Darin is my salesman. He guaranteed the car he sold me was very reliable. Outside of his knowledge the car had a few problems. I contacted him with the concern. Due to the issues with the car, I needed to borrow one until mine was ready. Not only did they let me borrow a newer car they fixed mine. They have gone above & beyond more than I have ever imagined. I will never go anywhere else for my next vehicle. Thank you for all you have done & keeping your word. Businesses like yours are extremely hard to find.

Poor Customer Service

Everytime I've called Service in the past 3 yrs. I always get the message machine. I leave my name & number but they don't call back. Days go by and I never hear from them on the status of my vehicle repair or problem is. Hillsboro Mazda has excellent service but is to much farther to drive when there is a break-down.

Chuck and Jerry have been amazing!! They have helped me with a check engine light twice since my purchase of my 2007 Durango in late April. They have been helpful, friendly and very kind!! I am extremely impressed with how they have assisted me in correcting the few minor issues that have come up. They have stood behind it all and given me plenty of reason to come back to Jim Doran Service Center to maintain my Durango!!! I bought a used car from this dealer and learned later that it had an electrical problem. They didn't know about it and it didn't appear in my test drive because it only appeared in very hot weather. When I brought it to their attention they went more than the extra mile to make sure it was fixed and the car works. They did that even though I bought it as is with no warranty. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent Sales Experience

I recently visited Jim Doran Auto Centers in McMinnville, Oregon and came home with a new Renegade. Darin Stutzman, the sales rep, was very helpful in pointing out the features of the new vehicle and explained in detail the many new technologies that the vehicle had. The test drive gave me the chance to experience the new features and technologies first hand. Once the decision was made to purchase the Renegade Trailhawk, the paper work was very quickly executed and I was off. It was a very good car purchasing experience. I will be going to the dealership for servicing.

2010 BMW X5M

Bought a 2010 X5M there, what appeared to be a great service history and they claimed passed their inspection. Got a Service Vehicle warning light up first startup for needing a brake flush, entire was horribly dirty, interior looked like it had dried milk on the door, they budged $250 on the price once I pointed these things out. It was a Sunday, I know how to work on BMW's, so I bit the bullet...and then took one as well. One week into ownership and the injectors fail, I found a "deal" on them for $900 then a BMW tech buddy and I replaced them for $200. A module failed beforehand, windows acting funny, headlights wouldn't work, $1200 later and after almost 3 weeks, it's back on the road. My salesman, Darin Stuntzman, condescending [non-permissible content removed] who arranged the internet deal and then passed it off to someone else when I tried negotiating. Claims to have called the prior owner to ask details of questionable repairs or lack there of for 15k, always claiming he can't be reached, doesn't know or telling me I should have bought a warranty...might as well just admit they lied, didn't inspect ANYTHING, just flipped it in a rush since it was a BMW on a Jeep lot. There's a reason I hated selling cars years ago, and it's situations like this which remind me why I got out of that backstabbing business.

WORST Dealership in State of Oregon

Used Car Sales Manager lied, several times. Service department PROBABLY installed a used Low Coolant Sensor. It failed 3 months later. With no offer to make it right. Went to another dealership for the repairs at my own cost. They give other Chrysler Dealerships a Black eye.

2010 charger

Came in late on a Tuesday evening knowing what I was looking for. When I pulled in the parking lot with my daughter and dad, I met Greg. Very nice guy that pulled the vehicle up for me and made it easy to put my daughters car seat in. He and management made the deal very easy to complete getting my payments very far beneath the payments I was looking for. I did mention to Greg that I sold cars and I did not want to deal with the BS. They honored my request. I know how difficult it is to try to sell a vehicle to a former car salesman. We can make it very difficult to get a deal completed. I appreciate the hard work to get me to the payment I was looking for.

Diesel!!

I had been looking for a Ram 1500 diesel to possibly replace my 2012 1500 V8 and found that Jim Doran had 2 in stock. Went down last Saturday just to test drive one and met Sam, the sales manager who set me up with Darin. We took 2014 Ram 1500 diesel out for a test drive and suddenly my other truck had to go. Darin and Sam worked out the particulars of my trade, incentives and were working on financing when I told them that I would like to keep the new tires I just had installed on my 2012 Ram. "No problem" was the response and after a phone call to the local tire shop, I was on my way to get the tires changed over. Done. No talking, no complaints, no charge... So thanks to Darin and Sam, 4 hours after driving into Jim Doran with a perfectly good truck I drove out with an awesome 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel...

Impressed, Amazed and Very Happy

The kickoff for my new Jeep purchase was via email with Darin Stutzman, Internet Sales Manager. He responded right away, was patient with my questions and always available. When I met him in person, he was even better. I test drove two vehicles, and he was friendly and we had great conversations, which included how auto salespeople are second only to dentists in people we'd rather avoiding "dealing" with. I'm happy to say that my entire experience was amazing. The general expectation of buying a car is that you will be sold to, toyed with and taken advantage of -- essentially just another sales commission. Not at Jim Doran Auto Center. Darin took great care of me and even helped me get to my old vehicle to pick it up after my purchase. Saying I felt like "Queen for a Day" isn't quite accurate, because even after purchase he is still in contact and looking after me. From the raving letters on the wall of his office, I can tell I'm not the only royalty in town. I highly recommend your next vehicle purchase be through a Jim Doran dealership, and particularly Darin. (Read this same review elsewhere? Darn straight. Not a pleasant experience.

I bought a used car, that needed a few minor repairs before I would agree to purchase. The salesman Mr. Darin S. assured me that all repairs would be taken care of. So I purchased the vehicle. It was only after a threat of Small Claims Court, that the dealership kept their promise of making all repairs. As for the service department, in the case of one of the repairs, I sat and waited for my car for 2 1/2 hours before the service manager informed me that they didn't have the part and would have to order it. And the car wouldn't be ready until late in the afternoon. They say they pride themselves on good customer service. But they certainly missed the mark in this instance. It is highly unlikely that I will ever purchase another vehicle from Jim Doran dealership. Nor will I refer anyone to them.
