Drive to Save
I drove 200 miles and saved 2,000 dollars. Thanks to Mark Clarke and his determination to make the deal happen.
I gave a 1 Start because this Dealership has No Customer Service at all, from the Service Advisor ( Glen ) to the General Manager. All they care its getting their money.

2015 Nissan XTerra
Took my recently bought 2015 Nissan XTerra in for oil change, state inspection, and emissions test. All completed in less than 2 hours with no appointment! Thanks Ryan! See y'all in 5000 miles.
I had a great time with Ronny Valdez and Miguel, well informed and knowledgeable about the vehicles, they did all the best to ensure high quality and great service. Excellent experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend Passport Nissan VA.
The customer service that Tenzin Thinley and Mike Petros displayed was so great that I would recommend anyone that is looking to purchase a Nissan to go to passport Nissan of Alexandria, VA. They were very nice and knowledgeable. No pressure, but made sure that if you are looking to buy a car, this is the place to buy it because they will work very hard to make sure you get exactly what you want and not what they think you should buy. I cannot say enough about these two young men. If I ever purchase another car, it will be from passport Nissan of Alexandria. The process was great from the time I walked in the door and only got better. Everyone at the dealership was just the best.
Top Notch Sales Manager, JD Pittman!!!
I highly recommend stopping by or calling to make an appointment with Assistant Sales Manager, JD Pittman. There is no hassle and no pressure when working with JD. You discuss your vehicle requirements and JD does the rest to ensure you are completely comfortable and satisfied with your vehicle search. The very first time I met JD at Passport Nissan of Alexandria, I let him know I was only there to test drive a 2017, Red, Nissan Maxima. That is exactly what JD Pittman and I did. I didnt care for the interior color and thanked JD for his time and left. Weeks later I was searching the USAA website for the purchase of a 2017, Grey, Nissan Maxima through TruCar. I was reconnected with JD and he and I found the right color with all the options I required. I wanted a spoiler and my husband wanted a Silver Nissan Maxima Platinum Edition and JD Pittman hung in there with us the entire step of the way. Have purchased over 20+ vehicles in my lifetime and this new car purchase with JD Pittman as my Sales Manager was the best experience I have ever had. I highly recommend JD Pittman to anyone. He has definitely turned out to be a great friend... Thanks JD!!! You are one of a kind!!! (Date of purchase 3/31/17) God Bless, LM Karr
Fast and professional no-haggle process!
Had a completely satisfying purchase experience at Passport Nissan. Traded in two cars, and bought another, and the process was painless well managed, and fast. The team was courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and easy to work with - they understood what I wanted to happen and then they made it happen. A very pleasant surprise!! From first contact, to appraisal and valuation, to sales agreement and finally to finance, every member of the Passport team that I dealt with was at the top of their game. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. A standout organization in the sales department.
My Awesome Nissan Service Visit!
The best Nissan Service experience ever. Looking forward to my next service visit. Thanks Walter..!
Less than 2 years ago, I purchased a Leaf from this dealer. I was so satisfied that I urged my wife to forgo looking elsewhere when her 12-year old car expired. I sought out the same salesman (Forrest Smith) and in just under 4 hours, my wife drove off with a brand new Rogue. It met my wife's explicit needs. There was no haggling or hassle either about the car price or the unnecessary options presented at the final sales stage. The salesman and the finance representative (Mike Petros) couldn't have been friendlier, responsive and accommodating. No one likes the car-buying experience, but Nissan Passport made it as enjoyable as possible--twice.
My Third Car
I love being a part of the family. I have been coming back to Passport Nissan Alexandria every since my first visit in 2011. This is my third car and it has gotten better with each purchase. JD and Said have walked with me since my first car. As long as they are at the dealership, I will always come back no matter where I am. I now have two new family members from this purchase - Eric and Ryan. I LOVE my Passport Family.
Nissan Rogue- Purchased 3/16/17
I had a wonderful experience at Passport Nissan. I worked with salesman Rowell Salvado. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and I didn't feel pressured to purchase the car I was interested in the first day I came in. He and Ryan Poole, the business manager, also helped me get a much better interest rate than what I was approved for by my credit union. I highly recommend working with both of these gentlemen! Thank you for making my car buying experience so much fun.
Commendation for Exemplary Performance!
A HUGE thanks to Vanessa Wick, Ryan Poole and Brett Siock for exemplary performance during the purchase of my 2016 Versa Note. They were consistently professional, patient and kind. I have 2-federally recognized disabilities and they completely accommodated my needs. Ms. Wick was extraordinary in helping me select the car of my dreams and training me to use all of its terrific new technology which I just LOVE. She took the time I needed to thoroughly explain everything. Mr. Poole did a tremendous job of getting me financing, even with my challenging credit rating. He made me comfortable talking about these challenges and never made me embarrassed as other businesses routinely do. Mr. Siock left his busy schedule to talk with me and allow me to talk about my experience with his team. He sets high standards for them and it shows in their outstanding performance. I'll buy every car I need from them in the future and will refer all of my friends and family to them. It was a wonderful experience!
Purchased my certified Altima about two weeks ago. All seems well with the vehicle. so far so good. Sales experience was avg, wasn't offered any oil changed or car washes. And Week after my purchase it rains, so now I see my wipers need replacing, How the hell do you have this 167 point inspection you lay your hat on and I can barely see out my widows on a light rain fall. Have Been calling my salesperson Guy and Oscar Pena the finance guy for a week and no response. I don't even know if they have received my inspection paperwork a quick got response would be sufficient. Like I said very avg
Bad custmor service
we were shopping either to buy or Lease the 2016 Nissan Rogue since last week. I cant not believe to share with you what we went through at one of your Nissan Dealers Location with on of the Sales Manager his name is SABBIR KHAN, Nissan of Alexandria 150 S. Pickett Street Alexandria, VA 22304. On Monday instead of buying we decided to Lease the 2016 Nissan Rogue. After we finish discussing with the sales person his name was Jacquise? After all the paper work and hand shake was done with the agreement of 320/month with a $1500 down and 15K/year. Right before the final session about 8:45 pm Mr. Khan came and told us that we have to raise the down payment to a $2000. He did on purpose to give us a pressure and or may be his poor technique to catch desperate customers after we spent 4 hrs sitting. Since he was unprofessional we left the Dealer around 9:00 pm and told him not to give us a call unless he keeps his dignity. The following day Mr. Khan bombarded us with his phone calls and txt messaging saying that please come and take the deal I have talked to the General Manager and the deal has been approved. After we confirm on his txt messages we went to the store yesterday. When we reach at 6:00 PM we asked the approval paper and the Sales person (Jacquise) who came from his day-off to process showed us the approval paper. He told us sorry for this confusion, I am glad its over. He went and put the Tag and gave the car to be washed. The Car was ready but the paper work doesnt look its ready. Around 8:00 pm we asked whats going again Mr. Khan came up again and said we have to pay the monthly payment $345. We asked him what kind of deal is this after a documented hand shakes? No answer. Not only us but also his colleagues the sales person and the Finance Lady I believe her name is Tracey expressed her sincer what we went through by this unprofessional employee. She even said please give me time let me talk to the General Manager tomorrow and we will deliver the car to your home per the deal. However, Mr. Khan was keeping on cursing us and to the extent of saying, Get out of this Dealer store I dont think we deserve insulting. His behavior is totally unacceptable. We will pursue delivering this message to all public servants within our jurisdictions for the sake of other people not to experience we went through at this dealership if we didnt hear actions from this dealership management. In the mean time we would like to thank those honest employees [Jacquis - Sales and Tracey-Finance] of that dealer who fought for the truth and kept their dignity.
Service was quick, completed with courtesy
I took my vehicle to Passport. We have been dealing with this dealership for years. Richard has been taking care of my vehicles. When I replaced my last Maxima, I went directly to Passport to buy and have vehicle serviced, I was treated with courtesy and friendliness. Richard was polite and answered any questions I had, the service personnel were polite and easy to get along with from picking up and delivering the car from service bay etc. I was very pleased with Richard and will go back to have my vehicle serviced.
I have purchased 7 vehicles from this dealership (6 Infiniti's) and recently 1 Nissan Vogue. My experience with the Infiniti service department has been phenomenal resulting in the return sales. Unfortunately the sales department lacks the same customer sales appreciation and behave in a manner befitting a one and done organization. I would like to point out that the Salesman attempted to overcome the shortcomings of his management but lacks true authority and could only stand by and watch a cash paying customer insulted for questioning the price of a vehicle from the showroom floor as compared to the internet. What made this experience even more embarrassing it played out in front of my family including my grandson who the vehicle was a surprise present for. It stands to reason that I could purchase any vehicle I wanted from any dealership I chose and I chose Passport because of the fantastic care my vehicles had received from the Infiniti service department. My wife and I are currently discussing new vehicles for us in the near future but they will definitely not come from Passport Nissan and may very well not be Nissan products.
Personally, writing a "terrible" survey is the last thing I would want to do because I understand there are bad days but there's nothing worse than making a life changing purchase with an experience that you will remember for the rest of your life being an absolute terror. I am the easiest customer you could possibly work with and to be sitting here writing a "terrible" survey takes many disappointments. From expecting the purchase without displaying the vehicle, lack of excitement, little time to no time invested into a customer making a huge purchase and assuming the vehicle that suites the sales consultants commission best rather than listening to anything that I desired from type color to features or style, nothing I said mattered. Was there for more than 5 hours neglected completely during the initial process & once the purchase was finalized and the paperwork was finished, my sales rep. was nowhere to be found and they got what they wanted so I no longer mattered. I no longer existing during the delivery process. had no idea I could start my vehicle with my keys because i was never told. most things I learned on my own which took hours. I will never purchase a vehicle from this dealership again.
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.
It's just appalling to me that the assistant service manager would lie right to my face about the condition of the parts on my car. I was told by Brian that my rear subframe had a crack in it, and he recommended it be replaced immediately, for $2200. I decided to have it checked out by a second Japanese specialist, who both told and showed me that there was NO crack or any other serious deterioration on the sub frame. Because i'm a young guy with a nice car Brian, and Passport Nissan of Alexandria, obviously saw it fit to try and rip me off completely. If they are okay with practically stealing over $2000 from someone, they simply can not be trusted.
Everyone in the service are friendly and helpful. I have several cars and this is the best service department I have run across. I rarely get my car serviced at the dealer but this is a dealership I trust to service my car for a fair price and that will finish the work when they say they will.
I have titled this the survey because it made my car leasing experience a nightmare. You will be asked to give all 10s on the survey that they email you. My saleman called me on a Sunday to do this and I had no problem gving him 10s, but I didn't care for the environment where the deal was made which is not his fault, but since I gave those answers a lower rating, I was called by my salesman the next day and was informed that I gave him a bad survey and how could I have done that, he tried to help me, and so on. The next day I had to call the sales manager to ask about my tags, he too brought up the bad survey situation and that he tried to help me as well. I am glad that they are into charity work and wanted to help someone like myself, who by the way, deserves everything and anything from working extremely hard, but what was most alarming about the sales managers conduct was that all professionalism was out the door and I found myself trying to explain the whole petty situation to someone who was more like a MC Donald's employee, not a manager at all. Shame on them for retaliating over surveys, if this is what you depend on to make your living, you are in the wrong business.
