Worst car buying experience

Short and sweet... I was here for work and decided to buy a car for my wife. I was told to title it here in Alabama to be cheaper,then was told I needed insurance from here, it couldnt be with my current carrier, after getting insurance from here, took off more time to get a tag only to find out, now I needed a drivers license from here, costing me more and more. Tried to call the dealership and ask for finance and salesman, left numerous messages and no return call for almost a week. Finally went up there and was told it was already titled here and deal was done, but come to find out it only costed me more, now I have to come up with another 5 to 6 thousand to transfer the title and refinance back home. I trusted them to lead me in the right direction only to get screwed. I thought buying a car was supposed to be a good experience, this has been nothing but a headache and if I knew then what I know now, I most definitely would not have bought this vehicle!!!!! Very unsatisfied.

Brent Waldron was my salesman and did an incredible job. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. They valued my time and made quick work of the whole process. My truck was order exactly as I specified and was ready when promised. Brent went beyond expectations on going over the entire vehicle and making certain that I understood exactly how everything worked. Finance department was very quick and made the purchase easy with no pressure. I would highly recommend buying form McConnell and using Brent for your salesman. You can't go wrong.

I recently purchased a 2019 Yukon XL. Brent Waldron was hands down the best salesman ever!! I upgraded from a 2016 Toyota Highlander due to needing more space. When Brent mentioned the XL I said, “there’s no way I can drive that big ole thing!” He assured me that I could and we took it for a test drive. He was right!! I am so happy with my purchase.

My experience ‘‘this past Friday @McConnell and my salesman, Brent Waldron, was the best experience purchasing a vehicle was the absolute best I’ve ever had. Brent worked hard and his excellent knowledge and professionalism exceeded all expectations. The finance department was top notch also. New vehicle purchase - outstanding experience

McConnell Automotive: Ordered a new 2015 GMC Yukon XL at a fair price and expected delivery with in 8 to 10 weeks, for an extended vacation to the western states. Vehicle manufacture was delayed - McConnell provided free, a new "Loaner" similar to the ordered vehicle for the vacation. The new vehicle-a 2016 arrived 5 months after order placed and McConnell honored the original purchase agreement pricing. McConnell is a DEALER WITH INTEGRITY! They stood by their word without hesitation. The 2015/2016 Yukon XL is the our second new vehicle purchase from McConnell, and when the time comes to replace the 2016, there is no question as to where we will go for another vehicle.
