Great dealership

Enjoyed the overall experience, though it took forever to get out finance application processed. They were transparent in telling the reason of delay to be high amount sales due to Labor day. Mike Schaub our sales representative, is extremely knowledgeable and friendly about the car feature details. Took all the patience to explain us in clear lay man terms the benefits of each technology jargon. No hard add-on sales attempts. In fact they understood that I have already stretched my pocket and simple told me the different add ons available without pushing me to purchase.

Great Dealership for transparent, no pressure purchasing

Picked up a 2018 Subaru WRX limited this week. Worked with Mark & Joe. They came together to pull the car from Rockville, and got it to me in time, so I can make my meeting out of town. No high pressure sales tactic, no shady dealings, no "I'm going to keep checking with my manager for a great deal" tactics, no hidden fees. Easy to get a test drive for new car. Great atmosphere, and great team to work with. This is why I only work with Subaru dealerships on my new car needs.

Excellent Dealership

This dealership has the best customer service. They work with you to find the best car that fits you and will do whatever it takes to make sure you are beyond satisfied. I was very happy with my purchase and was told to call or stop by if I have any questions, comments or concerns which makes me feel at ease. I recommend if you plan on buying a Subaru that you purchase it through this dealership.

Horrible experience buying and servicing.

We purchased our vehicle from this dealership on the 31st of December, we waited five hours to sign for our 2015 Subaru Legacy. Our sales person seemed to have no idea what he was doing and the manager seemed scatter brained. The entire purchasing process was a pain from the beginning, we should have taken that as a notion to leave. About two months later we were on a road trip and had some electrical issues with the car, luckily its a certified car and so we took it to the closest Subaru dealership in North Carolina, they told us we needed a new Caliper. So i called Stohlman Subaru, they told us they would replace it no issues. We dropped the car off, we provided the documentation from the previous dealership stating the issue code and part number needed Tom told us they would fix it. We left the car with them for six days, in those six days i called twice, the first time i was told they were also fixing the emergency break because it was bad, then i called and they told me they were driving it around and couldn't find an issue. When we finally got the call saying it was ready for pick up Tom told us all they had done was reset the car. Six days and all you did was reset the car. Upon arriving to pick up the car, an EXCESSIVE amount of miles had been put on the car, and Tom had miraculously gone home, even though he was the manager dealing with our issues. Jay had no idea what they had even done to the car. Nobody could give us a valid reason as to why they hadn't put the Caliper in the car like we had already been told was going to be fixed as well as where the emergency break claim had come in. How do you screw up not once, but twice?

Great Experience

I recently purchased two new vehicles (2017 Outback Touring and 2017 Impreza Limited) from Stohlman Subaru of Sterling. These are the fourth and fifth Subaru vehicles I have owned, so I am a loyalty Subaru customer. However, Stohlman Subaru of Sterling provided the most professional and customer friendly experience any car dealerships that I have visited. Our Sales Consultant, Michael Schaub, was extremely knowledgeable about all features of the model vehicle we were interested in purchasing. He explained technology and safety features in great detail that helped my wife and me to determine best models for us. I would not hesitate to purchase a vehicle from Stohlman again.
