Service Center had me drive out with a dry engine
I bought a brand new 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo at this location back at the end of December and had a terrible experience with their sales team. Typical car salesmen stuff, their "closer" verbally offered me a price to see if I was willing to commit to it and then pulled the price back when it came to putting the numbers on actual paper. Fast forward about 5 months down the line, I brought my car in for it's first service apt at 7500 miles for a basic tire rotation and balance. They had me drive out on a "dry engine" and my car broke down and had to be towed back to them (I only got about 10 minutes outside of the shop before the engine started smoking and I had to get towed out). After I insisted they could have done serious damage to my engine, they offered me an extended warranty to help give me peace of mind about the engine. Things then became very strange when their Service Manager, Diana Chadwick, refused to answers written questions I'd posed to them via email about the warranty. She would only answer my questions over the phone and when I asked why she couldn't put them in writing, she said "that just the way we do business here" and we could get in trouble by answering your questions in writing". I then drove to the dealership to get the answers in person, where Diana was contradicted by her boss who stepped in and created a scene. She had told me I wouldn't be responsible for paying any deductibles against the warranty claims but her boss said I would have to pay the deducbtibles and he was overriding her because he didn't like my attitude towards them. I am now left to seek resolution with Chrylser / Jeep corporate. Whatever happened to customer service and doing the right thing for a customer? I never seen a shadier business practice than refusing to answer questions in writing about the warranty they were offering to "make me go away". They would only answer these questions over the phone. It was such a racket. Moral of the story: Don't even think about doing business with these people. They are lousy human beings and will literally ruin a car you bought there, make you wait weeks for answers to questions, and then make you feel like you are the person in the wrong. This is hands-down, the worst customer service and buying experience I've ever had in my life.
WORST CAR BUYNG EXPERIENCE EVER
I have purchased over 30 cars in my lifetime and have NEVER had such a bad experience. I first want to say that my salesman, BJ, was wonderful. He was professional and very knowledgeable of the product. That is where the good part of my experience ended. The sales manager whose name I don't recall, lied, manipulated, and was disrespectful in his efforts to take advantage of me. I had to fight to get the advertised price for the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica I was interested in. He attempted several times to convince me why the vehicle could not be sold to me for the advertised price. I had to read the disclaimer to him in order to prove that what he was telling me was not true. He asked the finance guy to manipulate the numbers for the additional warranty items to offset the amount of money he would be losing on the deal. He was advised that I had been offered the lowest possible price on these items, which I don't believe, and that would not be an option. The person I had in the finance office was no better. He was very fast talking and I was not able to make sense of the numbers he was scribbling on scratch paper. Eventually I got so frustrated that I said to print the contract so I could just get out of there. I was disgusted by their dishonest tactics. There is no way I should have given them my business and shame on me for doing so. I went there because of the advertised price on the vehicle i wanted, it's availability and convenience of the location. My mistake. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone and I will never come through their door again.
I couldn't have had a better experience buying a car. From the moment we walked in the door Khaled & Howard took care of us. Khaled did an extraordinary job talking with us about each of the 4 cars we ended up looking at as well as give us great, caring conversation while the financial side was being worked out. The whole experience was comforting, satisfying & non stressful. Khaled even took us out for pizza afterwards. They bent over backwards to make sure we felt like family, and their mission was accomplished. I have already recommended them to my co-worker and I definitely will buy from them again.
Worst customer service. Mr Moe Zargarpur ( the newly appointed sales manager)makes up prices of car and changes it when he feels like it. I was working with Mr Elliott at his dealership and after confirming the price on model no J7799 for $43,400 out the door was on my way with my wife to their dealership to buy the car. I live one hour away from the dealership. My wife and I were half way to the dealership when we get a a call from Mr Moe that the price of the car is another thousand dollars. I reminded him that this was unethical and wrong and he basically tried to make up a story that he was talking about a different car. I have the texts with the model # along with the agreed upon price. Mr. Moe basically lied to us and really ruined our day and wasted our time.
Terrible experience - dealer backed out of agreement we had in email!
I went to Dulles motor cars to look at buying a new Ram 1500. My initial test drive went well and the salesman (marques) was knowledgeable and helpful. I went back to dealership to start talking about the price and we were approximately $1,000 apart. At this point, I had to leave for the day but thought we would be able to work something out to make it happen over the next couple days. That's when everything went downhill fast! After leaving on Friday, Marques and the finance manager (Harpreet) were supposed to call me back later that day with a counter offer. I did not hear anything back until Monday when I received a follow up email asking if I had other questions. I responded by reminding them they were supposed to be getting me a counter offer. They had forgotten and asked me again which price I was looking for and assured me they would get back to me that day. After waiting 2 days without hearing anything, I followed up again directly with the finance manager, Harpreet. He asked me a few question on the options I wanted in a truck but again, did not provide me a counter offer and stopped responding for another 2 days. I followed up again on Friday and finally received a counter offer. The offer was actually a decent price and we were close to an agreement. At this point, Marques and I went back and forth a few times via email and phone and by Saturday morning, we had agreed to a price for the truck. I agreed to come in to the dealership 3 hours later to sign the papers and finalize everything. Then things got even worse! After being unresponsive for most of the previous week, when I arrived at the dealership, they informed me they would not honor the deal we had reached over the phone/email 3 hours before! Marques said he had relieved a yes from the manager that morning but now the GM gave him a big No. As far as I was concerned, I don't care who approved my offer, all I cared about is that the offer was made to me and we agreed on it. If they made a mistake, that is not my problem! The reason for the no was because of the incentives changing between that day and the day the truck would be delivered. I asked Marquess this specific question via email the day before and I have a response in writing from the dealership stating this would not be a problem and I could lock in the incentives that day by putting down a deposit. Despite having the agreement with price and incentive in writing, the dealership refused to honor it. At this point, the manager came over to talk to me. Even when told that we had agreed to a deal and I had it in writing, he said he could not honor it and could only apologize for the incorrect information provided to me! There are a ton of other RAM/Dodge/Chrysler dealerships within a 30 minute drive of this one. I would strongly urge anyone looking to make a purchase to take the extra few minutes to drive to a dealership that will honor what they agree to and put in writing!

My wife and I purchased a 2016 Jeep Cherokee yesterday from Jackson Nisewaner at Dulles Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM in Leesburg. Sure, we already knew about what we wanted, but the process was the easiest and smoothest car buying experience that we have had. It was a no pressure situation from the get-go, which let's be honest, was the biggest plus. Nothing is worse than getting hounded at a car dealership. We found a great vehicle to buy within a half an hour of being there, didn't have to haggle because the price was extremely fair, got good value for our trade in, and drove off in our new jeep and a couple big smiles in less than 4 total hours. Definitely would recommend a visit here if you are looking. Plus the new Jeep Cherokees are Awesome!
They Don't Keep Their Promises
I bought a 2013 Used Mini Cooper from this dealership on Monday, march21,2016. The door has a dent in it that I was assured would be fixed in 2-3 days. When they delivered the car to me on Monday afternoon the windshield also has a crack. I called them immediately and JC (sales person) assured me it would be fixed in 2-3 days. I have called and emailed them trying to secure a time this week for the repairs. Suddenly, they don't return phone calls or emails. This is the second car I've purchased from them and it will be my last. If you choose to shop this dealer get EVERYTHINH in writing with dates. Buyer beware!
Excellent Sales Experience!!
I think these guys have revolutionized the car buying experience. I live in Myrtle Beach,SC. After trying to trade my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara for a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon at several of my local dealerships I became very frustrated as they would not work with me on price. I found Dulles Motor Cars through auto trader online. My salesperson Karpreet was awesome. He gave me top dollar for my trade and an amazing price on the new vehicle. I did not have to bargain as he was able to beat my local dealerships by a landslide with better options as well. I felt no pressure at all. Even the closing went smooth. Valencia described the benefits of the added protection quite well and also no pressure. He got me to see the best value for me as I will be holding on to this vehicle for a very long time. The treatment was so good infact that I decided to purchase a second car for my fiancé and again they did me right. Great job to the entire staff at Dulles Motor Cars!! Worst purchase experience of my life.
At first, I was told a sales manager didn't want to honor the USAA Car Buying Service pre-negotiated price because they could make more money off the deal since it was a rarer car. After complaining, I got them to agree to the pricing. As I waited for a week for the vehicle to be delivered, my sales rep did a horrible job of responding to my inquiries and keeping me updating. I called at least two dozen times, and received less than 5 callbacks despite promised communication - even from a manager. Once there, the purchase process took a few hours (way too long, car wasn't prepared at all) where they nearly robbed me of $995 due to some "miscommunication" - I was seconds from signing the purchase agreement before I noticed their mistake! Did I mention the "documenting fee" is also $695?! The brand new car also had cosmetic damage to it that I didn't notice until I got home, 400 miles away. Of course they will do nothing to help me now that they have my money. But wait, it doesn't end there! They FAILED to handle my tax and tag/title work, and are saying I owe them an extra $250 on top of the taxes when I can handle this myself at my local BMV. And it took days of haggling for them to figure this out, and didn't even call back once they did.

Dee helped me find the car that I wanted, he was kind and a very hard worker. He did everything he could to get me the best deal possible and made me feel like I was an important customer and what I wanted really mattered. He was exceptional at everything he did. I truly appreciate the customer service and help that Dee offered me.
I was very pleased with the overall experience with the team at Dulles Motorcars. Buying a car is never easy, but the entire team made the process easy and hassle free. I base much of my business dealings on building lasting relationships with professionals I can depend on to provide the best service possible. I won't hesitate to return to Dulles Motorcars for my next vehicle.
Leaky Sunroof Issue on Day 1
I brought my brand new Cherokee home and discovered, when swapping out the Jeep floor mat with an all-weather mat, that the carpet on the driver's side was very wet. Two days later, a water specialist repairs a crimped drain tube for the sunroof. Meanwhile I discover that a class action lawsuit has been filed regarding this issue. I had two Jeeps from this dealership (1996 Grand Cherokee and a 2004 Grand Cherokee) and both vehicles were great! Please note that if the dealership confirms the online sale price, they will add back in the destination fee. Destination fee is included in MSRP. When the manager prepares the worksheet, with the break down of numbers (taxes, tags, doc fee), the destination fee will be added back. Please review your worksheets carefully, and if you sense that something is not right, walk out.
I had a great experience at this dealership. As a woman going alone to buy a car it can be Extremely intimidating. My sales man Jim Gates was amazing. He had already set up an appointment prior to me walking in the door so he had an idea what I was looking for. He found my car for me and within 3 hours I drove out of there in my new car. I highly recommend Dulles Motorcars.

Jennifer was my sales person, and Greg worked on the financial end of my deal. I really enjoyed working with both of them, and felt that they did try their best to get me the best deal possible in my situation. I would highly recommend this dealership, and specifically these 2 people.
Great Deal and Customer Service on 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon
Purchasing our new Rubicon was a very pleasant and rewarding experience. Missy was incredibly informative, personable, and patient during our decision process, and even volunteered to come in on her day off so we could extend our process into a second day. Once we selected the vehicle we wanted, the business manager, Mark Solomon, ensured we got the best deal by getting us a lower interest rate than I could have dreamed possible. I'm one very happy customer. :-)
New Ram 1500
During the process the experience was good. Ray had a good attitude and was pretty funny. I didn't spend to much time waiting around. I would say the reason that my rating was so low was I was given false information about the towing capacity of the truck. I asked many times if I could tow 7,500 lbs with this truck and was told yes no problem every time. Now I am finding out that I can only tow 4,150 which is a huge difference. I feel kind of cheated now.
Happy with the service of my vehicle. I got there after services hours to pick up and am very pregnant. One of the sales guys insisted on walking all the way around the building to get my car for me. Thank you again !
From the second I walked into Dulles, I was supported with my car buying decision. Our sales associate Joe did a great job explaining everything, taking the time and not pushing anything upon my decision making process. I'm in love with my car and everything about the experience I was given! Can't say enough nice things about this place. From follow up calls to the nitty gritty details, I am very pleased.
Horrible Service; Avoid at all costs!
I brought my new 2014 Jeep Cherokee in for repair because the transmission feels like the gears are meshing. From my research online, this seems to be a common problem with Cherokees. Chrysler had to delay the launch of the vehicle due to issues with the transmission. The repairman, Rico, drove my car and said there was nothing wrong. He said that it was normal for the transmission to be rough and suggested I come in for a driving lesson. I did some research online and learned that Chrysler recommends flashing the TCM to fix this problem if your car was built before May 2014 and the driver reports an issue with the transmission. Mine was built in November 2013. I called and requested that the mechanic perform the repair that most frequently caused this problem since it is likely that my car is exhibiting signs of transmission problems. He was unwilling to perform the repair. I went in and talked to Rico. He said that that was not necessary and according to my VIN number it wasn't needed. I asked him to double check by hooking my car up to a computer, as some mechanics have found additional updates using this method. He flat out refused. He wouldn't tell me the version of the software on my computer or which updates had been run. I was informed that until my check engine light came on there is no problem with my vehicle and to not come back until it does. It has been reported by Automotive News and Car and Driver that driving the car for 78 minutes will enable the mechanic to find most transmission problems. When I checked the mileage, it was the same as when I brought it in. I have never been treated so rudely. I don't recommend this dealership for ANY reason and will not be going there again.
