Dodge Charger death trap
I bought a 2012 Dodge Charger srt8 white with black race stripes and black tint on March 3 2018. With in two weeks the car had Mechanical issues coste of repair $3,000 I took the car back to the dealer and they kept it for three weeks Purposely so as to pass the 30 day return policy. when I brought the car it had a flat tire do to a crack in the rim which I found out as time pasted. The car needed an oil change as well. Also The car is a push start but it didn’t work right I couldn’t just push to start I had to put the key fob to the start button Basically reprogramming the key every time to start the car. I mentioned this to James before I pulled off the lot they said just change the battery in the key fob, But that wasn’t the problem. The remote transmitter was bad, The coste of repair was $500. The car also had a computer shutdown three bays after I got it back out the shop from dodge. Coste of repair 630$. I’ve complained multiple times to James about the cars issues and all he keeps telling me is to buy a 1,600$ After market warranty from them so they can fix it. they never gave me any paperwork on the perches they did give me a few recites but no other paperwork about the sale I’m a first time car buyer so I didn’t know what paper work I was supposed to receive. People do not buy a car from this dealer they’re buying cars from the auction and selling them at a high price then when you get it it starts acting crazy then they try to sell you a warranty at a high price. So if you do buy a car from this place make sure you get a warranty from them be for you leave the lot cause if not your gonna be very disappointed in your perches. If I could I wouldn’t give them any stars at all the car they sold me is really unsafe. it’s not safe to drive in the rain on the highway the rear ended slides all over the place at high way speeds so I had to drive really slow. When I got the car back from dodge they said it needed $5,000 worth of work.
ATTENTION!!!!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!! On 2/3/18 I walked into a nightmare. This was my first car purchase and was seeking a nice truck for my children. I discovered the 2012 Ford Flex on the lot and really like the size. The Sales Person "Mike" gave me the keys to test drive it. When I got into the car I noticed baby clothes and a infant seat and no gas was in the tank. But I still gave it a chance and test drove the vehicle it. The first thing I noticed was the oil change light illumined and that the brakes were semi off. I quickly turned around back to shop, explaining them that repairs were needed on this vehicle prior to any purchases being made. My Husband and I also noticed personal items such as : baby clothes/infant seats and toys were scattered through out the vehicle which James then informed me that the 2012 Ford Flex was just repossessed from previous owner few days ago for failure of payments. Mike and James promised that the car will be serviced, repaired, inspected and pass VA inspection before I completed the purchase documents. It happens so fast and was rushed by another unknown sales person because they spend all day with another customer who was being thorough with their purchasing agreement. Quickly in the office they rushed and called Navy Federal to receive the access code to clear the check. The "owner" James ensured me 100% to leave for two hours and the car will be ready. Me and my husband left believing that we made a great purchase on my birthday. Two hours later we came back and was told the car is ready to go. Got the keys and as I got into the vehicle I noticed the oil change/transmission light was still on with no gas again!!!!! Disturbed we returned to the owner James inquiring why the warning indicator lights were STILL illuminated?????? We also did not see the current VA State Inspection sticker in the windshield. James apologized and explained that their mechanic called out on the last minute and he would tow my car on Monday 2/5/18 back to his shop to take care the car and VA inspections as promised and again apologizing for the inconvenience! We trusted his word for he wrote it down on a piece of paper and signed it. As I was driving this car back on the highway engine light was flicking, car was shaking and could not drive over 45 miles. I had to pull over many times and started to panic. Sunday 2/4/18 we returned back to the shop and was told that I have to wait and James (who was out the office) gave his staff approval to loan me a PRE-OWNED RENTAL CAR with temporary VA paper tags for 5 days until the towing, repaired and VA inspection were comlpeted as promised. From 2/5/18-2/7/18 I never received a call for towing scheduling or repairs planning. It took me to take off from my job on 2/7/18 and drive one hour and half to confront James since they have been blowing me off on the phone or excusing him for being busy. Frustrated and annoyed patiently waited from 12pm noon through 7pm in the evening in the rain sitting in their pre owned used rental car. I explained James (Owner) something has to be done ASAP or return my check back to my bank, and informed him that I spoke with the Stafford Police in regarding this FRAUDULENT PURCHASE. James try to calm me down and agreed that his Sales Man (Mike) should've never sold this vehicle without proper inspection and maintenance but ensured me AGAIN that he would never take advance of a woman so he agreed to get the auto parts which was spark plugs and coil package and wrote me a $100 business check. The verbal agreement was in place because Car Auto line was not going to pay $400 for towing fees allegedly instructed by the senior owner. Two days later I took this car to Midas with the given parts and end up paying an addition $130.00. The Midas Mechanic instructed us that there is something wrong with the fuel injecting system and the car should be returned and never been sold in that condition. We test drove the car again on 2/11/18 and the vehicle fuel injector was found to be inoperable!!! This is where the vehicle currently resides! I have been trying to contact "James" since Monday 2/15/18 and was told he is busy AGAIN and that he will return my phone call.Until present I still have yet receive any form of return of communication from James the owner. Again I say DO NOT CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH CAR LINE AUTO for you will be highly disappointment, disturbed and felt taken advance off. I informed one of the Sale person (Nick) that I touched base with the BBS ( Better Business Bureau ) and VA Office of Attorney General for their fraudulent sales practices. PLEASE...DON'T BE A VICTIM LIKE MYSELF AND GET SCAMMED BY THESE PEOPLE THAT RUNNING A CAR BUSINESS WHO STEAL HARD WORKING PEOPLE'S MONEY. I PAID ALMOST $10K AND CAN'T EVEN DRIVE MY BIRTHDAY GIFT MYSELF!!!!!!!!
