After Car Buying in NJ, This Dealership Made Buying a Car Almost Painless

Ashley was my sales person and the scope of her knowledge about Toyotas and competing brands was impressive. The sales experience was low pressure. When Ashley found out we were going to compare her dealer's Toyota Rav 4 to a Mazda cx-5 at a different dealer, she went the extra mile and pulled a CX-5 they had in inventory next to the Rav 4 we were looking at so we could compare them side- by-side. After I made my purchase, Ashley spent additional time going over all the additional features, even helping sync my cell phone to the car.

Salesman provided a prompt response and gave me an on-line quote that beat, by a significant amount, an offer by another dealer. However, when I visited the dealer the Highlander quoted to me was not available at the dealer. The dealer provided 2 alternative that we supposed to be similarly equiped at the same price. They also offer alot more for my potential trade than another Toyota dealer fo a like vehicle. I agreed to purchase one of the vehicles, which had to be transferred from another dealer, but that dealer had add-ons that I did not want. I decided to accept them (at dealer cost) due to the limited availibility of the other options I wanted at the end of the 2012 model year. The dealer provided, what I considered, fair offers on the price of the Highlander "out the door" with or without the door. The purchase experience was better than others I have experienced and there was no pressure on the part of the dealer to buy the added exterior and interior protections or the extended warranties.

I did my research and looked around a lot before going to the dealership. I was open and direct with the sales rep, and let him know what I wanted and where I needed to be. He was very accommodating, super friendly and responsive. I'm very happy with the overall experience, and I ended up with the car I wanted. All of the staff with whom I interacted were friendly and helpful. This dealership is extremely well run, I would recommend it to anyone.

Dealers sales rep contacted me right away. I could not respond as I was out of town. Sales rep left 5 messages on my answering machine. Which I felt that it was a little over kill. Finally called him back and went to see what they had.. I was only looking at that time. I then got three other offers over the internet on a new vehicle and see as how they were local I asked for there best offer before I would approach any of the other dealers. I was taken to an office way in the back and left there while the sales rep went to see his boss about price on a new vehicle. After about ten minutes I got up and left that area to see where he was. I finally went out side and was viewing some of there vehicles when the sales rep returned with there offer. One quick look at it and new they were not in the ball park with the other offers that I had receive from the net. I thanked him for his time and left. I then drove a hundred miles to another Toyota dealer and got a very good deal. This dealers reps could have done a better job on making me an offer.
