Our salesperson was very easy to work with. Kay listened to our needs and took the time to answer our questions. She addressed all of my concerns about buying a used car. It was a comfortable, friendly, low pressure environment, unlike the previous 2 dealerships we'd visited. Paperwork was handled quickly and my new tags arrived in 2 days. Awesome Sauce

I recently had my 201o Subaru Outback in for repairs that were very extensive. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable!! They not only completed my repairs in a timely manner, they also got 99% percent of the repair completed under warranty which saved me thousands of $$!! The Service advisors and the management were top notch and I would strongly recommend them to everyone and anyone.

Bad information and over charging

I accidentally put the wrong key in the ignition when picking up my subaru forester and it wouldn't come out. We wanted to call a locksmith but Mike Moose, service advisor said that due to a special Subaru safety feature, there was "no way that key will ever come out". He said the ignition cylinder would have to be replaced and would cost about $700. I called other professionals who quoted more like $500 to replace the cylinder. I called a locksmith anyway and Jake Bahn did get the key out without any damage to the key or cylinder and he charged $125. So Mike Moose misled me and was going to over charge for an unnecessary service. In addition, while my car was sitting on their lot, we were unable to lock it with the key stuck in the ignition. Mike Moose assured me the car was safe overnight. However that also turned out to be untrue and someone at the dealership stole my. charger out of the console box. Pretty bad customer service - zero stars!

Rude And Apparently Dumb

My car had an engine oil leak which had to be done at Subaru under warranty, much to my disdain as I have never had a good experience with them. Right off the bat, the girl working in service was rude. After finally securing a loaner vehicle for a job that was quoted as 1 - 1/12 days, 11 days later I got my car back. The excuse was the same every single day - the valve was replaced, then the car needed to sit overnight to make sure it wasn't leaking, then test driven. Same. Story. Every. Day. When the car was finally returned to me, it had almost 100 miles extra on it. All this can lead a halfway smart person to believe is they obviously do not know how to fix cars. Scary to say the least. Now I wonder how badly they probably screwed it up, too. Take your car to another dealership if you need any major service repairs. Totally unacceptable. Do yourself a

Poor Experience

From the time we walked into Apple Subaru, the experience was less then desirable. We sat for over 2 hours just to sign the paperwork to take the car home. At home we realized we were missing a rivet holding the front bumper together. We decided to head in to see if they could fix the problem. Since they only had one service technician on a Saturday, she said they would check it out quick for us and just to have a seat in the lobby. Waited over 30 minutes and no one was out to see the car. We left. Apple Subaru will promise Certified service and value, but I would pay an extra few thousand to go to another dealer who is going to give me quality treatment and care. Avoid Apple of York, PA if you are looking for a dealer to "Wow" you and your family with the service you deserve.
