Debbie is an amazing sales woman!! When I came up to the dealership, she has already had my vehicle all clean and shiny, gas tank full to the brim, and ready to go down the road! She showed us everything on this vehicle it had to offer while on the test drive. When we were done with the test drive, she had all our paperwork ready and before we knew it, we were signing papers. Signing all the paperwork with finance was so quick I couldn't believe it! I came in for a car and left with so much more! The staff here is one that is truly here for what the customer wants. If I was able to give more than 5 stars, I would! Thank you so much Debbie!
Great customer service
I just recently bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee from them. Im very happy with my purchase. Thanya the sales person was very friendly and kind, the whole process was easy. I would highly recommend them
Best Car-Buying Experience Ever!
Bought a GMC Terrain at Lindsay today and it was, without a doubt, my best car-buying experience ever. I was single-shooting the vehicle that I saw online, traveling a distance, and the opportunity was there for the manager (Rick) or salesman (Dustin) to play hardball. Instead, they (and two others I dealt with there) turned out to be very decent, hones, and helpful folks and I was more than pleased with the outcome. Really, I am not the cheerleader type but when a business shines like this one did, I am not afraid to say so. And I do say so.
Exceeded My Expectations
I get nervous buying cars. After several less than positive contacts with Washington DC based dealers, I found Lindsay by expanding my search area. This was the most satisfying car buying experience I have ever encountered in over 30 years of driving. No game playing...just quality customer service. It was well worth the drive! Thank you Dustin, Rick, and Brittany for making this a pleasant experience!
I purchased a 2017 GMC Acadia. My buying experience was great working with Debbie, Garan and Brittany! Debbie was patient, outgoing, down to earth, friendly and professional. She exceeded my expectations and very knowledgable! Thank you all so much!
We recently purchased a used car from Lindsay Buick/GMC dealership in Warrenton, VA. We met with Debbie Capasso to test drive the car for a day allowing us to test features and garage fit. When we went back to do the purchase paperwork, we also met with Garan Digges to discuss having some wear and tear scratches/scrapes fixed. This dealership could not have been more accommodating. Debbie stayed after working hours were officially over to help us get On-Star and Sirius radio free trials activated. Arrangements were also made for the scratches/scrapes buffing/repair. The car buying experience could not have been more pleasant because of the help of Debbie and Garan. We highly recommend this dealership for your next car purchase/service.

This was a failure to communicate with the customer about ALL problems concerning my car.
After my 2nd visit to your dealership I returned to my client's house where I was house and pet sitting. The next day, Sunday, I came out in the afternoon to start packing my car to leave this job and then head to another house and pet sitting job in Herndon, VA (about 54 miles away). To my shock I saw 2 large pools of fluid under my car. After I moved the car I saw smaller pools of fluid around the 2 large pools (I have a picture that I can send you if needed).
Due to the failure/negligence of GMC employees to notify me about the oil leak on Saturday, I didn't take the car to a self-service car wash to properly clean up under the car and/or to put plastic down on the driveway of my client's house. The result is a mess on my client's driveway. Almost 5 hours at your dealership over 2 days and I still had major problems with my car. I call this a major failure. Now it's Sunday afternoon, no one is open to look at my car and I must make numerous phone calls to try and find out if the car is still drivable and whether I can make it to my next job 54 miles away. This caused considerable stress and anxiety as my Herndon client had already caught a flight and departed the state leaving her 2 pets in my care. Luckily, I got my car to Herndon but not without the stress and anxiety of wondering the whole way whether I would make it or get stranded out on an interstate at almost 11 PM.

Monday morning, March 12, 2018, I called your dealership and spoke with General Manager Danny Niblett and explained all the problems and failures. A mechanic was then sent all the way up to my location to pick up my car and drop off a loaner.

NOTE: I was extremely disappointed with the mechanic sent to pick up my car. First, he wasn't properly prepared as he went to check the oil level in my car and cleaned the oil dipstick with his fingers and then was going to get into my car and drive it away. I gave the mechanic some antibacterial hand wipes to clean his hands before he got in my car. Second, the mechanic dumped a paper cup and trash from the loaner car plus a dirty quart size motor oil container on my passenger side floor mat (it would have been more professional to have placed those items in the trunk of my car). Third, the mechanic didn't bring a protective car seat cover or a paper/protective floor mat to protect my car from his dirty uniform. This unprofessionalism left a major negative impression on me.

Tuesday, March 13, 2018, after not hearing from the dealership about the status of my vehicle since they drove it back to the dealership the previous day, I called and the gentleman who answered the service phone said the service manager had stepped out for about a half hour and would call me when he returned. When I didn't get a call back after over an hour and a half I called back and spoke with Service Advisor Jeff Carson who informed me more repairs would be done on my car. The repairs done: 4020140 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Replacement.

Wednesday, March 14, 2018, Jeff Carson had told me the previous day that my car would be returned today and that someone from the dealership would call me around 9-10 AM and give me a heads-up when the mechanic was leaving to return my car to Herndon. At 9:40 AM the phone rang and it was the mechanic outside of the residence I was staying at. This was yet another failure to properly communicate with the customer.
I inspected my car after the mechanic left with the loaner car and ended up having to wash my soiled car seat cover and driver side floormat which had grease and grime on it (probably from the trip down to Warrenton on Monday when the mechanic didn't come prepared with a protective car seat cover and floor mat). I can provide a photo of the extremely dirty protective floor mat from the dealership that was covered in grease and grime and some sticky substance when the car was returned to me.

In closing I would like to point out a few positives. The GMC employees I spoke with at the dealership and over the phone were courteous and professional. And after I spoke with Jeff Carson on Tuesday and explained my aforementioned complaints reference the mechanic that picked up my car on Monday and drove it back to the dealership, the dealership tried to make things right by returning my car washed and detailed.
After I get the opportunity to review dashcam footage from my car I may need to amend this complaint.
Please contact me with any questions you may have.
Sincerely, Michael Bean
I was extremely pleased with the service I received. My car's 'service engine soon' light came on and would not go off. The engine sounded terrible. It had been operating just fine that morning. I left work and drove it straight to Lindsay. The Service Dept. was still open and they could not have been nicer. They even arranged to give me a 'loaner' vehicle so I could get to work the next day. My vehicle was repaired for what I felt was a very reasonable price. Thank you so much.
Great people, professionalism, and service
If you're wondering whether the positive reviews are an honest and accurate representation of what you'll experience, I'll tell you, they are! We were drawn because of the reviews and the folks here delivered. Aaron was exceptional in his professionalism, respect, and concern for our needs. Never was there any pushy sales pitch or shady sales trick. Honest, open, and straightforward was our experience from start to finish. Aaron worked hard for our business, and more importantly, to meet our needs. Jen went above and beyond to work her financing magic to get us the best rates and allow us to stay within our budget. Jen personalized the buying process, making us feel welcome, comfortable, and casual. Many laughs were had. Together, Aaron, Jen, and manager Garan managed to have us leaving in a nicer, newer car than we had intended, again, within our proposed budget! I have every confidence in the deal we reached and couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. If you are looking for a car and place a premium on quality of service, then make the trip out to Warrenton. You won't regret it for a second!
We've been using this dealership for service on our Buicks for a number of years, and this is the second vehicle we've purchased there. We like the very personal attention we get from all the staff.
Needed a used truck badly
Despite the amenities the larger Lindsay dealerships offer in the lounge area, while you wait, the personnel working the Warrenton Lindsay Buick GMC by far make up for the difference. The other day my truck, Dodge Dakota, Crew cab, V8, AWD/4X4, died on me. Living in the country you are at a lose without a pickup. So I ventured out by myself to see what the market would bear. My first encounter with a Sales Consultant at Lindsay was Debbie Capasso. She is very welcoming and comfortable to be around. I explained everything I expected to be able meet my needs regarding a 4X4. Debbie showed me one that was close to what I wanted but it just was off one particular option, I thought I had to have. Being very courteous she took notes on my wish list and claimed she would make some calls. I left to try other dealerships. With my wife with me on my second attempt to purchase a 4X4, I tried other dealerships with negative results. The main reason they were negative results is due the fact the Sales Consultants were negative. It was as if my wife and I were an imposition in their day. For reasons not to be as negative as they, I wonât mention them by name but they were two MAJOR dealers in Warrenton, Toyota/Dodge, and not just road side car dealers in a parking lot. Thank goodness a professional dealership, Lindsay, is in Warrenton. I returned to Lindsay and started looking again, but this time my list had to be modified no one really has an AWD option. Immediately we were meet by Johnny Smith another sale consultant, smiling and as he extended his hand welcoming us to Lindsay and how can he help. I told him we had already spoke with Debbie and he quickly said she will be back very soon from lunch. Due my wife's earlier frustration with other dealerships she stated sorry but we will now be dealing with you. She understandably had lost patience and didn't want to wait nothing against Debbie. I told Johnny what I was looking for, my list now shorter, and he showed me a range of options. We picked a prospective 4X4 with the provision it would tackle my properties rough terrain and step gravel driveways without spinning and without the aid of the 4X4 deployed. A 2014 Toyota Tundra passed the test and off it was to seal the deal. Once we got back I saw Debbie and immediately explained what had transpired in her absence. Debbie is to polite for words and understood saying wouldn't you know it the only time she took a lunch break and I would show up. She went on to say Johnny's a great guy and was pleased he was there to assist us. My wife loves making a deal regarding buying vehicles. She had Johnny back and forth to the manager working numbers and options. My next encounter with another extremely polite professional was with the General Sales Manager Rick Foard. Very personable, kind, mater of factly and smiling. He came out of the office with an extremely great cut in price form the internet's price and as well offered to meet my additional wants regarding the truck within the same bottom line price. Oh hell yea, we bought. Besides being a great deal Rick had the entire truck detailed prior to our taking it off the lot. It looked as if it just rolled off the production line in 2014. To end this elongated critique I would reiterate the fact that the Lindsay professional staff of Warrenton is as comparable to the great professionals of the cities of Fairfax and Alexandria, both of which i'd had dealings with. Thanks to all that made the deal a reality. Mac
Previously owned car purchase
Trina, Rick, and Garan were wonderful to work with. Never felt any of the usual car dealer pressure or run around. They allowed me to take the car to another dealer for an inspection and adjusted the price based on the findings. I would definitely purchase (new or used) from them again.
Excellent truck buying experience!!!
I recently purchased a 2017 GMC Canyon Denali and I must say I am nothing but pleased with the vehicle as well as the staff at Lindsay. Everyone I worked with made me feel as though I was their priority. They were always quick to respond to my emails. They gave me top dollar on my trade in. I definitely recommend checking them out!
Awesome Used Truck Buying Experience!
I found a used truck that I was interested in and made an inquiry online to the dealership. I was contacted promptly by a sales rep (Russell) to confirm that the truck was still available and to assure me that my ~1 hour drive to the dealership would be worth my time...and he was right. Russell and the sales manager (Garan) were very easy to work with, very knowledgeable, professional and kept their word that my time would be well spent. They made me a deal I couldn't pass up on the truck I was interested in and gave me a very fair trade-in allowance for my much older pickup. Russell and Garan were great to deal with and I'd highly recommend that anyone interested in a new or used vehicle to go see these two you won't be disappointed!! Thanks again guys.

New Owner Same good people
Lindsay recently bought out Jim Harris' Buick GMC dealership but most of the staff remains the same. I just had the pleasure of buying my 6th Buick from the dealership. If you are looking for a new Buick or GMC and live anywhere near Warrenton VA I highly recommend your ask for Russ Meadows. He has sold me every one of my 6 vehicles. He is very personable and knows his cars and will help you every step of the way. He wants the customers to be happy and will go out of his way to make it happen. Russ is a great guy and will spend as much time with you as you want/need. No high pressure and he will get you a deal you that makes both of you happy. D. May
Best people to deal with
I have purchased a few cars from Lindsay GMC and I would have a hard time going somewhere else. There's no pressure, they are up front and friendly. Being friendly doesn't end when you walk out the door!! Danny Niblett, Rick Foard, Russell Meadows are the best guys to work with I've know them for a long time. They treat you right. Sarah B in finance makes the final part painless and fun. New or used this is where I will always go.
The service dept lied to my salesman about replacing a defective battery on my 2016 LaCrosse. Two days later I had a dead car on my hands.
High Recommend Jim Harris GMC Pontiac Buick in Warrenton!
I came upon Jim Harris GMC through usedcars.com. I was in the market for a used Yukon XL. Garan Digges immediatly contacted me and listened to what I was looking for. We communicated efficiently over email and phone as this dealership is about 45 minutes from my home. Just when I thought he wouldn't be able to meet my needs, he contacted me with a vehicle that exceeded my expectations. He provided a fair price that didn't require haggling, over the phone loan pre-approval and within a few hours, my new SUV was marked with my name for pick-up 2 days later. When I arrived 2 days later, the SUV was ready for me - I was greeted with a smile by Jim Harris himself, who treated me as if he'd known me for years. I can't tell you how impressed I was with the entire, easy process - kudos to Garan, Richard (the GM) and Jim - you've earned a customer for life! I love my new Yukon XL!!!
Excellent Experience - 5 Stars
I purchased a 2009 G8 GT on February 28th. I had been looking for a replacement for my BMW 540 for about a year and had worked with Audi, BMW, Hyundai, Lexus, and other Pontiac dealerships. My salesman, Garan Digges, was very knowledgeable about his products and made a fine presentation. The GM, Rick Foard, was very friendly and gave a good price and trade in for my old car without any excessive haggling or pressure. Some other dealerships made me feel like a pink pork chop in the piranha pond when I walked in using all kinds of tricks to try to get to buy and give them bigger profits. Examples included the color I wanted was somehow $1,500 more than the same model and equipment in stock with a different color, calling about "appointments" (that I had never made) that I had missed, & calls and emails for at least 4 different people at the dealership. Somewhat out of the way and they do not advertise heavily. Well worth the trip. Bottom line: Easy to deal and a very fair price. They really want you to come back again. I definitely will for my next car. My daughter was so impressed that she bought a 2009 Pontiac Vibe from them the next month.
