I bought a new 2018 Rav 4 from Lustine Toyota in Woodbridge Virginia. I had the most friendliest salesperson name Jhon Rodriguez JR. Just awesome. He helped me select a Rav 4 that is outstanding and one that I loved. He was very patient, detailed in explaining the features on the vehicle and he made sure all my questions were answered. My finance manager Harry was very good at handling my concerns. He did and outstanding job getting me finance for my new truck. I applaud you Lustine staff, thank you very much. Way to go.

I bought a new 2018 Rav 4 from Lustine Toyota in Woodbridge Virginia. I had the most friendliest salesperson name Jhon Rodriguez JR. Just awesome. Overall a very mixed experience.

I bought a previously owned 2015 Lexus from Lustine Toyota. My sales person was very personal and professional as was the finance manager. Unfortunately, the car failed MD State Inspection for 2 items (an air filter and the left rear strut was leaking). When I called Lustine to bring the car back to resolve these 2 issues, I was bounced back and forth from service, to parts, back to service and finally the used car manager. Ultimately, Lustine replaced the air filter but would not cover the cost to repair the strut. So I've made an appt with a local MD dealership. I paid $100 for the inspection which is not an issue, but I have to pay another $30+ to have it reinspected since it failed (I feel Lustine should have covered this expense). In addition, I naively assumed the car came with carpet floor mats (it only had all weather mats) and a second key but it didn't so I spent about $400 to purchase carpet floor mats, and a 2nd key which had to be programmed. I've learned a couple lessons. One make no assumptions and ask many more seemingly trivial questions about the car. And two only buy from a dealership that sells that brand car (meaning even though Toyota manufactures Lexus buy from a Lexus dealership).

Worst Customer Service Experience

I was looking for a vehicle and I was trying to reach the same salesman who helped me at Lustine Toyota who helped me before but since I forgot his name, I called in and was transferred to another guy Brandon Bently and he told me the other guy doesn't work there anymore. (which was a lie because when I went in there, the other guy was there). I went in this morning and Brandon found another worker named Jonathan to work with me, but due to the low trade in value I didn't make the purchase ( They offered me $2000 but Carmax gave me $4500 later). Even with the low trade in, I wanted to make the purchase so I called them again and Brandon spoke to me very rudely saying the only way for me to get a deal is if I come in because they are all very busy. I told him to transfer me to someone else but he didn't and when I told him he can't hold me like that he transferred me to Jonathan. After several calls and back and forth Jonathan offered me $24000 and when I went in the dealership , Brandon showed up and said he will do $24380. When I asked him to send Jonathan he became extremely rude, when I asked for his Manager, he said he is the boss, even though he was not. he threw his business card on my face in front of my 13 year old son, who is very disturb after this incident. Then Jonathan showed up and requested me to wait even though I wanted to leave but made me wait for an hour and didn't showed up. Because of waiting I missed the other dealership that was offering me $24000. Then when I saw Jonathan and asked him what's going on he said they can't do the deal. I finally found out Amin was their boss and he was worst than Brandon, I told him I was not very happy with the customer service and he said he is happy to hear that. When I told him that I was promised 24000 on phone, he said his sales man who how to work( he was calling me a liar) I asked him to listen to the call, he denied to do that. First Brandon then Amin denied that they have any bosses and Amin said his bosses name is Amin. That was the worst customer service experience I had. Because of all this that I failed to make any purchase because the other dealership was closed by then. The worst part of this experience was that it was all happening in front of my son. I took him to the dealership so he can return home with a nice car but he returned with bad memories.

I just bought a certified pre-owned Toyota Corolla iM at Lustine and I am still floored by how easy it was and how kind and thoughtful everyone I worked with was as well, from the sales lady Kacia Hallitburton to the finance manager Delma Cueto who worked hard to get me the best rate and terms, and everyone in between. They bent over backwards to make it possible for me to drive my car home just a short time later. Much better than previous experiences. Those folks work hard!

Great Experience with Lustine Sales Consultant

I had an outstanding experience with Lustine Toyota sales consultant Jeramy Routh. He did a great job of explaining all the features and options of the 2018 Toyota Camry. Then he accompanied me on a test drive of a new Camry. After I drove the vehicle and got comfortable with its basic features, feel and response, Jeramy got behind the wheel and demonstrated many of the new electronic safety features of the vehicle. This was most helpful, as it would have been very difficult for me to operate many of these features while still trying to get comfortable with driving a new vehicle. The whole experience was very informative and helpful to me in deciding which features I wanted in a new vehicle. Jeramy's winning personality and low-pressure sales approach helped seal the deal and put me behind the wheel of a new car that met all my needs and expectations.

Bad Business

I came to the dealership October 5th. I called the dealership inquiring about the 2012 Mazda CX-7. I currently drive one now except mine is a 2007. I spoke to Gabe Maxi. He gave me instructions on filling out the online credit app. I got approved and continued conversing with him about the vehicle. He guaranteed me approval with no money down and also assured me money in my pocket after I traded my vehicle along with a fully gassed vehicle for the drive home. I drove over 2hrs. 117 miles one way to be exact to be told that the approval that was given was to another Person with the exact same name and there was nothing they could do for me. It really left a bitter taste in my mouth towards Lustine and I honestly feel something should be done to insure things like this doesn't happen again. I understand the legal ramifications of giving credit info over the phone which is the reason for the online credit app system but if there is an issue with the system or it's just a thing to get more people in the door and more cars off the lot the expense of the customer should be taken under consideration. Especially when traveling this type of distance. For a dealer that has been in the business since the 80's a lot or the routine protocol was never given. Questions like (can you put money down?) or ( is it possible to get a co-signer). I've been purchasing cars for year and have done so in many different ways. This has been by far the worst experience I have had in all my years of buying cars. I'm really disappointed with lustine toyota
