First Time Buyer

First Time Buyer Before walking into Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue, I felt I was way out of my league. I thought in the back of my mind, I don't really deserve my dream car. However, once I was greeted by the manager David, that thought immediately disappeared along with the other negative self thoughts. The entire staff made me feel like I belonged there. I have purchased cars from dealers before, however I can honestly say, this was the most pleasant, seamless and stress-free experience I've had. My salesperson, Lorenzo Johnson, was professional and personable which helped set my mind at ease. He was very knowledgeable about the cars, store processes and extremely accommodating. Clearly, he is management material. The finance process was quick and easy. Every step was explained in details. Again, stress-free. I am loving the driving the experience of finally owning my dream car. It has been a year now since joining the Mercedes-Benz ownership family and my maintenance Associate, Matt Harris, is very experienced, courteous, considered and knowledgeable. I am always offered a loaner car if needed. My car is ready when promised. Loving the extended warranty coverage. Thank you, Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue you just earned a new customer for life! Strange noise

They couldn’t fine it but right after I leave I heard again , my tire pressure is low and I saw the tire was peeling but they told me they have all over inspection but wonder why they didn’t see it

Little to no communication

Made an appointment for scheduled maintenance and a few other minor things a week in advance for a day where I did not need my car. Dropped it off at 10:20 on Thursday and the next thing I heard was a text at 3:42 telling me that they hadn't even started yet. I texted back at 6:06 and never received a response. The next time I heard back it was 2:02 the next day (Friday) when they said it was done but recommended that I have my leaking head gaskets replaced. I agreed as long as they could guarantee me that I would have it back by the close of business Saturday because I needed the car every day the following week. I received zero communication until I called them at 5:41 on Saturday. Picked up the car, and the check engine light came on Sunday when they were closed. Tried to call several times starting at 7:00 Monday morning, finally getting through at 7:11 and made arrangements to bring it back about 3:00 that afternoon, when it was finally fixed for good (I hope). Oh well, at least I got about 10 emails reminding me of the appointment *I made* ahead of time, and have received another 5 afterward, I guess?

Bad experience

This was my fourth year of service here and I am not coming back. They itemized 'washing the car' in my receipt but did not do it. They also didn't diagnose the carbon and water deposit in the valve due to the faulty air injection pump (which they diagnosed). Overall, poor job in customer service and attention to detail. I will not return again and I recommend everyone to stay away.

What a mess!

Auto nation of Bellevue Mercedes ask for a review so here it is. I have done business with Barrier Motors for a long time! Their service was impeccable! The service department always paid attention to detail and you knew when you dropped your car off it would come back in working order with everything fixed. I brought my car in to have the a air condition and radio looked at. After 5 days in the shop I was told "there was a short in the car and now the A/c is fixed but the radio needs replacing" When I went to pick up my car the battery was dead! The Key fob will not work if the battery is dead and no one knew how to open the car with the little key that come out of the key fob. Finally, Jerome (he is amazing and the only competent person there... former Barrier personnel ) went out to my car used the key and it worked. The car still had the plastic on the seats and the car was dirty. No one knew why the car was dead. Jerome told me to go home and the techs would look at it in the morning. He gave me a nice key chain for my troubles. I called Tim Willard who I had been dealing with. He told me he didn't know why it happened, but they charged the car and it's working fine now. I said I'm not picking my car up until you know why the battery died in the first place. The next day Tim told me it was a fuse that drained my battery. I told him I would be in later to pick my car up. Then I receive a call from John Geraci the service manager asking that I return the loaner car, because they have promised it to other people. I called him directly told him the story and that I would be in after my daughter was released from the doctor (she had fallen down stair and we were at urgent care) she needed stitches. That was at 5:00. John said i could return the car in the morning if it was easier considering what happened to my daughter. That was nice , but I said no I will bring it back tonight. My daughter was released at 7:30 and I live about 25 minutes away from the dealership so I called to make sure they had my car ready and waiting. When I called I realized the service department was closed. I called back to make sure I could still get it. I spoke to a sales person named John who was very kind. No one was able to find my key and it was still locked up. John the service manager had given me his cell phone so I called him to find out what was going on... he said he didn't think I would come after the service closed..... um I called around 5 and my daughter still hadn't been seen... you do the math! So I stayed calm and said no problem I'll come tomorrow at 7:30 pm please have my key out. He said "I will insure you it will be out" I showed up at 7:30 pm and the key was not left out. I guess he asked Tim Willard to do it and Tim forgot. So, after about 30 min a nice lady said she was able to get my key and I was on my way...... it was 85 degrees out side so I went to turn on my A/c and guess what!!!!! Yep you guessed it... it didn't work. When I spoke to service they said it was working... then John called and said service didn't know they needed to fix it. With all that said they did refund my diagnostic service... so if you choose to use them beware... it's not what it use to be. I'm moving on.

Service repair without parts

My wife and I stopped in on a Saturday to see if the service department had time to do a recall repair. They asked us to bring the vehicle back on Monday and scheduled a time for us. When I showed up it took some time to find our service manager. Once they located Chris he check me in and asked if I would be staying with the vehicle or if I needed a lift home. I asked for the timeline of the repair and after being told it would be a few hours I elected to take the shuttle home. It took several calls to find a shuttle service, to be honest everyone seemed to be a bit out of place (might be the construction). I went home and after a couple of hours got a text that the repair was completed. That text was immediately followed by another one saying they were unable to complete the repair. I texted back asking for a ride and they sent me a number but no one answered. Once I arrived at the dealership I tried to locate our service advisor Chris but I wasn’t able to. One of the other advisors tried to locate him be he was also unable to. The new advisor was instructed to get me checked out. The new advisor asked how my service was and I brought up the fact that they didn’t complete it because they didn’t have the parts. He then said they had run out of oil filters... Our recall repair was for a seatbelt. When I corrected him he informed me that those parts hadn’t even shipped to the warehouse that they get the parts from. Odd that they would send out a recall notice and book an appointment without even having access to the parts. I signed my paperwork and was told the car would be pulled around the front. I waited for about 20-25 minutes before finding the same advisor and asking if the car was being pulled around, he said yes and just to wait out front. I was then flagged down by another gentleman who showed me where my car was and gave me the key. All in all it felt nothing like a Mercedes dealership service, they seemed complete out of sorts. Again this could be the construction and this is my first time at this dealership because we just moved to the area from Portland but I definitely wouldn’t go back if I didn’t need to.

Horrible. Stay away

I had the worst experience at Mercedes Benz of Bellevue. I came in for a scheduled recall service. This was scheduled over 1 week ago. When I come in there, a rude service manager talks with me, then your manager on the floor arrives and calms the situation down, apologizes and assigns a new service manager to work with me. 6-7 hours later, I get a message stating that my car is ready, but NO WORK HAS BEEN DONE. When I arrive there, I get a reason that the part was incorrect. This was scheduled over a WEEK AGO, and you still couldn't get the right part? And then, I was told, that they will follow up in a weeks time once they get the right part for the recall -- NOTHING TILL DATE. I think my vehicle was intentionally handled poorly, and it took you 6-7 hours to figure that the part was incorrect. Very POOR service, I did not expect this as a Mercedes-Benz customer. Please improve your service, and keep to your promises.

Worst purchase ever.

I bought a brand new 2015 C300 from this dealership, and that was a big mistake. My experience on the day I bought the car was good, but later I found many issues with the new car. Here is a list of the issues: The car was manufactured more than 1 year ago and never got serviced. I got a warning that the car is 29 passed due the service. I picked up the car with a full tank, so I didn't have to put fuel in the car, after 10 days i discovered that the fuel cap lanyard is broken, and whoever put fuel in the car at the dealership never bother telling me about this, or report it. The driver window wasn't sealed correctly, and I had to replace the seal. Backup camera cover doesn't close. Driver seat speaker doesn't work. I assumed that all C300 are 4Matic, and I was wrong, and when I saw the sales guy when I had my car serviced, I told that I though it's 4Matic, he was surprised that it's not, and he apologized for not asking me about this ahead of time. The dealer offered to get these things fixed cause the car is still brand new which is good. The problem is that I bought a new car so that I don't have to deal with maintenance and fixing issues with used cars, but I ended up scheduling 3 appointments to get these fixed.

Litany of errors

This is the ongoing list of reasons why I would NOT recommend MB Bellevue. We purchased a pre-owned (supposedly) certified GL550. -The car had been reserved by someone else. Even though two salespeople knew we were interested in this vehicle (or vehicles with similar specs) we were not contacted when it became available again. I found out through an online search. -We were told MB Bellevue uses 1price so there is no negotiation and every potential customer is given the same price for the vehicle. Yet when this one came back on the market it was listed as several thousand dollars less than price previously quoted. -When we went to see and test drive the car it had not been cleaned or detailed even though it had been on the lot for several days. -The service records showed that the back brake pads needed replacing but the inspection report had not picked this up. When we pointed this out, MB Bellevue reinspected the pads and replaced them. We left the car at the dealership for 3 days for everything to be addressed properly. When we picked the car up it had not been filled with gas and after we took it home and drove it we found out that: -One of the back seat heaters would turn itself off and sometimes wouldn't come on -The nightview assist didn't work -MBrace had not been reprovisioned -There was a cut in the leather on the center console that we had pointed out and were told would be fixed. It was not. -The adjustable steering was not working correctly We took the car back for these things to be fixed. It's not clear why they weren't fixed BEFORE the car was sold. My husband noticed vibration in the steering wheel when driving at freeway speeds. All the tired were brand new when we picked up the car and when my husband called about the vibration, MB Bellevue said they suspect it's because the wheel had not been balanced. My husband made an appointment to take it in this morning and when he arrived there was no loaner car available. He was told our car would be ready for pick up at 4:00pm today. He received a call at around 3:55pm saying that it was not ready with no reason given for the delay. Even though he spoke to the Service Manager when he dropped the car off this morning, MB Bellevue still continues to disappoint. They're supposed to call once this latest issue has been fixed. Based on all of this, I would strongly advise going to another MB dealership for purchasing and servicing.

The staff was courteous. But I had to wait longer than expected for my loaner even though I had an appointment. Other than the recommended service I had one other issue. I was told it was taken care of. But the problem still exists and I have to call them again. So not too thrilled with the service as of now.

I bought a new MY 17 S Class Coupe from Heru Tarjoto at Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue. From my first visit, Heru was great. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. He was able to answer all my questions, provided a good review of the S63 AMG and its key features, and made my test drive fun. In everything he did, Heru was prompt and helpful. We placed the custom order and Heru kept me up-to-date over the next few months as the car was built and shipped to the US. Delivery was smooth and both Heru and the dealership did everything right. It was a very good experience end-to-end and I'm delighted with the outcome. I'll refer friends and I will buy my next MB from Heru at Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue.
