Drive an hour past the "other guys"...

I literally drive an hour past the dealership off route 1 in Stafford/Fredricksburg, just to get service on my F250 Diesel, here at Battlefield Ford. Trust is huge in my book, and that is what I can always get at Battlefield Ford, as opposed to multiple trust issues with the other dealership.

Car service review

First and foremost my service experience was vary terrible. I own a 2016 Ford Mustang eco boast premium that roughly had only 6500 hundred miles on it. I ended hitting a pot hole that damaged the front left wheel. I was left stranded on the side of the road because the fix of flat wasn't working in the car and guess what no spare tire. So had my car towed to ford of Culpeper. All this happened on Sunday, so my car wouldn't be looked at until Monday morning. The service mechanics looked at my car and quoted that I need a new rim and tire for the front left. Okay not so bad, wrong the price of one rim was 1400 hundred dollars and that doesn't include the tire. The kicker is that the rim wouldn't be in until Thursday of that week. So waited until Thursday to have the rim come in and fixed. Alright so fast foreward to Thursday, the dealership gave me another call that then back rim was messed up too. So that's another 1400 plus the tire cost. And of course waiting another yet three days for the part to come in. I would like to remind you my car was put in the shop Monday morning in all my car wasn't actually fixed until Wednesday of the next week. The worse part is that the car wasn't fixed the way I waited, I requested to have the two brand tires put on the rear and other back to the front that did not happen at all. Now I'm stuck with taking it to another place to have it done. For the price I payed for this vehicle my service of being at the dealership did not compare. I will not be going to this specific dearship again for any service and will tell family and friends to do so either. I'm totally appalled the hassle and frustration I was put through.

A PLUS and 5 Stars ALL AROUND

I have bought many cars in the past from many different dealerships, but this one was the best experience ever, even though I had to drive 2 hours to it. I found a car online, and submitted a request for more information. I received a call within minutes from Teddy Drakopulos, who was very professional and not pushy at all as many dealers in this business are. I scheduled a test drive for 2 days later because I need to drive from the DC area. In the day of the scheduled test drive, I got an email from Teddy in the AM confirming my appointment, and that he will call me at noon to make sure the car is still available so I do not make the drive for nothing. I made it to the dealership around 5PM. I test drove the car and loved it. We negotiated the price, and made the deal. The GM Greg Powell came to give his congrats. The car was taken for detailing and I finished the deal with the Finance Manager Amy Smith and we were done. The cherry on top, as I was waiting for the car to be detailed. I had a 15 minute massage on their massage chairs in the lounge/waiting area. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. The staff were very informative, professional and friendly. And in all of my dealership experiences (and they are a lot), I never learned much about some of the laws that the dealership has to follow. A+ and 5 starts all around.

Awesome Truck and Awesome Treatment

Purchased a 2016 Ford F-150 XLT with multiple special options, accessories and modifications. We live over 50 miles from this dealership. In support of this sale, William, Melissa and Amy were awesome in supporting us via email and calls to work out almost every detail prior to arriving at the dealership ready to close. Start to finish, William was highly responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. He gave my wife and I a tremendously delivery overview of our new truck, staying well past dealership closing time to finish doing so. Melissa was extremely friendly, superb, and highly responsive when William was not available. Amy was great on the finance end and secured us a loan a half point lower than anywhere I'd been able to find...yeah Amy! Thank you Battlefield Sales Team...now it's on to enjoying the same great treatment from your Service Team!!

Car buying has become a real pain. As soon as I started to research cars I was contacted by e-mail and phone from every car dealer in my area. I only gave my personal information once to get an estimate of my trade-ins value. I contacted Battlefield Ford because we spend a lot of time in Culpeper and it was convenient. They went above and beyond what one would expect from a dealer without being at all pushy. What a pleasure.

Ford Roadside Assistance did a great job in helping me get my car to a dealership to get new wheels for my vehicle. The Service department of Battlefield Ford in Culpeper did an excellent job in getting wheels and installing them on my car all in one day! Great Experience

We had fantastic service at Battlefield last week when we purchased a used Tahoe. We had specific guidelines that needed to be met, as do many people when it comes to finances. Our sales lady (Cheryl)was great, she listened to our needs and we felt completely comfortable. Cheryl did not use pressure tactics or give us any indication that she disagreed with our findings on the vehicle as you will often find from the sales person when purchasing a car. The finance manager was pleasant & listened to our criteria on what we needed financially. He said "we want to make this deal happen, what do we need to". Top notch service, would refer to anyone.

I needed to purchase a new vehicle for my school and identified the type of vehicle to meet our needs. Several dealerships were contacted with sketchy results. Battlefield in Culpeper made searching for and purchasing my new car simple and stress-free. They suggested cars that fit my lifestyle and we test drove as many as necessary for me to make a decision. In my sixty years of driving I have owned 30 cars. Without exaggeration this last purchase was the best automobile buying experience I've ever had and it was all because of Josh and Mary. Both those folks were thoughtful, kind, courteous, accommodating and professional. I mean truly, I was just blown away with what a pleasant experience those two made my purchase. And let me add, I LOVE the vehicle. In fact back here in the Chattanooga area I'm being treated like a rock star with people coming up to me wanting to know about my Jag. Amazing! And of course I tell them the story about how it all happened buying a car 500 miles away, the first class treatment I received and what an enjoyable experience it was from start to finish thanks to Josh and Mary.

Friendly and generous

I was driving through Culpepper on a visit to family recently and stopped on a Saturday morning at Battlefield Ford on the off chance that they could do an oil change for me. I fully expected to be sent away on a very busy day for them. Instead, they immediately said "yes!" let me know how long the wait was going to be, and then followed through as they said they would. The service was not only courteous, but also warm. I would recommend Battlefield Ford to anyone--and am glad I purchasad my vehicle there, rather than in Maryland, where I live.

Very disappointed. Have had my car in 5 times for the same thing!! I’m so tired of Battlefield Ford of Culpeper saying “Ford won’t let us do anything else”. That’s just passing the buck, quit blaming someone else and TRY harder to fix my car! I spoke to Roy on Oct 21 to make an appointment for Oct 26, due to the continued problems Roy said he would have someone give my husband a ride home when he dropped the car off for service, when my husband arrived on Oct 26 they did not even have my appointment scheduled!!! And, they certainly did not offer him a ride home either. I called Greg Powell on Oct 21 and 22 about my concerns, to date he still has not returned my calls! Never going back to Battlefield Ford or buying another Ford.

Our experience with Battlefield and Dwight was wonderful. After weeks of looking we finally found the vehicle we were looking for. I contacted Battlefield via email and Dwight called within the hour. We made an appt and drove up from Lynchburg. Dwight made this buying experience very enjoyable and the staff we dealt with were great also. We bought that SUV and have been very pleased. Just let them know what you expect and need. Dwight will work with you to the best of his ability and I am sure so would the rest of the sales staff.

WILL NOT RETURN

I called and scheduled an OIL CHANGE for a Sat at 10:00am. After I made the appointment I received an email confirmation. They had scheduled it for sunday. I had to call back to let them know and have them schedule it correctly. I was told that the service would take about 1 hr to 1hr-15 min b/c they can run behind on a Sat. I arrived about 10 min early and checked in. I was told that I was scheduled for "The Works", not an oil change as I had requested when I called. No one on phone mentions the works or anything. So I agreed to have it done. I sat for 1 1/2 hours and someone came out to let me know that it was complete and that I need to consider having 2 things done. I let him know I was pressed for time and that I needed to be somewhere in 10 min. He stated that was fine he would let them know to bring it out front for me. I waited 20 min and then I went to ask what the deal was as I was late for my sisters baby shower, and if I needed to call someone to pick me up so I would not miss the whole thing. He went back and spoke to someone. When he came back out he stated he was sorry and that the tech got caught up talking to another tech and would be bringing it out for me. I wonder how much longer I would have sat if I did not say something. I was extremely angry. what kind of customer service is that. I will not be returning for service there ever again.
