of the Combat Vets, AmVets, Korean War Vets, Eagles, etc. I come into contact with people from the Governor, County Chair and vets almost daily. Based on my experience with the Daytona Ram/Truck Center I can highly recommend Cynthia and the dealership.
Terrible Dealership terrible service
Run the customer in circles until their warranty runs out..... then we got em' That's the mentality of Daytona Dodge. They are so caught up in the business of telling themselves that they would do anything to make the customer happy that they apparently don't have any time to actually DO anything to make the paying customer happy. Just a bunch of people sitting around saying how hard they try so they can sleep better at night. Don't get me wrong, there are a few really great employees there but unfortunately they are treated as scapegoats by the management and ignored. 19 months of unresolved issues on a BRAND NEW $38k truck is ridiculous. I understand that things happen with new trucks, but a leaky roof, radio that has constant static, piece of junk transmission that has hesitated to the point of almost getting me killed, all sorts of electrical problems, the alarm goes off at random for no reason, ignition issues (had to have it towed), serious engine vibration issues, and my truck locking me out on it's own, just to name a few, you can see that any decent company would at least put forth a genuine effort to fix a situation this problematic. I had been a loyal customer for over 11 years but am now realizing that the true colors of a company come out when there is a problem and they realize that they might have to actually spend money out of their pocket to fix it and do the right thing. Don't have loyalty to a dealership if they have zero loyalty towards you. I highly recommend you take your buying power and your money somewhere other than Dayton Dodge!
We had a wonderful time with the employees, who were friendly and knowledgeable. A BIG THANKS to our super salesman- David Brown, who provided a fun, professional and seamless transaction. THANKS- We Love Our new Promaster!!
Timely, professional, and overall great experience.
David Brown was a excellent salesman along with being a really cool person. David was not pushy at all he knows his stuff and he really truly wanted to get me and my family the best deal possible. He was very accommodating to me and my family. We have a special needs child and we were worried that the process was going to be rough, but David made sure it was a great experience. Anything we needed he was more then willing to help us get it. If you are in the market for a vehicle I would highly recommend coming down and seeing him and the wonderful staff at Daytona Dodge.
Very Fair Service Work
Being a new truck, most work was under warranty, but I had them add a trailer brake controller. The final cost came in under the estimate and about the same as the option price to have it built in during production. It integrates with the vehicle electronics and works great. Very happy with their service.
Nice Treatment and a Fair Deal
Bought a new 2014 Ram 1500 after spending hours testing Durangos, Grand Cherokees and the Ram. The salesman was very patient and not pressuring. In the end, I received a very fair deal and am still pleased with the outcome. The Ram 1500 has done everything we asked and we have no regrets.
Top Shelf Service!
I bought my Chrysler 300 at Daytona Dodge and also bought with it the extended warranty, that everyone tells you not to buy. Well let me say that without Nikki R. and her great service to me, & without the warranty coverage, after my factory warranty ran out.. it would have cost me $$$$ of dollars to repair my car. Thank you for going the extra mile for me Nikki! I wont buy anywhere else but Daytona Dodge!
Thank you Daytona Dodge for the great service on my vehicle. I came in to have my oil changed and they also found another issue involving something covered by my warranty and fixed it right away for me too. The also have a great courtesy shuttle!
Very fast service
I was in because my taillight kept saying it was out. I got it in to service and had my ram back in 30 min with a system up date. The service tech Nikki R. was a pleaser to work with.everything was under warranty. Great job I'll be back
Purchased a new vehicle
Purchased a new Town & Country and had a very good experience. Would recommend. Salesman Charles was very knowledgeable and helped us in everyway.
Like anything it is who you deal with
My experiences with Daytona Dodge have been top notch but big credit goes to Tim R. my salesperson. He will go the extra mile to make sure your sales process goes smoothly and my last three purchases always have.
I brought my truck in to have an electrical problem fixed. I told them that I had already had it looked at by another mechanic and that the electrical portion of the ignition switch needed to be replaced, because the aftermarket remote starter was the only way we could start the truck. The diagnosis that they charged me $85 for was that there was a short in the electrical system of the aftermarket system, and they would have to charge me $360 to find the shorted wire so they could repair it. When I questioned them about it they were unable to give me a decent answer as to what was wrong. The service manager assured me that they had spent 3 hours looking for the problem. When I told her that I knew she was lying to me because we both knew when the truck had been dropped off, and I had the exact time of when she called me (1 hour and 17 minutes later), she got very defensive and said that maybe she had rounded up from over 2 hours of work. I despise being lied to, and I find it ridiculous that that was the diagnosis they charged me for. When I brought up my complaint to the manager he backed up his technician and said that they don't run a dishonest dealership, and still made me pay the fee. Stay FAR away from this dealership, take it to 5 star auto instead, they replaced the ignition switch for me as I asked, and presto, the truck worked again!

DO NOT BUY from this dealership, they are scrupulous. they sold me a use van that is pure trash it has bad ratings. I drove the van home and the engine light came on. They refused to give me my money back and i demanded it an hour from buying this junk. Save your self and your money do not buy from them period.
Very pleased, felt like they cared about us, not just the sale
We bought a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan from Daytona Dodge in February and are happy with the deal. We shopped three different dealers in person and others online. Our salesman, Tim Rodewald, took the time to listen to what we were looking for and went the extra mile to come up with a competative price, even coming in on his day off to finalize the deal. He took the time to show how the new features on the van worked, introduced us to the department heads at the dealership, and gave candid (and accurate) information without any high pressure sales tactics. Other dealers were asking for more money for vans with less features, Daytona Dodge was willing to give us a fair price on our trade in. We still had to go through some of the usual sales manager and finance manager stuff, but even they were not high pressure, just doing their jobs. The owner seems invovled in the community. My wife appreciated the relaxed atmosphere of the dealership, big enough to have what we were looking for, small enough that you were treated like a valued customer, not just another sale. Because of Tim's efforts to meet us on both on the specific features and the price we needed, we bought at Daytona Dodge.
We have no confidence in the integrity of this service dept.
We are also out-of-towners who had the misfortune to be towed to this dealership when our 2008 Chrysler Sebring convertible would not start. Long story short, we had to spend 2 1/2 extra days in Ormond Beach, rent a car to finally get home, incur an additional 6 days rental fees, and drive back up to the dealer (3 1/2 hour trip) to pick up our car after 9 days waiting for a part (PCM) that I don't even believe was the problem. There was absolutely nothing done for us that could be considered "customer service." In fact, we were told that they didn't have the capability for overnight Fedex...give me a break! I don't believe they knew what the problem was, and I don't believe they gave a darn about the inconvenience and expense they caused us. I'm not confident that the repair done was what caused the problem. I wish we had been towed to a different dealer.
Jeep Unlimited Top
I have been waiting for a replacement top for my leaky 2007 jeep unlimited for over a year now. All I get when I call is 'it's on back order" The service Representative seems to have no interest in resolving the issue. I actually brought up the problem with the constantly leaking top almost 2 years ago but can only document one year. Three stereos have been ruined and there is mold in the interior (possibly resulting in health issues). I really dislike writing a negative review and dislike more having to hire a layer.
