The WORST Dealership

This is probably the worst dealership out in Richmond. I brought my SUV in for a recall initially. Then, when I went to pick it up, the rear hatch won't open, so I gave it back to the service department. They told me there was a water leakage through the sun roof that caused the rear hatch module bad. To replace it, it will cost me $1900. I told them there was no problem with this car everything was fine until I gave my car to them. They didn't care so I had to take my SUV just like that. A month later I received another recall letter, and it was an issue with the sun roof. This issue can lead to water leakage that can damage electronics, so I took it back to them and told them this recall could have damaged the rear hatch. They confirmed it and fixed the rear hatch. When my wife went to pick up the car, the car won't start. The battery was completely dead. They were charging us $361 for the battery (RIDICULOUS PRICE!!!). I told them that their technician must have drained out the battery, but they didn't care. After a jump start I took my SUV to Advance Auto and got a new battery for $150. Then, I tested out the rear hatch with the remote, through the hand sensor and through the drive side liftgate switch button. It failed to open the rear hatch through the liftgate switch button. I took the car back to them, and they said it will cost me $241 to replace the liftgate switch. I told them this function was working before, but they didn't care. I mentioned that their technician must have done something with the switch while he/she was working on the driver side door lock issue that I asked them to repair along with the rear hatch repair. It is very disappointing that you guys REALLY don't care for your customer. When I told my side of the story to Bill Myers (Manager), he really didn't care of what I had to say because at the end, he said they cannot do anything for me, and if I want to fix the liftgate switch, it would charge me $241, the part only cost $33 (another RIDICULOUS PRICE!!!) What kind of crap is this that I got to pay for something that was working fine until we gave this SUV to the Service department.

Poorest Customer Service on the Planet!

I was stared at from the moment I came in for my appointment. Four attendants were standing there and no one greeted me or asked if they could help me. Even though I spoke first, there was no "May I help you?" or "Just a minute". I received a call later asking me if they could do other maintenance, and I readily answered, "No," not because I didn't believe the work should be done, but because they been so cavalier and rude in their attitude toward me. I will drive 50 miles to another dealer. Never again! If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Moore Cadillac in Richmond

From the receptionist that answers the phone all the way up to the General Manager, you will never deal with a more unprofessional and simply rude group of individuals. If you call the dealership on the phone, you generally get no personable greeting, and you are not asked to be placed on hold, you are simply put on hold, sometimes for a matter of several minutes until someone decides to answer. When you go into the dealership to purchase a vehicle, you are given all of the attention you can take. After you purchase the vehicle and return for ANY sort of assistance, you are either ignored, or insulted. If you write to the General Manager and express your concerns, you will NOT hear anything back from him. Once you purchase from Moore Cadillac, be prepared to totally be "on your own". The service department will never be able to "duplicate the problem" that you are having while the vehicle is under warranty. If they do find anything wrong they will find a way to not warranty it, and bill you an outrageous amount of money to fix what you have complained about for over a year or more. They will charge you $2 for a "records retention fee" every time you go in for service eventhough they give you a copy of the completed service order. Do yourself a favor, drive to Virginia Beach or find another Cadillac dealer. If you still decide to do business with Moore, be sure to leave your check book at home, and button the pocket that covers your wallet.
