2014 Leaf SV

byLeaf2014on 08/19/2017

Our Nissan Leaf SV has been an absolutely wonderful and fun car. Although we were initially skeptical about EVs we could not be more happy. The Leaf is our everyday commuting around town car. It fits our family of four, is perfect for living in the NOVA/DC bubble, and we even use it road tripping to philly. The crew at Priority Tysons were fantastic. The salesman and management addressed all types of questions and concerns patiently and professionally. Absolute outstanding customer service and the easiest/best purchase we have made.

BUYER BEWARE: SCAM

byNISSANPRIORITYon 03/02/2017

BUYER BEWARE. SCAM. Dealer fraud. Was pushed to get Gap insurance. When I called my insurance carrier and found out it was pennies on the dollar and not the dealerships $950. I was told if I did not use dealership GAP Capital One would raise my interest rate 1%. After I signed the contract the next day I knew this couldn't be true. Maybe Capital one was evil. I told them I've never needed it before. I have sub-par credit so I was at the mercy of Priority Nissan. Don't 'bother talking to the Sales manager. As he is only good at sighting what he is and is not responsible for as a sales manager. "Once you go into finance I'm not responsible for what happens". Same goes for Service. Both Sales and service manager obviously took the same Priority Nissan training. Service stated he is only responsible for state inspection and changing oil. The fact my car is leaking oil was irrelevant to what he was responsible for after the car is sold. He actually said if it's not a Nissan than how would he know how to properly do the job. I had to actually sternly ask him to change the oil again. There is much more all the way to the Finance director that refused to look at me or talk to me. One Finance manager did acknowledge what happened was wrong but he was the only one. The sale manager came into meeting and said I'm not canceling the contract. You can cancel the gap. Yes, I can but it's written in the contract and the contract would have to be rewritten. Positive I've learned a lot about Dealership's and what they will do to seal the deal. Jaded but realize that not all dealerships are fraudulent.

BAD Customer Service

byjasonpicon 07/12/2016

How hard is customer service? I've been leasing Nissans & Infinitis for the past decade. I leased my most recent through Passport in Alexandria (great service) but live closer to Priority. I call Priority last night and ask if I can turn my lease in. The manager says "sure just come on in anytime". So....fast forward to today. I take the day off to turn it in this morning. I show up early @ 930. Go in and am directed to the gruff manager sitting on his perch. I ask to turn in my lease. He says without looking up "make an appointment". I state that I was told to just come in. His response "they're wrong". Um.. ""They're" is your dealership. Think he would have asked if I want to continue leasing with them...nope. Maybe purchase....nope. Well Nissan, after a decade I am saying good bye. I want to be treated like a customer and with a semblance of respect. So, moral of the story. Go to Passport in Alexandria. They gave me a great deal on the lease and would probably do the same again. But I'm out Nissan. Manager: Grey hair, glasses, Caucasian, works AM on Tuesdays. Avoid.
