I got to this dealership through True Car and Karen contacted me quickly. She was super quick in getting back to me, seemed upbeat and personable, and clearly went the extra mile to get me both the vehicle I was interested in and the price I wanted. She spent a good bit of time on the phone with me making sure she had all the information that could help with rebates and incentives, and overall was super helpful! I ended up purchasing from a much closer dealer but wished I could have purchased from Karen because I enjoyed our interactions, something I rarely say about a car salesperson!
Excellent Experience at BMW of Silver Spring with Tae Yeon

Lost Key experience
The service I received at BMW Silver Spring, Maryland was superior. A parking valet attendant lost the key to my BMW X3 at 1:30 am in the morning and I was 25 miles from home. The valet attendant was unconscious to the extent of his action and how it adversely impacted me and my date. For example, he actually said with contempt "I said I was sorry." and "you can call an Uber". After waking up his management and calling the police to address the immediate issue of my lost key, I am happy to say that Brandi, in the service department assisted to obtain and reset a new key for my 2016 X3. Furthermore, as it is in bailment issues she knew it is the responsibility of the parking company to pay the cost of a new key and reset. Providing one less thing for me to do, she recovered the total cost associated with the lost key from the Parking Company. Thank you Brandi, you made my experience better to include the complementary loaner vehicle. I appreciate it, these are the amenities which make the cost of a BMW worthwhile.

I highly recommend Karen Herbert as a sales associate. She is very kind, understanding, and will look out for your best interest without sugar coating any details. Mr. Ron Askew is Extraordinary
I visited the dealer today to plan ahead for my next vehicle purchase because I am leaving in 2 weeks for United States Army basic training. I went to about 3 dealerships and no one greeted me as I entered. Upon my arrival in less than 10 seconds Mr. Ron spotted me and asked if I need any help. I told him the vehicle I was interested (335/340ix) and he asked a series of question to truly understand my needs. He was able to asses what I wanted out of my next vehicle and helped me narrow down my options. He even gave me great advice on how to best go about financing the vehicle and giving me tips to optimize my credit score. I truly appreciate the time and effort Mr. Askew took to help me when other dealerships didn't even take the time out to say hello. We went on a test drive and due to Mr. Askew's detailed presentation of the vehicle I fell in love with the 2018 340ix. Since I will be leaving the area soon for the military and have no idea where my first duty station is, I informed Mr. Askew that wherever I am weather it be overseas of in another state, I will not purchase a BMW unless it is from him at BMW of silver spring and have it shipped. I highly recommend Mr. Askew to anyone looking to purchase a BMW you will not be disappointed at all and you will receive service that beyond extraordinary. Thank you Mr. Ron Askew!

The team at Silver Spring is impressive; so much better than any other BMW dealership I've been to. Everyone there is smiling and glad to help as you walk through. Mainly I was in touch with Dave Strassman for my lease; a family member referred me to him. Dave is the most dedicated and dependable salesperson I've ever worked with. He made my lease experience easy and fast, saving me a lot of time by being available via phone and email. He's super responsive and goes out of his way to make clients happy. When I came to pick up my shiny new X1 it was perfectly detailed and waiting for me. Dave took the time to show me how all the features worked and was patient with my endless questions such as "what does this button do?" I recommend to everyone that they should go to BMW of Silver Spring and always ask for Dave!

Excellent Hassle Free Car Purchase Experience
I live in Virginia but came all the way to Silver Spring dealer since I didn't have a good experience with another BMW dealer in Virginia. The staff are very friendly and not pushy. My advisor Karen Herbert was very professional and listened carefully as to what options i'm looking at and what I am interested in. Although i had some constraints in terms of color, model and financial aspect she managed to work things out for me and made sure I'm being taken care of and will step out of her office with happy face. She was very calm and helpful even during negotiation on price. She was very flexible and discussed an affordable financing option which was the best fit for me. There was a bit of waiting time at the end with their accounting office which I blame it on busyness of end of the year. It was worth the wait and if you are in the market to get a BMW this is the place to go!

I have been receiving outstanding services from this dealership for over five years now and my most heartfelt conclusion is that this dealership is professional, service oriented, fair and friendly. Every time I would rather travel 40 miles than choosing any other that is physically closer to me, because Silver Spring dealership DOES make a huge difference. So as expected, my vehicle purchase experience yesterday with my agent David Davila was superb. David was extremely knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and respectful. Desirea Jackson was a delight to work with. From the beginning of meeting her, she was attentive and completely listened to my preferences (i.e. price #1, the conveniences I was looking for, and options) for a car. We sat down at her desk and she began to ask a few questions, pull information on the car I was interested in, the car fax, and gave me an introduction to the BMW line so that I could have a sense of how BMW cars may stack up to the Mercedes I was eyeing as well. I felt almost as if I was in a BMW 101 class! In a few short minutes, I learned more about BMWs and its various models than I ever would scouring the web in the same amount of time. She made me feel comfortable enough that I decided to test drive the car and she even presented me the opportunity to test drive several other cars as a comparison. While on the test drive, she continued to introduce options, conveniences, the technology and the performance on the car. I was really impressed by her overall presentation and her invested interest to know so many details about certain BMW cars inside and out. This type of display, certainly let me know as a customer know....that she takes take pride in the product she was selling and not just solely focused on a sale. I did not purchase the car immediately as I wanted a day or two to decide. I must admit, I had Mercedes-Benz separation issues...lol. I was a long time MB car owner (actually my last 3 cars)...but working with Desirea help me in making the decision to switch. And, good decision it was! I love my new ride. During the time before deciding to buy, she remained responsive and promptly available to answer any questions that I had during that time (via phone, text and email)...and believe me, there were plenty! When it came to making the actual purchase, she was commendable in her efforts and BMW Silver Spring was very fair in accepting the offer and price I gave them. It was a very relaxed car buying experience and her GM (Steve and Allen) were helpful in meeting my needs and completing the deal. I truly walked from their establishment feeling like a valued customer and I love my new 5 Series!
