I live in Washington state but I need to lease a car for use in PA. Cochran made it as easy as possible. We got the deal done in a few days, First Nick Zannit then Anthony Scott helped me find the car I wanted then over night mailed me the paperwork to sign. I made the down payment with a debit card, sent the paperwork back and Anthony delivered the car to the door. Thanks Anthony

Worst customer service I have ever received

I wish I could give zero stars for the experience I had. I took my vehicle in for a simple repair. In the process of the repair, they damaged my vehicle. I told them they needed to fix the part that they damaged. They eventually replaced the damaged part and in the process got grease all over both of the front seats of my vehicle. The service manager refused to return my calls or emails (and was extremely rude every time I had to deal with him). It took over a month of constant phone calls and emails to get someone to even respond. I had to get Kia customer service involved. Twice. When I brought the vehicle back to have the seats cleaned, they told me the people that handle that were gone for the day, so one of the techs did a hasty shampoo job and just spread the grease around. What should have been a simple repair turned into a month and a half ordeal. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly by a company. The kicker is, one of the service techs took my personal cell phone number off my customer information and texted me from his personal cell phone to hit on me. Disgusting and beyond unprofessional. I will never give this company my business again.

Perfect Experience

I just purchased my first new car in quite some time. Wanting to look at the 2015 Kia Optima I stopped by Cochran Kia of Robinson. I was greeted promptly by salesman Mark Taylor. Thinking to myself that; "Here we go, another pushy salesman" I was put off when I wasn't given the hard sell treatment from tears gone by. I was afforded the opportunity to leisurely stroll the lot without having someone over my shoulder pressuring me. After I browsed and listed my questions then Mark was ready and available to help. His knowledge, expedience and none pressure made my car buying experience the best I've ever had. Of course all car salesmen know the paperwork aspect of the sale so I judge on not only that but mainly on how I'm treated and "none" treated. In that respect I give Cochran and Marc aces across the board. The sale went perfect with no hassles what so ever. Dealer prep was perfect and timely, paperwork was efficient and precise, overall I couldn't ask for a more relaxed and enjoyable experience executing a major purchase..

Transmission Replacement

My experience with this dealership and it's service department far exceeded my expectations. Work was done quickly and thoroughly and I was kept in the loop during the process of my repair and the job was completed as promised. I can not recommend this service department enough. Bill K was excellent to work with, his communication skills and technical knowledge was very impressive, again I can not give enough praise for this gentlemen. My faith in purchasing a new vehicle has been renewed, I would not hesitate to recommend # 1 Cochran Kia to any person. The only regret I have is I didn't purchase my new 2014 Kia Soul at Cochran Kia. Even though they are a longer drive than where I purchased my vehicle I will continue to get my vehicle serviced there and plan on buying my next car at #1 Cochran Kia. His service was excellent, the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly and answered all our questions. We test drove two vehicles in the conditions that were important to me. At the end of the day we drove home our new Sorento.

I had my car inspected and serviced at the #1 Cochran at Robinson, and they are fantastic! I live in the Ellwood City area, but drove to Robinson , because I knew they were the best! They are friendly, and don't try making a quick buck on services not needed. They are very honest, I thought I might have needed brakes, and they inspected the car, then looked at the brakes and let me know the brakes did not need changing. Most other auto shops would have just said ok change the brakes and charge the customer several hundreds of dollars. But they are so great at #1 Cochran in Robinson, they show true appreciation for the customer. Definitely would go there again.

#1 Cochran is the best! I hate car shopping, however, this is the first time I left a dealership without a headache and a wresting match with the F&I dept trying to sell you things you don't want. I can't thank the staff enough, especially Ron my sales consultant for the easy, headache free transaction. I love my car and the experience was the best I have ever had.

I went yesterday, 1/20/2014, to look at a used 2012 Kia Optima that I had seen on the website. When I arrived, I found out that the car had sold literally an hour before I got there! However, my salesman, Mark, was very welcoming and immediately asked if there was anything else I might be interested in. I gave him my parameters for down payment and monthly payment, and he went to work figuring out options for leasing and buying. When the results came back, I let him know that it was still too high for me. We went on a couple of test drives of both new and used cars that were available, and after I settled on the Optima, he and his manager were able to come up with an EXCELLENT deal! Mark spent literally all day (close to 6 or 7 hours...) working with me and making sure my experience was nothing less than wonderful. I am a first time car buying and the process was stressful, but Mark and his manager were helpful and courteous, explaining anything that didn't make sense and answering all of my questions, in addition to getting me a wonderful car at a wonderful cost. I ended up leasing a 2014 Optima well within my budget. I definitely recommend this dealership and the experienced and friendly staff who work there.

I had already done the searching for the vehicle on the internet and done the research on it before I came into the dealership. For almost a month and a half, I halve been dealing with concussion issues, insurance playing games with the payoff of my totaled vehicle and searching for a replacement vehicle, due to someone hitting into my car. My wife and I were nearly at wits end when we came in to test drive the 2005 Mercury Grande Marquis at Cochran Kia Robinson. The salesman and manager were very nice and courteous. After the test drive, we really liked the vehicle, very clean, low mileage and well maintained and found no problems. We loved the 3 day - 150 mile return policy and the 6 month 6000 mile warranty, which means a lot when buying a used vehicle. After the purchase, there was an issue when I tried starting the car to leave the parking lot. One key would not start the vehicle and one would, then we found out there were issues with the after market remote starter that was installed on the car from previous owner, but I was not informed was on it. It only looked like door lock and trunk release remote. (one remote would not lock or unlock or release trunk latch, but when (*) panic button was pressed started the car, the other remote would not lock or unlock, but the trunk latch release did work, but started car also) We probably looked like we were freaking out, after all of this and the electrical system had problems. We were to the point of telling them to just give us our check back and keep the vehicle. The salesman and manager said they would have the issues taken care of and either would deliver the car to us or we could come back when it was done and pick it up. Later that day they called and told us they had the key reprogrammed and they had the after market starter removed from the car. Although it would have been nice to have a remote starter, we didn't know it was on it when we decided to purchase anyway and it took care of the crazy issue with the electrical system. We picked the car up the next morning and the salesman and manager even had the service department double check the battery by doing a load test that morning. They also agreed to start the 3 day - 150 mile return policy on that morning, with that odometer reading, even dated and signed the paper with reading. We now own a car that we feel we can enjoy and be safe in. We were happy with the overall experience and how they handled the issues when they arose. We will probably be looking to buy a brand new vehicle also the first of the year and we will definitely be checking out #1 Cochran for those needs also.

Shortly after we began the process, Tom established a level of trust with us and helped with any question we had for him. We appreciated his straightforward approach and professionalism throughout our entire interaction. Our intention was to get some additional information and pricing, but due to the incentives and transparency in each step of the process we drove off the lot in a new Sportage. We were more than satisfied with our experience with Tom and wouldn't hesitate to refer others toward him for future sales.

Steer clear and keep moving

So very nice and swarmy when you are looking to buy. Once you purchase the vehicle the sharkfest begins. They forget who you are - unless they think they can make more money off you by not covering a 'covered' repair. The salesmen are genuinely two faced and act like they dont remember you when you bring your car back for repairs. Dont spend your hard earned money on these smart phone loviing [non-permissible content removed].

Mike was very helpfull in searching for the exact vehicle we wanted (color, options, etc), and did an excellent job of explaining the various systems in our new car. He even hooked up our phones to bluetooth and our garage door opener. Jason was efficient at doing the paperwork and explained but did not apply excessive sales pressure to purchase add-ons.

I had service evaluate a rattling noise in the back of the car, which was determined to be an issue with the struts. I also had a mechanic help me sync my cell phone to the car. He was extremely patient and helpful . . . my phone is successful paired to the car now.

Be Cautious

I went to the dealership on a Wednesday afternoon.....Looked at new cars and used ones. On returning from a test drive I spotted a 2007 Kia Optima (which I eventually bought). Once I expressed interest in the vehicle, several salespeople were introduced to me including the General Manager. I thought that is really nice of them!!! Even introduced to the Lot Boy. Boy was I in for a rude awakening in the coming days. Went back on Friday to leave a deposit as I had to check with cosigned about it all. They made a big deal about leaving a deposit and "holding" the car, acted like it was a standard practice anymore. Oh yeah, when I went back on Friday that original salesperson had been fired. Didn't surprise me, he wasn't that knowledgeable about the car, more specific the warranty. So anyways I go back Monday to make sure everything is in place, that all docs are ready to go as my cosigner didn't have time to waste sitting around a car dealership, neither did I. We arrive Tuesday, with everything supposedly ready to sign, and nothing was ready. The loan was approved. But no other docs were ready, and they had the wrong tax rate on my purchase papers. So they had to re-print several docs. The car was still on the lot available for sale until 15 mins before we actually left, at which time they washed it and made it look all shiny. I can write on and on and on but suffice it to say the car is great! I will never buy a vehicle from any of Cochran's dealerships ever again. They were all "buddy-buddy" but then once they knew they had a sale they metamorphisized in to the "typical" slimy car salesmen that we are all too familiar with. I had an issue with the windshile being chipped in several locations they I didn't notice when I test drove it. It took 4 phone calls, 3 emails, and a letter to the owner of the dealership to get it fixed. The head service dept guy said they were having logistical problems in getting all the paperwork in place for the repair, what a load of crap, but I went along with it....just wanted the windshield fixed as promised. They quoted me the wrong interest on my loan, week after purchase got a adjustment letter in the mail from GMAC and the rate went DOWN a whole percent. I was happy with that.
