Effiecient & Hassle-free

My experience with Performance Toyota and Cammeron Kline was excellent. The whole process was efficient and hassle-free. There were some setbacks in my search for a new car but it was worth the extra wait and Performance Toyota compensated for it even though the setbacks were out of their direct control. Cammeron was the type of salesman (who I refer to as leeches) I wanted to deal with - extremely professional and down to earth. Highly recommended.

Awesome Experience At Performance Toyota

I had the easiest and enjoyable new car buying experience at Performance Toyota. My salesman was Cammeron Kline and he was professional, accommodating, and generally an all around cool guy There was none of the typical BS encountered at dealerships. Cammeron handled everything from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I drove away with a new Tacoma. There was none of the typical pressure to add on extras or expense to the truck. I told him exactly what I wanted with my budget and that is exactly what was delivered. Again, it was the easiest new car purchase I have ever made. Thanks again to Cammeron Kline and Performance Toyota!

Well if my title doesn't say it then I'll reiterate, Performance Toyota was the only dealership willing to stick their neck out and help me with my trade. After it took a few minutes to get a sales rep due to the time of day I got there, I finally got down to business with what my goal was. Mike was the guy who got the process started. And although I felt he may have been a bit too pushy with what he felt I should go with, ultimately I ended up finding what I was looking for. This is when Fred stepped in and after I explained my situation with my trade-in he offered to buy out my loan and get me a fresh start! How many places will really do that for a customer? Both of these guys were super cool and the atmosphere of this place is very friendly. They offer you water and such. Now onto what I left with, which was a 2015 Rav4; almost didn't happen. By saying that, when I took it for a test drive, everything was fully operational except for the brakes. This is when Fred stepped up again and offered at no charge to me to replace all brakes and rotors on all 4 tires! Again, how many places would really care enough to take care of the customer like that? I don't many! So kudos to these guys and this dealership for going the extra mile and making sure I had a quality vehicle upon leaving the lot. I've already recommended a few their way!

Great Experience

As a first time car buyer, I was not sure what to expect, especially being a female just out of college. I worked with Tom - he was great! I took the car for a test drive, he knew of a good route for me to get a feel of the car and directed me. He was very patient with the process, I took longer than the average person to hammer out the financial and insurance details. The dealership was not pushy at all, allowed me to make my own decision and was very respectful. The facilities were clean and welcoming, and I got a great deal on a great car! I'd definitely purchase from them again.

Worst Buying Experience

I have purchased many automobiles of my 60 years . I must say this was the worst buying experience I ever had !!! We agreed on a price Yes the manager Agreed... a few weeks later the truck came in. The salesperson was half way through explaining the truck, the manager came out and said we have a problem we cant sell you the truck at the price I quoted. we are under water on the truck. That was BS...I was quoted the same price from another dealer. I said you just matched another dealers price and you just telling me now 3 weeks later after you ordered it. After a hour or so ,the manager said I have to call the owner of Performance to let him make the call...... they did sell me at price quoted but all the BS........ He was just trying to get more money from me....I would never buy another car / Truck from Performance Toyota. THEY CANT BE TRUSTED

Great Dealer Experience + Great Vehicle = Happy Customer

I had a 2014 RAV 4 I thoroughly enjoyed that was getting close to end of lease, over miles and I wanted a vehicle with more interior space for cargo, animals and people. It was late on Saturday afternoon when we casually stopped in the dealership and Brandon Laudenslager came out to greet us. He was enthusiastic in wanting to help us and very accommodating in answering our many questions. We have purchased 12 cars from Performance over the last 14 years, 11 Toyotas and 1 Volvo. This most recent experience was easy, pleasant and unpressured. It was nice that Fred Folk and Tony Curtis recognized that we have been long time customers and Fred was very helpful in putting a workable deal together for the new Highlander. Brandon did a great job of going over the many great features on the vehicle during delivery which will make it much more enjoyable and allow me to take full advantage of its capabilities.

Stay Away...Dishonest Dealer Service Department

Purchased 2 vehicles, a new Sienna and a used Camry with 9K miles on it. Went to pick up vehicles when Sienna arrived and they had swapped the tires on my Camry with old tires! Luckily I inspected the car before I drove of the lot. Years later, Toyota issues an extended warranty on the power sliding doors on the Sienna. I take it into "Performance" with a printout of the warranty and tell them the door is not operating properly. They tell me that the part I need is not covered by the warranty and will cost about $750 to fix. I decided not to have it repaired there (remember, they tried to swap my tires on my Camry). A few months later, the door is totally non-functional. Stuck open. Had to have it towed. Turns out the part I actually needed was a cable mechanism that was the EXACT part the warranty covered, but now I'm out of the warranty period! Had the incompetent service tech actually knew what he was doing, I would have had it fixed at no cost. Now, I have to pay $1,200 to have it fixed. The new service manager says "I'm new here. I wasn't the manager when you first brought your van in to be looked at a few months ago." So, after dropping over $50K in 2 vehicles...I get swapped out tires and screwed by a service department with incompetent mechanics and a "manager" that takes zero accountability because "it happened before I got here." Luckily, there are Toyota dealerships in Limerick and Hamburg now for those out there that want to buy a Toyota. Stay away from these [non-permissible content removed]. btw, Toyota corporate failed to do the right thing and honor their extended warranty as well. I know I'll never buy a Toyota again. Ever.

First Time Buyer

This is my 5th New Toyota, i always had purchased from a larger dealer Up North so when i submitted my inquiry about the vehicle i was interested in, i found a prompt response from there internet team as expected. When i entered the dealership this was where things changed, i really wasn't looking for a new vehicle.I was introduced to Julio Rosario who although was new to Toyota was not new to the sales position. He and Fred went out of their way to make sure i received the best deal on a vehicle i only had originally came in to acquire about, now how's that for a sales professional. With the extras i had ordered he answered all my questions and for the questions he could not answer he quickly returned my call with the correct answer. The vehicle had to be returned to install an option i had ordered. Due to the time frame i only had a week to accomplish this,the holidays also did not help but i was assured the job would be completed in the time quoted. The rental department had a vehicle ready to go when i arrived, it was a smooth transaction. After service had completed installing the additional optional equipment i returned to the dealership to pick up my vehicle and inspect the Job. I ran into Julio again, even after the sale he was truly concerned on the things i had ordered and wanted to make sure all went well. Kudos to everyone involved from the sales department to service to parts, it all came together a week after Christmas. I would not only recommend Performance Toyota for your next purchase but i would recommend stopping by and talking to Julio and Fred Folk who put this deal together. I certainly am not the easiest to please but they did a great job. I've learned that any Toyota Dealership can sell you a Toyota what makes the difference are the people, and being 50 minutes instead of 1.5 from my home is only a plus. Thanks Guys.

Best car buying experience I've had...

I was recommended to look at Performance Toyota by another satisfied customer who purchased a Prius in the Fall of 2013. When I started shopping for my new car, I engaged in communications with 5 other Toyota dealerships. Instead of considering dealerships closer to home or work, I chose Performance Toyota. This was directly a result of my communications with a member of the Internet Sales Staff, Dylana W. Her level of attentiveness and professionalism was exemplary and exactly what was needed for me to feel comfortable purchasing a car from Performance Toyota. After arriving, I had the pleasure of meeting Dylana and several members of the Performance Toyota staff; most notably my salesman, Adam J. Adam did an outstanding job throughout all aspects of the sale. I was impressed with Adam's level of knowledge with the Toyota hybrid line, as he walked me around the Prius C to familiarize me with the car inside and out prior to even starting the test drive. I also appreciated Performance Toyota's willingness to work with me throughout the negotiations process. As a new customer, I feel that this process was fair and resulted in the deal I received and accepted - which directly contributed to me being able to leave Performance Toyota in a new car the day I stopped by for a test drive. I was actually in and out of the dealership on a Saturday in about 3 hours. I feel this was remarkable and directly attributable to the level of care and attentiveness of my salesman. While managing his other appointments and test drives, Adam continued to check in with me and ensured the process remained moving - from negotiation to finance to vehicle preparation - up until the point I got in my new Prius C and drove away. Thank you Performance Toyota for such a positive car buying experience.

I received several emails requesting my phone # as well as a request to come into the dealership. I did not get what I was looking for other than the run around. Although they were unable to beat the deal I was given at another dealership, they did try. I must lighten up on my initial negative review. But, as we all know, a little legwork & shopping around can save you $$$.

Fred F. at Performance Toyota restored my trust in car dealerships. I walked in to the dealership and met Fred. I told Fred I like what I have(had) a 2005 Tacoma Double cab with 173,000 miles but I wanted 4 wheel drive and it did not have to be a new vehicle. I like the mpg and did not intend to go to a larger truck due to the high mileage I drive. Fred immediately told me he had a Certified 2010 Tacoma Dbl. Cab 4X4 trade in that would meet (actually exceeded) my expectations). Fred had a trade-in review done and extended a trade-in value to apply to the sale. I went home and researched both my vehicles value and the proposed vehicle and both checked out to be exactly what Fred F. had offered to the dollar! I called Fred F. to say I wanted the vehicle and Fred delivered. Since I had added accessories like hard cover tonneau, running boards, and other aftermoarket additions I told Fred I would be keeping these accessories for transfer to the newer vehicle (all still fit). Fred eagerly accepted my proposal and I happily took delivery of the 2010 Tacoma. Immediately I was impressed with improvements over my 2005 Tacoma. Back up camera, 6 disc changer with 6 speakers, steering wheel radio controls, LED tail lights, etc.. Fred listened to what I wanted and delivered flawlessly. Please do not label Fred F. "a USED CAR SALESMAN". Such a moniker is undeserving for such an upstanding purveyor of motor vehicles. If you need a vehicle please go to Performance Toyota and hopefully you will get Fred F. to gently take you through the acquisition of a new (or used) vehicle.
