onI purchased my jeep renegade at Ron Lewis on 51. They were very personable knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and made me feel very confident purchasing from them. My sales guy Bob was great he knew everything about my renegade and explained everything from beginning to end. Although I was the last one at the dealer late at night everyone was all smiles. I highly recommend them and they will do everything in their power to make sure that you are absolutely satisfied!
Stay away!!! Worst experience ever.

onQuoted and emailed one price and then realized there was a calculation error. This mistake was a $4,000 difference! They write their own leases and should be very familiar with the programs. I asked if there was anything they could do and they said take it or leave it. The sales manager Derek hung up on me, he was also rude and patronizing and even had the nerve to ask if they should get the car ready for delivery. Someone in the background was even shouting go ahead and write a bad review, it won't matter!

Good Car Buying Experience

onI was very pleasantly surprised by the service we received at Ron Lewis. My husband and I went looking for a new SUV and stopped first at Ron Lewis to look at the 2016 Grand Cherokee. It was the only vehicle we test drove. Bob Grimes was our salesman and he is very honest, caring, and doesn't give you your typical "car buying experience". We went on a Friday to test drive and look around and made an appointment to go back on Saturday morning with our trade in and to talk more about leasing. Bob told us to come back around noon, so we could get free lunch, and sure enough shortly after noon the dealership brought in pizza for the staff and customers. It was a nice touch, especially since they even offered it to folks just waiting on their free car wash. The car buying process was simple. The dealership offered us in the ballpark of what we wanted for our trade. Bob walked us through all of the features and benefits of the vehicle, took us on a tour of the shop, showed us where to go for our free car wash/state inspection, introduced us to the office manager, etc. It made you feel like you became a part of something great, not just buying a car. The office manager who completes the paperwork with you is very nice and high energy and everyone seems to like to chat and joke with the customers in a friendly and welcoming manner. We've owned our Jeep for less than a week, so this review is strictly on our car buying experience - but so far, so good on the Jeep. We love it and I hope to continue to have a good experience with not only the vehicle, but also with the dealership.

onI have to say that this experience was one of the most positive that I've ever had at a car dealership. It all started with an internet inquiry. Tyler responded promptly and we tossed some numbers around before I even stepped foot into the dealership. When I brought my trade down they firmed up the numbers and were pretty much spot on. (They actually gave me MORE for my trade when they saw it in person.) They were very efficient when it came to filling out the initial paperwork and they are clearly focused on customer service and value their customers time. When it came time to go into the F&I office, Dawn was a pleasure to work with. I never laughed so much getting a $40,000 loan, warranty, GAP, and other products. She explained what each one does and even found out a way for me to pay for my warranty in increments without having to roll it into my monthly payment. I was beyond satisfied with my purchase experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a new car. It all started with a simple e-mail that was answered in minutes. Great Customer-Focused Experience

onKevin is a super sweet, extremely knowledgeable salesman at Ron Lewis in Pleasant Hills. He is not pushy, and he takes his time to listen to what you want and need to give you all of the viable options to consider. Kevin was very thorough, attentive and extremely patient even though I am sure I was driving him insane. Additionally, Derek, one of the managers, did everything that he could to make me the deal I was looking for without hassel. Derek got me an incredible interest rate which enabled me to get the Jeep that I wanted at a payment that I was comfortable with. And Dawn, the finance manager, was as pleasant, efficient, and knowledgable as could be. They truly worked together as a team and once I finally chose the vehicle I wanted, it was a quick and easy wrap up with a beautiful new Cherokee ready to go. Thanks again Kevin, Derek, and Dawn! I will see you each week to get my Cherokee washed!

onI have been a long time service customer and have always been extremely happy with that side, but it was time for a new Jeep. I met with Patsy and he showed me exactly what I wanted to see. When it was time to get down to the business end it was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. The manager Dave gave me a great price on my old Jeep and an excellent price on my new one. I would recommend going down and seeing Patsy to anyone looking for a new Jeep. It really was a great experience.

onI needed a vehicle asap because my tranny went in mine so my wife and I decided to go out to the jeep dealer on 51 because she bought a jeep from there before, we looked around the lot but I didn't want a big truck and we come across the ford ranger extended cab after taking it for a test drive it was the one for me I want to thank Gregg for all his help he was a class act for a sales man he got everything right where we needed it including the price I would recommend this dealership to any one if you need a vehicle with no hassles or run around. Great job guys and I love my truck.

onRon Lewis South Hills store is very friendly, and knowledgeable of their product. We have purchased 6 vehicles from Patsy. The day of this purchase Patsy was busy with another customer, so first Derek came out to assist us. Derek is not a sales associate. So Derek sent out Jim, he is the Sales Manager. Jim took us on the test drives of two different models of Jeeps. Once completed Patsy was available and we sat down with him, to discuss the purchase, Ron Lewis South Hills dealership worked with us to purchase the 2015 Jeep Patriot with a monthly payment less than we expected. They made sure we got all incentives we qualified for, and gave us more than expected on the trade. We will continue to purchase our family vehicles from Ron Lewis South Hills for many years to come. onI purchased a pre-owned 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan From Pleasant Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge and I was very Happy it and with the positive atmosphere of the Sales Person. He was very Professional, relaxed and not in a hurry with the deal. I had time to think it over. I did not feel intimidated in anyway. I liked the Van and my trade-in was given a very fair price. onUsually, purchasing a vehicle can be difficult. You have expectations of purchasing a vehicle within your budget and not having to haggle with a difficult sales team. My wife and I had our expectations met. Jack was down to Earth and was incredibly knowledgeable about the vehicles on the lot. He was not about driving the sale but working with us to ensure that we were getting a vehicle in our budget. I had a trade-in, we were treated with a fair price for the trade-in. Overall, great experience. No hassles, no haggling, and no b.s.

onI had a great experience at Ron Lewis, especially with the help of Tyler Stay. Tyler went out in negative degree wind chills, cleaned off the vehicle I was looking at, and brought it into the showroom for me to look over in the warmth. He was extremely helpful with all of my questions and was a pleasure to work with. I would strongly recommend asking for Tyler if you go to Ron Lewis.

Not very happy!

onI took my 2009 Dodge Caliber into Ron Lewis Chrysler Dodge to be checked when it was taking longer than normal to warm up inside. Now mind you it has been very cold lately and was in the single digits that day . After the car was ckecked I was told it would need a primary and secondary thermostat replaced at the cost of 700.00 plus. When I commented "that much" I was told it was an extensive job and some engine parts had to be removed to complete the job.Now that part I don't question but I do question having to pay 96.00 + 6.72 tax for a total of 102.72.That tells me they pay their techs upwards of 96.00 an hour because they didn't have it in there more than 15-20 minutes. When I tell him I'll have to decide and come back he hits me with this total! But! Proceeds to say if I bring it back he'll deduct the 102.72. I don;t mind paying a reasonable rate but considering I have used them in the past for inspections, oil changes etc I thought that was excessive for 15 to 20 minutes of diagnostic service.Hmmmm thats not the worst part, now that the outside temps have gone up a little it is working fine. Glad I didn't just say "do it".

Great Sales and Service Experience

onLet me preface this review by stating the fact that I am a real car buff, and am very particular about my vehicles. This is our 1st Jeep vehicle and so far we are very happy with it. Our salesman (Jimi) was very attentive in fulfilling our particular needs and wants. His follow through, after the sale, was impressive as well. I cant say enough about our Service Advisor (Jeff). His attention to detail and customer service skills are extraordinary. He takes the time to explain and discuss the service process. He spent quite a bit of time, providing me with information about accessories that I decided to purchase and have installed. He makes sure that our Jeep is well cared for while it is being serviced. This includes seat and floor covers. One could assume that seat and floor covers would always be used during service, but we have had real problems with this at other dealers. All of the staff, at Ron Lewis, have been great to deal with. This includes Sales, Finance, Service, Parts and everyone else that we have dealt with.

Eight years old and still like new

onThis dealership has performed all service on my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan SE since I purchased it as a new vehicle. (except for a few oil changes that were done when I could not get to the dealership). Every service seems to return the new car feel to this minivan. The most recent service was performed prior to a 7 hour Interstate Highway trip through the mountains of Pennsylvania. The minivan drove wonderfully. This dealership's service department is the reason my 8 year old van still performs like a new van.

ontook my van in with a laundry list of items to be taken care of. everything was taken care of in a timely manner. Ed secured me a ride to work and offered to give me a ride home after work. The next morning he offered to pick me up to get the van so I would not have to wait for a family member to pick it up. I believe the service was exceptional.

onI'm a woman and am used to buying cars myself, so it's not very intimidating for me. I did, however, appreciate the expertise of Jay T, Sales Consultant, and Bill H, Used Car Manager. At no time did I feel under pressure, it was totally my decision, they made it work so I could get my dream car. A major shout out to the finance manager, who also was very helpful and friendly. I am a former customer, and it was very nice to see shuttle service offered, or even rental cars, if needed. I would also like to thank these guys for getting me the owner's manual and not charging me, oh, and another shout out to Ed, who explained how many of the gizmos worked for me :) I would recommend to my friends and family.

Short changed on perks

onI received my service work and was satisfied with the work. Their service promise is that all vehicles will receive a free washing and vaccuming with each service appointment. If you read the review of this dealership on Edmunds.com it states that on the description. I have been there twice for service and my vehicle was not washed or vacuumed and no one asked if I wanted it done.. So, I guess if you don't know to ask, you don't get this free service. I don't considered this being customer friendly.
