Because this is an established dealership, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I took my car to sell after getting a online offer from Edmunds. Sheehy was one of the places listed. We met on Thursday, he made an offer. I called to accept and delivered the car on Friday. We had an appointment. I was there. The car was there. But after we did the paper work and so forth he went "upstairs" for my check, but came back to say the finance folks had gone home and I would need to come back on Monday--no, he could guarantee he would have my check on Tuesday by 4:00 pm. I called, He again said the finance folks had gone home and to come on Wednesday--again after 4 because he would be out of the office all day until then. (By now you realize how gullible I am, right!) I went without calling on Wednesday, he went to get my check, came back and said that, oops, the finance folks had mailed it. Right. the oldest scam in the book: 'the check is in the mail'. It is now Friday. They have had my car for a week, and I still have no money. I have paperwork, but they won't answer my calls, either. I know. I was stupid to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the person I dealt with is also very, very good at cutting through natural suspicions. Be Warned!!!!

AWESOME experience purchasing my new Passat! I worked with Mohamud Ali. He provided the most comprehensive and easy sales experience. I had a lot of questions and He took the time to answer all of them and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable making my new purchase. I've had the car for a week now and have been extremely satisfied. Great car, car sales experience, and a great Sales man to work with at Sheehy VW Springfield VA.

Excellent customer service! I had a great experience from the moment I walked in the store until the moment I left. Jorge Perez was helping me he has an extended knowledge about the cars and answered all of my questions. He made the car buying experience very easy and the environment very comfortable. We first worked with George McIntosh when my husband and I bought a car from him a few years ago. We mentioned we'd love a weekend car, specifically a used silver convertible, manual transmission and asked him to keep an eye out if he ever came across one within our budget. Three years later, he called my husband with the perfect fit. George went above and beyond to assist my husband to surprise me with a Mercedes SLK; He had it delivered to our house so it was parked in our garage complete with car sized bow, which really added to the surprise. George had the utmost integrity, and was honest about the condition of the used car. He fully explained all of the functions and answered all of my husbands questions. I am thrilled to spend this holiday weekend driving my new toy. Thanks for your help in finding the my perfect car!

Purchasing my used Honda CR-V from Sheehy VW Springfield was made so easy by Sal. He found exactly what I had been looking for at another Sheehy location, had it transferred to Springfield in less than 24 hours, and had everything ready for me when my husband and I arrived for our scheduled appointment. We saw the car, Sal explained all of the features, and then we took it for a test drive. We knew right away it was the perfect car for us! When we arrived back at the dealership, he went over the numbers with us to make sure we were comfortable with everything, then turned us over to Aaron to sign the paperwork. Everything went so smoothly from start to finish, and we couldn't have been happier with the process and how friendly and professional everyone was. Special thanks to Sal and Hussein for making it such a good experience - we love our new car!

We first bought our 2015 GTI from Sheehy right before New Year's. We had a great experience and when we decided to purchase a VW Beetle convertible, we went back to Sheehy, mainly because of the exceptional service. Jonathan was our sales person and he was terrific. We test drove all the available models and he worked with us to find the perfect match. I chose the 2014 1.8T Premium trim because it had the most features for the money. Jonathan worked with us throughout the process, and we couldn't be happier.

My salesperson Tom Reber was one of the main reasons I decided to buy my car from Sheehy. I've owned Jettas since 2000 and I just bought my 4th. My GTI was aggressively priced and they gave me a reasonable price on my trade-in. Negotiate on extras--I used a "divide MSRP by 2.5" rule for the extras when bargaining. Great staff--very helpful folks. Very much a better experience than the place up the street.

He wasn't pushy, I actually enjoyed working with him and would definitely recommend anyone contact him if they are looking for a vehicle. I chose Sheehy Volkswagen Springfield as I used them years ago to lease my first GTI. 3 years later and I knew I had to come back to buy my new one. Mohamud Ali is very knowledgeable, and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure the car you get is exactly what you want.

Sheehy facilities are flawless, such a pleasure to walk into their clean spacious showroom. My husband and I were shopping for a used 1-2-year old sedan. Jorge Perez showed us a couple of options, was very friendly, helpful, and courteous. We test-drove 2 cars and settled on a 2014 Jetta. The place did not disappoint us! We got a great deal on our trade-in and a kick-ass interest rate. As first-time car buyers, we could not expect a better deal! The car came with a 2-year insurance and Jorge explained what exactly is covered. John, the general manager, was also very friendly and tried to accommodate our wishes with respect to the deal. The whole process (from walking into a dealership to driving out with a new car) took about 3.5 hours. Seemed long, but given that EVERYTHING was done within that time frame, it is pretty phenomenal (test drives, trade-in appraisal, negotiations, financials, title transfer). The only con was the sales tactics of the finance manager Aaron, who offered us extra coverage and was visibly upset when we politely declined. We did not expect such a change in attitude from a professional. Also, he could not present his product very well and neither I nor my husband were able to understand what was covered. But Jorge made it up for us with his excellent customer service. We forgot the title for the old car at home and could bring it later, which is very nice of them. We love our new vehicle. I would recommend this dealership to my friends.
