Deceptive practices, Poor Customer Service
I recently invested in a certified used vehicle from this location. During the point of sale, I mentioned multiple concerns. I ask specific questions regarding what is and is not covered under the manufactures warranty and the additional purchased warranties. At that time I was ensured that everything would be covered. Prior to closing the deal, several issues were mentioned regarding the steering, suspension, and cosmetics were sought to be remedied. At the next business day, the countless visits and scheduling service appointments began. After speaking with the financial advisor and sales manager days after the sale they portrayed a much different scenario. Priority Toyota never disclosed any major mechanical failures or factory defects. However, this vehicle was supposedly inspected by a qualified team that obviously failed to report a major mechanical failure. It should have never been sold that in that condition or at the minimum the buy should have been made aware. This company has truly done me wrong and still no resolution.
Great customer service
Customer service here is great whether you are here to buy at car or have it serviced. Everyone is super nice and helpful. Purchasing was a breeze and my salesman was very professional. The service department is great too. They are very courteous and keep me up to date on upcoming service needs. Will definite purchase my next vehicle at Priority Toyota.
A very satisfying buying experience
I really could not make up my mind, so test drove several different cars. The salesman was top notch and showed no signs of being inpatient with my indecision. He provided all the assistance I could need throughout the buying process once I decided on a vehicle. I hope he is around the next time I want a car from Priority.
I recently purchased a 2014 Avalon Hybrid from Priority. The car and the sales experience were outstanding. The sale person was very knowledge, helpful, and very courteous. He has followed up three times since the sale. Will purchase from them again.

I recently purchased a Toyota Rav 4 from Priority Toyota and was extremely satisfied with the purchae experience. The sale people are very knowledgeble about the vehicles and made nay experience enjoyable. The finance people were very helpful and got met the deal I was looking for. This is my second vehicle purchase from this dealer and I will return when I am ready to purchase another vehicle.
Amazing buying experience
I just purchased a 2014 Tundra. If you are looking to buy a new car or truck, this is the place to do it. The staff is amazing. They worked hard to ensure I received the best possible deal available. The pricing was the lowest I found anywhere. They offered the highest trade in value on my vehicle as well. The facilities are pretty amazing. They have many free services including Starbucks coffee, a movie theater, cafe, hair and nail salon, and kid's area to name a few. Add lifetime oil changes and state inspections and you cannot ask for anything more.
Excellent Sales and Service
Had a wonderful experience at Priority Toyota when I traded in my 2010 4Runner for a new 2014 one. Our salesman, Elmer H., worked diligently to get the color we wanted and with all of the features we wanted too. Tom H. walked me through every new feature on the 2014 and showed me all of the new changes. He even took the time to hook my phone up to the new Entune and made sure I knew how every aspect of the Entune worked before we left the dealership. Rob B. made the finance part of our visit very swift and easy. There was no pressure and everything was explained in detail. This is our 6th Toyota vehicle purchase from Priority and I would never think of going anywhere else. The sales staff has always been welcoming and the car buying process has been a breeze. We will be going back in the next 6 months to look for a car for our teenage son.
** The best professional sales and service team in Hampton Roads!! **
Over the years, I have purchased many vehicles. Without a doubt - Priority Toyota is the best! The sales and service team is number one. I went to every Toyota dealer in the local area (including Hampton) to 'kick' their tires so to speak. Priority wins hands down - no BS, no pressure, no wing nut sales reps, no hawks sitting on hoods of cars waiting to pounce on the 'potential' sale, etc. The best car buying experience in the area. I continue to drive on the various dealer lots to check inventory (never know when I'll find the next car) and the tactics of the others never change. From a service perspective, they are prompt, efficient, and honest with what needs to be done. I have also traded vehicles at this dealership. Their trade-in offers were identical or better than offers I received at CarMax type outlets. The management team makes the difference. They are consistently on the floor - working with their staff and talking with the customers. Priority Toyota at Chesapeake has earned my continued business as long as I live in the Hampton Roads area. To date - I have purchased 3 cars from this dealership and VERY happy with each one. If you're looking for a Toyota - you need to go to Priority Toyota! They continue to do great things ...
Best Place in Hampton Roads to Buy a Toyota
All the staff at Priority are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I have purchased 4 Toyotas from Priority and would not buy a car from anyone else. My most recent purchase was 2012 RAV4 and Prioritys price was the best. I tell all my friends and colleagues to visit Priority.
Too Many Gimicks Bad Price
I wanted a red Toyota Tacoma so I went through edmunds to get some quotes.Well priority came in with the worst price almost 700.00 more than my lowest quote ans over 300.00 more than my next highest quote. They called me and got a few emails not talkiing about a red truck just that they had many tacomas and to drop by and drive one.I only wanted red nothing else.I bought a red one from another dealer in the area they didnt bhave one but got one out of town and no charge for going and getting it.Im still getting emails from them just a form email nothing personal I clicked on the link to take my name off the email list but still getting them. I feel insulted by the price quote they gave me they say they wont be undersold buts thats not true. I tried to buy a truck last year during cash for clunkers but got screwed on that deal also. They offer all these freebies like oil changes and engine for life, you have to get all recomended service there for the lifetime engine in 10 years you have bought another engine just bin service bills. I would Not recomend this dealer overhead is too high, and the price is way out of line. One Star Dealer in my book.
Outstanding Service and Value !
From the first contact with Priority, they acted professionally and treated me with respect. Each person we dealt with was courteous, knowledgeable, and made sure we were happy with each aspect of the purchase. The salesman took the time necessary for all my questions to be answered, then made sure I saw the vehicles that I wanted to see, not what he wanted me to see, like other dealers. The negotiations were smooth, and the counter-offer was very fair. Not once was I treated like an idiot or a gullible buyer. I bought a late-model used car that required some minor cosmetic work; Priority took care of that, free of charge (by an excellent and efficient service team). The entire experience was fantastic--I recommend Priority Toyota to all my friends and colleagues. Everyone at Priority takes pride in their job and practices outstanding customer SERVICE.
great place to buy!
I had a great expreience buying my 2008 sienna le, the salesperson was great. He did a fantastic job listening to me and helping pick the right van for me and my kids.
Won't get my business, here's why
My mother (age 80) and I (age 40) walked into Priority on August 16th at around 5pm to do some leg work for buying a new Corolla. The salesman was fine, answering our questions as best he could, until he went to go get the "manager". It's been a long time since I was treated like an idiot and it didn't feel good. Because my brother was buying the car for my mother he was the only person that this "manager" wanted to deal with - not the two women in front of him who would be making all the decisions. What prompted the calling for a manager was the fact that we asked for their best price on a 2007 Corolla. Silly us, thinking that we would get a quote that we could compare with other businesses in the area. He gave us the numbers only after a prompting from our original salesman, and didn't think we needed to be bothered with the written quote. Tell your brother to call me... Why would my brother buy a car from a dealership that treated his mother like she didn't matter? Sure we weren't signing the check, but I can certainly spell the name of the dealership who wouldn't be getting our business. That's a shame because I had heard good things about Priority and didn't have any reason to think differently until this "manager" showed up. My sympathies to our original salesman, Dean.
