Fixed one issue, but damaged smthg else! & It's on me?!
Incompetent technicians, over-inflated prices, poor communication, bad customer service. Other than they do offer the free loaner service that was convenient, I would not recommend their service. I left my car for a wire adjustment in the front panel, but they damaged my radio reception, and not only they didnt want to take responsibility- they wanted to overcharge me 300% on the diagnosing fee alone, then, charge me additionally to fix a problem they generated. While we picked up the car from the first service (wire in the front panel), we noticed that the radio no longer worked. Their rep mentioned that we can drop it later-which we did. However, they were really slow at communicating the status. I had to call them at the end of two consecutive days to find out the status of the repair. On day 3, we went there and the manager said that they would charge us $600 to diagnose the problem with the radio, but offered to lower it to $300-since he understood, that it was not our fault. Guess what?? The actual diagnosis fee at any Audi dealer is $149!! Which means that his discounted rate is over inflated from the regular rate. These people are just scammers. Their technicians damaged my cars radio, and not only they want to charge me for repairing it, but they want to charge me 300% the regular diagnosis fee! Be careful at dropping your Audi Tysons for any service, because they might damage something else to have you back and charge you for it- or I must say overcharge for it. It's so frustrating! I paid their prices before-I don't care! as long as I'm promised a good service. But this experience has been awful! The customer should not be responsible for something they damage.
Top Notch Dealer
The experience at Audi of Tysons Corner was fantastic from start to finish. Everything from the purchase of the car, to service appointments, and the overall process was top notch. Christopher Ross was a delight to work with, always available to answer questions, and consistently showed he had MY best interests in mind. Anytime I need a car, this will be my first stop, no question. This dealership and Christopher in particular, epitomizes what the experience should be when.
We replaced our 10-year old A4 Cabriolet with a brand new one. The new model is even better, smarter, and more powerful. love it. The service was wonderful. Chris Ross kept us informed of each milestone and our car arrived from Germany a whole month ahead of schedule. The buying process was completely hassle free. Highly recommend it.
Great Place to Buy a Nice Used Car
I purchased a 2005 BMW Z4 2.5i from Audi of Tysons and it was probably the most pleasurable purchase of an automobile I've ever experienced. My salesman, Mo A, was a real gentleman and a pleasure to work with. Even though I was purchasing a used car - and not a terribly expensive one - I was treated incredibly well. No pressure to buy all the add-ons, but, despite the low mileage, it is a BMW and expensive to repair, so I did purchase an extended warranty Never expected to buy such a nice car at such a fair price anywhere in the DC area - definitely worth the drive and tell Mo that Randy recommends him highly!
Great Purchasing Experience
Recently worked with Chris R. to purchase a new Audi- I highly recommend him to anyone considering buying an Audi. Answers all of your questions, explains everything clearly, detail oriented, extremely helpful in finding the right car that meets your needs (from options to pricing), considerate of your time, and very friendly. Possibly the best car-buying experience you'll have around here.
Great place to buy a great car
I spent more than three hours with Chris R going over all the details on an Audi Q5 that attracted my interest. I came to look at the Q5 with no intention to buy. Chris was very patient and knew a lot about the car. Chris gave me all the time I wanted. There was no rushing and no haste to break away for another customer. I enjoyed my experience with Chris and Audi of Tysons Corner so much, I decided to buy the car I spent hours looking at with Chris.
Pleasant /Stress Free Car Buying Experience
I recently went to Audi Tysons for a test drive and Chris R. helped me pick out a car for a test drive and he explained all the different features and answered all the questions. I went back few days later and we picked out the exact car with the options I wanted and my color preference. He offered a great deal and the whole experience was quick and stress free. Chris was courteous, friendly and professional throughout the process. He then introduced me to Roma who explained in detail the benefits of leasing vs buying. I highly recommend seeing Chris if you are looking to buy an Audi.
Excellent Service; Thank you Chris!
I recently purchased an Audi A6 at the Tysons Corner location. I am beyond impressed with the customer service I received. Chris R. helped me with my purchase and was outstanding! He was professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and personable. He made the sales process both efficient and quick as possible. His honesty and helpfulness made this the best car buying experience I have ever had. If you are going to buy an Audi, you need to go to Chris and you will not be disappointed. An overall great experience- I highly recommend working with Chris!
An extraordinarily pleasant car buying experience
I purchased an Audi A4 from Audi of Tyson's Corner and was frankly shocked that I actually walked away a from a car buying experience as a satisfied customer with a highly positive impression. The buying process was efficient, and the salesperson--Chris R.--was highly professional and worked with me in a friendly, consultive manner. Having done considerable research prior to visiting the dealership, I had a decent understanding of pricing in my region of the country and was surprised at the great price that was offered to kick off negotiations. Overall, I would rate my experience as exceptional.
I love the service department at Audi of Tysons. The whole team is friendly and accommodating. They are always accurate and I couldn't be more pleased. I love when the time comes to take my car serviced, thats what they've done for me. They've been able to turn an errand into a pleasant day.
The only dealer I'll buy from
My experience with Audi of Tysons was prodigious, I couldn't be more delighted. The company is able to provide its customers with a pleasant stress free occasion. The company and staff are genuine and it made me feel very relaxed and happy to be there. I felt like I had stopped by an old friend's house to grab a cup of coffee and catch up. They are very professional while being able to provide great energy. I had been car shopping around for about a month alone, as younger lady, and the first time purchasing on my own. Other dealerships made me feel uncomfortable with the "car buying ordeal" and a little anxious. Honestly, I was semi traumatized until.... I had the amazing Audi of Tysons Experience! I'm forever going to purchase my vehicles here. I wish I had known about the Audi Experience sooner. CHRIS R. was my specialist during my purchase with Audi of Tysons. HE IS AMAZING. I had first contacted him via phone about a used vehicle I had seen online. He was easy going, professional, and able to knowledgeably answer every question I had. I was first dazzled when he asked if I would be available to answer my phone in the next 15 minutes. He wanted to personally inspect the inside and outside of the car himself and let me know if there was anything significant I should know about. He called me back promptly in the time frame and went into detail about the car to reassure my questions. I instantly had a good feeling that they were different, I knew I was going to end up buying a car from them and I needed to get to Tysons. I was curious and intrigued, I wanted to see what was going on up there. (I 'm about an hour and a half south of Tysons, out of excitement I turned it into an hour.) When I got there the car was parked out front waiting for me. The receptionist was friendly and had me take a seat while I waited for Chris R. He was assisting another customer and noticed me, he came by and greeted me. I happily and enjoyed a nice cup of coffee while I waited for him to finish up. When he was done we introduced ourselves and chatted for a bit. We went outside to take it for a test drive. Everything he had told me on the phone was true and accurate. This had reassured me and put me at ease, and we left for a test drive which went great! It was a fun 30 minute spin around the area. Chris R. is an awesome co-pilot. He is the most efficient multi-tasker I've ever met! I mean, I considered myself to be really good at it but I must admit he's the best. He gave me clear direction on when to turn, while explaining me the mechanics of the car as it was happening, and we chit-chatted about little stories etc. None of it was over whelming, he's awesome, easy going, while staying very professional and respectful. We went back to his desk and filled out finance paper work within 10 minutes. It was processed promptly while I sat down and enjoyed another cup of coffee in the main area. (I love all the large windows and how clean and spacious it is.) I watched him as he nimbly passed back and forth between management to finance and getting some extra information from me. (Not only is he a great multi-tasker but he's fast too, like a ninja. It was entertaining to watch.) Everything worked out and Chris R. figured out all the logistics for me. The management team and finance department is also amazing, I felt like they were on "my side" and watched for my best interest. Chris R. and the Audi team advised me accurately biased on what would benefit me currently and also kept my future in mind down the road. We went back to his office signed papers and it was done. I had never felt so right about a decision... I was so pleased and reassured. I went back the next day to pick up the car, which was waiting for me out front. The car had the tags on it and was ready to go. I noticed it had been detailed and washed for me. The staff was just as friendly and consistent as the day before. I feel that Audi of Tysons respects each client that comes to them. They understand that we have busy lives, they simply are able to go above and beyond to make it easier. I've never been happier, I had the best couple of days and here I am a day later still impressed with Audi of Tysons I want everyone else to know.
Go see Chris R.
If you are in Northern VA go see Chris R. at Audi Tyson's Corner. He is professional and courteous. I told him what I wanted and he provided options. All I had to do was pick one. There was never any pressure or uncomfortable situations and we drove off in our 2014 Q5 TDI.
My 2013 Q5 from Audi of Tyson's Corner
After learning of my troubles at the dealership, store general manager Mike T. offered his support and service. He was able to acknowledge and address my previous concerns and obliged to do all that he could to resolve the issues. Speaking with Mike did give me the peace of mind that I was looking for. He and his staff explored all aspects of my situation and provided resolutions as best as they could. After speaking with them I can rest easier knowing that this was a situation far removed from the norm. While my initial experience was not satisfactory, I am content with the managerial efforts to ensure that my concerns would be heard and resolved. I feel confident that the dealership has done all that they were capable of doing in my best interest and will intend to do so for their future customers.
Chris R. is awesome!
Chris R. of Tysons Audi is awesome! After experiencing so-so (and even crappy) service at other dealerships, Chris was a refreshing change. I wanted to trade in my Lexus, and thought I would try Audi. I had done the BMW and Mercedes thing, and thought Why not? when a friend raved about his A4. I sent an email inquiry, and Chris contacted me shortly thereafter. We scheduled an appointment, and when I arrived, Chris greeted me and we got down to business right away. He is very knowledgeable, and doesnt waste your time by trying to just close any deal. He said he wants to get you the car you want and wants you to be happy with your decision. Well, I got the A7 I wanted, and I feel pretty good about it. (So far, at least.) If you want a less painful car buying experience, I would highly recommend you stop by Tysons Audi and give Chris a spin. Wear your running shoes, though, cause that guy runs at about 100 mph. I mean, literally runs. His desk is on the upper level, and he runs up and down those stairs like a jack rabbit! All good, though
First New Car - Couldn't Be Happier
I went strongly considering the TT Coupe and left with everything I wanted. The service was fantastic (Chris R. comes highly recommended) and the entire process was as quick as buying a new car can be. If you want an Audi (or a new car in general), this is the place to go IMHO.
Wonderful experience with Chris R.
I just traded in my 2010 A5 coupe for a 2013 A5 cabriolet with Chris R. at Audi Tysons Corner. As a young female walking into the Audi Tysons Corner dealership can be overwhelming but Chris R. makes the process painless. I purchased my first from him three years ago, now this one, and hopefully every Audi in my future. Chris is an extraordinarily knowledgeable, caring, efficient, and best of all friendly (in a 'he's married with a kid, non-threatening kind of way') salesmen. With both purchases he spent time making sure I understood how to use all of the features in the car before I drove off of the lot and he has been available by phone and email for any questions I've had. If you're in the market for an Audi, Chris R. is the one to call!!!!!
What a Waste of my time.
I went there to buy a Used car on the lot. I first contacted the dealer on the internet as I was located in NY. After talking to a sales man on the phone. He assured me the car was clean and a "collectors type" of car. We worked out a price and I went to bank got the money and booking my train ticket. Got a call from the Manager as I'm leaving the bank. And he told me there was another internet buyer and then he couldn't hold the car till the next morning when I was arriving. Unless I send a non-refundable deposit. I told him my tickets were booked and I was set to be there are 1130 am. Next morning I leave at 5 am and get to DC at 10, was told my salesman would pick me up at the station... well what a surprise hes a no show(promise to pay me for the taxi ride) Finally I get to dealer and the sales man wasn't there so I go over and start looking at it. And thank god I didn't send the Deposit. The car was not In collectors Condition. It was in Beat to [non-permissible content removed] condition. tires were dry rotted, front bumper was scratched up, front fender was touched up with white paint. rear of the car was repainted. Overall I was very unhappy. (this is all taking place as I'm waiting for the salesman for 30+ mins.) He finally comes over and I tell him how I feel and decided I wasn't going to buy it. That I just need a number for a taxi so I can start my trip back home. he goes inside again. and starts working on a deal with another person. And the manager comes to speak with and says that he would have some wiggle room. Well it was 200 bucks worth of wiggle room not even enough for one tire. I again ask for a number for a cab and the money owed to me by the salesman. I get the whole I don't have it if you wait I'll go to the bank and get it for you blah blah. At this point I have been there for an hour and a half. And am now trying to find phone service to get a train ticket and cab. A day wasted, 500 bucks down the drain. and lied to about the car. I bought an M3 the next day from another place just wish I didn't waste the money and time. If they get anything close to what I offered for that car after seeing it. They would be stupid to say no and the buyer would be a fool for touching it. Its the silver 2002 BMW M3 with Saddle seats. For future parties interested. -The Front bumper is scratched up and had horrible curb rash. -All the tires have Side wall dry rot. -Rear Passenger side 1/4 panal had a huge rock chip. -That rock chip showed body fill -There is over spray on the truck -Rear bumper was all messed up. -It looks like someone tried breaking in to it by the drive side handle -Front driver side fender has deep marks that look like they were touched up with white paint. -handful of Dents and dings -Motor and Tranny seemed fine but after I got mine the shifts are much harsher then mine which makes me think something is wrong. -no service info -The Interior is very clean though. -There is no rear subframe damage. I'm not a tech but I have been around cars my whole life and I am a car enthusiast and theses are just little things I noticed in the hour I was left alone to look at it. I just don't want someone sending in a Deposit and then seeing the car and be [non-permissible content removed] of luck.
The best Audi dealership in town
I just leased a new Audi Q5 SUV yesterday after turning in my old leased honda mini van and I must say from the moment that I stepped in Chris R. from the dealership took great care of me. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the whole process and helped me pick the best vehicle with all the features that were important to me . The deal was was finalized in record time and still I never felt rushed or pressurized into leasing the vehicle. He showed me a few vehicles , but based on his knowledge of Audi vehicles and their features I was sold completely on the Q5 that I finally decided to go for. I am highly impressed at the quickness and quality of service that Chris provided. And an added bonus was when he took great effort to explain the multitude of features in my vehicle.Great service Chris, thanks for all your help.
Deceitful and Unethical
Spoke by phone to sales rep who had responded to my on-line inquiry. He quoted a good price, but then I went back to another dealer with whom I had been talking and they quoted a better price. Since that dealer had spent a lot of face time with us, my wife and I decided to accept that price and buy the car from that dealer, and we so advised Tysons. Tysons then blocked sale by "securing" car (which was at the Port and was the only one in that color and with that equipment available at that time) and refusing to release it to dealer who had given me better price, despite request from that dealer and from Audi corporate. Tyson's claimed they owned it, which they didn't. It was at the port. I never authorized them to "secure" it and never agreed to buy it. Sales personnel and manager became very hostile when they couldn't make the sale. Ultimately bought a car from the other dealer, who went out of their way to find same color--very important to my wife-- in a better equipped car, but adjusted price to accommodate me, since I hadn't wanted some of those extras. Tyson's attitude was buy it from us or its your tough luck. Well they not only lost a sale, but lost their reputation. Never do business with them.
"We don't allow people to test drive high performance cars"
I was interested in a used 2009 Nissan GTR, silver, 17K miles that they had listed on autotrader. I called the dealer to speak with a sales representative. I originally spoke with the sales manager (I believe Jim, but can't swear to it). I said I was interested in the car and was in Alexandria for the day so was pretty close. He said sure great, come on in and take a look. Gave my phone number and he said a salesman would give me a call to let me know who to ask for. Got a phone call from Noosh. Answered the phone "Dr. Wade." I am on call for weekend emergency phone calls. Talked to Noosh and said I am heading down to the dealer. My wife and I arrive 25 minutes later and ask to speak to Noosh. Unfortunately he is busy delivering a Q7 to a person. Hung around aimlessly for 20 minutes, and finally getting antsy asked to speak with the manager. At that point Noosh gives us the keys and says have a look around the car. Great. Looked around the car with my wife started it, etc. She really like it. Another Great. Finally after 20 more minutes Noosh comes back and I say well, the car looks good, has a clean carfax, lets take it for a drive.....You know like any other used car a person is ever going to spend money on, much less $68,000. That is when the smarmy used car sales silliness starts. "Oh sir, we can't possibly let you drive the car until you buy it. If you sign a contract and finance it then you can take it for a short drive. We don't let people drive this or the used Gallardo (kinda funny because the other car I was interested in was 2004-2005 Gallardo)." I said, "well I'm sorry to have wasted yours and my time, I don't buy used cars without ever driving them," shook his hand and began to walk away. Then more smarmy used car sales silliness. Noosh says hold on let me talk to the manager. OK, sure. My wife and I wait 10 minutes, standing in the hot sun (he took the car keys). I then walk into the Porsche showroom where he went, and he is standing and chatting with the manager pleasantly about something clearly not business related. It was like that scene in Fargo where the car salesman says he is going to talk to the sales manager about the accidental undercoating and leaves to get coffee and talk about football in the back room. Really? Seriously? I walk up and say, guys whats the hold up, its hot, and we are leaving. Then the manager gets all huffy and says that "We can't just let anybody drive our high performance cars." He says this with a straight face standing next to a Porsche Turbo in the showroom. I'm sure the occasional kid with no money walks in for a joyride. Worse you do is at least take him for a drive and hope to have a future customer. But a physician and his wife, driving a brand new miata (my M3 was actaully in the shop, seriously) come in and you treat them as if there time has no value. Just say from the get go, "no test drives on that car" and save the time and aggravation. Maybe you would have sold me the Gallardo, who knows since obviously you would never let somebody drive your used car. I ended up with a 2009 GTR from a place in Oregon 2 weeks later (bought it while on vacation). Walked in with my wife, they threw me the keys, got copies of our driver's licenses, and we took it for a test drive. Both of us loved it. Great car. Settled on a price, and bought it. No fuss, no used car sales smarmyness. I would not use this Audi/Porsche dealer to look at a high dollar high performance car, at least if you expect to drive it before you buy it. Regards, Justin Wade

Of course, dealers play all sorts of games. This is not the my first car purchase. Nonetheless, I was surprised by the effort it took to convince this dealer I wanted to buy a car and I did not want to be ripped off. I was very difficult to find a sales person, and they did not answer the phone (other dealers in the area did not have the car I wanted). Then, after agreeing on a price, they kept changing it. There is a difference between negotiation and a deal. When you agree to purchase at a price, the salesperson keeps you waiting for 1/2 hours and comes back saying he made a mistake; it's $1000 more expensive! I walked out twice, and came back, until they lowered the price. They also promised car rental during the warranty. They changed their minds afterwards and started to charge $100 for a rental.
