Happy with our 2016 Encore

My wife and I were in the market for a new car and had looked at the RAV4. We didn't like its styling and ride and the fact that it didn't come with leather seats. We liked the look of the Encore and decided to visit JK Buick. We weren't accosted the second we walked on site; we were able to look around without being harassed. We walked into the showroom and Philip was at his desk. He was eating and we asked if he could answer some questions for us. Before we knew it, we were testdriving the Encore we ended up buying... on 66 during rush-hour. He was very knowledgeable... quite unlike the Toyota salesperson. The color was perfect, the interior was perfect, the ride was wonderful. We weren't planning on buying a car that day, but it was clear they wanted to deal to make a sale... we ended up saving probably $2000 by buying it that day rather than waiting for the next day, which promised to be busy. Wonderfully helpful-but-not-pushy staff.

A Comfortable and Relaxing Service Experience

Love this place very trust worthy

My 2011 Buick Enclave would not shift into gear and the service engin light code read a sensor was bad. It took two trips to get the issue figured out the whole shifting issue. When fixing the sensor the shifter worked. Then it did not 2 days later. They took it back in and gave a loaner to figure out the problem. All good now.

Happy with our 2016 Encore

I would like to let you know that I just had the best experience ever when looking to purchase a new vehicle. We were approached by Frank Elrod upon entering the dealership. He was not a sales person but said he would find someone to help us. There were no sales person available at the time and so Frank graciously volunteered to assist. It was the most pleasant experience I have ever had when purchasing a vehicle. He did not pressure us and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. We purchased a new vehicle before we left the dealership even though we were originally just looking. It was all due to the customer service provided by Frank. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends.

2014 GMC Denali Sales Review

My sales consultant was Steve H. and I could have not asked for a more knowledgeable, friendly individual. He patiently answered all my questions and gave me purchase options and I finally settled on the purchase of a 2500 HD Denali turbo diesel. I very happy and satisfied with the buying experience and I love my new truck. However, there are two things beyond Steve's control: 1) the towing mirrors installed point skyward instead of down (according to GM tech bulleting - it can't be fixed (too bad because it's a big distraction and 2) I ordered a camper shell that when to third party installing the shell, left muddy footprints on the box floor and secondly, the weather stripping is put on with double sided tape and it will not hold! I've returned it for a fix and more double sided tape that doesn't hold AND the third party left dirty foot prints on my carpet and the carpet had to be shampooed. I'm happy with Steve and the sales process but the accessories are less than satisfactory.

Purchased a 2014 GMC Sierra SLT and would consider it a great experience overall. Sales person listened to my wants and sought the best deal for me even after I changed my mind on what I wanted over the course of the sale. Other people in the process (finance, etc.) were just as helpful and friendly. The overall process took time but I feel experience was worth it especially when driving off the lot in the new truck.

Not a bad deal

Purchased a no haggle priced vehicle which appeared just under KBB's valuation. They will cool your heals using the "let me run this past the manager" scam but all dealers do it. The doc fee is at the top end ($499) compared to other dealers. If you don't have a trade-in to negotiate with then you're stuck paying their price and doc fee (or going elsewhere). Remember, they have to sell a car, you don't have to buy one. Bring your own financing to make things quicker. The finance guy was super fast. I probably sat there for less than 10 minutes and we were done. Only passing comments on upselling the fabric conditioners, warranties, etc. I will do business with them again. Once last quickie, the internet add said daytime running lights. This wasn't true but certainly not an issue. I would have given the 5th star had the sales guy had more autonomy. I drank alot of their coffee.

New Car Purchase

Purchased a 2011 Lacrosse CX V-6 from Koons of Manassas. Made purchase based solely on servicing received on a 1999 Buick Century. Purchase experience was typical--long, drawn-out dickering, did receive the price and payment plan I was seeking. And, there was the usual post-sale pressure to buy this warranty and that car coating; I knew this was coming, just politely rejected everything. Koons salesperson was pleasant, accomodating on my requests for test drives; actual, sale approving agent was, again, the typical we-can't-go-any-lower, solemn-faced individual. Overall sales experience with the Koons Manassas dealership was positive; good feedback from the dealership once I drove away. Would recommend this dealership for anyone interested in a Buick.

The dealership took all day and tried to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need, so I brought my husband who is a lawyer--finally they processed my papework timely after waiting all day---I finished at 9:00p.m.and arrived at 11a.m.. The service was long--4 hours for an oil change. They lied about an a.c. repair and did not stand by the warrenty--told me the sonic ears said the ac unit was fine--it later blew up costing me more than $2,500 for the repair.

Jim Bencivenga and his team are the finest examples of the true meaning of customer service. Their desire to assist combined with their professionalism and efficiency make for an unbeatable package. I have never worked with a company so determined to make the Customer King (or in my case... Queen). I highly recommend Koons of Manassas for the lease or purchase of your next vehicle!

Fraud (Tried to sell an used car for old car)

Hi, I went to buy a new car. I test drove a car, we had negotiation, I asked for a color which he dont have. He said I can get you in an hour but you have to sign the papers. I signed the papers and after an hour he got me a car with a 1000 miles on it. Luckily I got my check back... Be careful!!!

Koons services our 2006 Solstice, though we didnt purchase through this dealership, the service department has been excellent....we deal with the same service writer each time...and he has only one service tech that he allows to perform maintenance on the solstice..there are several little items to be careful of with the solstice and we have NEVER had any problems with service or professionalism at this dealership...highly recommended....
