O'Reilly Rocks!!

byjerrypeon 03/11/2018

First of all I hate buying cars, I find it very stressful, and draining. I decided to purchase a new GMC Terrain, and wanted to drive one. I made an appointment, and went to O'Reilly where I was greeted by Mark Robinson, and Jay Meaney, after I told them what I was looking for, I was turned over to Jay, he put me in a Terrain and we went for a ride. I thought I was taking a ride with an old friend. He went over the operation of the car with me, and after going back to the dealership, we worked out a deal. There was no pressure at all. I traded my old car, and I bought the Terrain. I also have to say that the paperwork with Stuart Krechmer was a breeze, with no surprises, and no pressure. It was a great experience. A great group of people, and a great place to do business. they deserve better than 5 stars. O'Reilly Rocks!!!

BUYER BEWARE!!

byKevin_Don 10/31/2017

Found one of their vehicles through cars.com and called on it. negotiated a price, secured financing through the dealership and left a $500 deposit. They sold the car to someone else 3 days later. What kind of BS is this? Buyer Beware!!

Great Experience!

byJCFriebon 08/22/2017

I told my Salesperson Steve W. exactly what I wanted, he said they had the exact vehicle in stock and invited me to come test drive it. Offered financing, extended warranty, and tire & wheel coverage. Time in the finance office with Stuart was minimal and everything was presented as expected without any surprises. Such a great experience I referred my mother!

Horrible

bykbwillnotstopon 07/14/2017

I leased a 2017 Acadia from them. The business manager, Stuart Krechmer, messed up the registration paperwork and did not include the credit for my lease turn-in at a cost to me of almost $900. When I spoke to Stuart he actually yelled at me so I asked to speak to the General Mgr, Ken Kovach. Several days passed and I heard nothing from Ken so I sent him an email asking to be called. Still no call from him so I texted my salesperson, Dave Crawford, and asked him to have the owner Bryan O'Reilly call me. Dave's initial response was "Bryan is not getting involved". When I replied back "Is that what Bryan said?" he changed his tune and said Bryan would call me that Friday. Guess what, Bryan never called me. I finally reached out to Bryan myself and got a call back. He told me that he "had to back his managers on this one" and asked how was Stuart supposed to know about the credit. I said the same way he knew to charge the sales tax, it's on the State's website. That went over his head and he proceeded to tell me it was my responsibility even though the State's website says that "the dealership normally processes" this. Bottom line is the business manager is incompetent, the General Manager is a liar (he told Bryan that he had called me) and the owner will not take responsibility when his staff makes a mistake. In the future I will probably take my business to Granite Run Buick/GMC, they have won awards for their customer service, I now know why O'Reilly has not.

Great Dealership

byDarkcityon 04/19/2017

I have purchased three trucks from the same salesman to the point that he knows my personal taste. He gives me a fair price and offers very competitive financing

No service after sale

Have been trying to get management to address a problem but can't get anyone to call me. When I call, management "is with a customer and will call me back." Go elsewhere.

Best Ever

byStephenW28on 06/22/2016

This was the best possible experience that I have ever had. Bruce was the perfect sales person to deal with me and my spouse. He never once asked what price point we wanted to be at but instead he worked the deal and made sure that it was a good deal for us. He made everything seamless including the trade in process. Our vehicle was looked over while we were on our test drive not while we were sitting there wasting time. I will be buying cars from O'Reilly as long as Bruce is there.

Disappointed -

byHospitalityon 01/05/2014

My service appointment was scheduled (via) the dealership website - I was the first customer to arrive in the service department (8:00am) for my Basic (50,000 mile) maintenance service - A short time later, I was informed by the service advisor, that I would need additional service (for my recently purchased, pre-certified vehicle), a new battery & battery cable - I was also informed that the completion of the services would take all day - When I asked the service advisor about any restaurants, within walking distance, I was told that "they aren't any, but I could catch the bus out front" - when I inquired about the bus fare rates, he informed me, "that he had no idea" - I was surprised by the (service advisors) less then accommodating response - On a prior visit to this service department dealership, it was a more customer friendly environment - As I waited the 5+ hours (in the waiting area), the mechanic that was servicing my vehicle, did come out to give me a update, and apologize for the delay - (I thanked him) I think that I will be looking for a more "customer friendly" facility for my future vehicle service needs.

New Car Purchase GMC Acadia

bymfreedon 07/06/2013

What a pleasure to deal with a dealer that treats there customers with respect. No haggling just simple bottom line pricing. I personally dealt with Mr. Steve B, a very nice, and knowledgeable sales consultant. I shopped Edmunds.com, and decided to buy here. Best price, best service, and GREAT people.

Regal purchase

byoverbrookon 08/13/2010

Salesman was nice but on day of the delivery the finance manager was working with another customer at the agreed upon time for my appointment. I ended up waiting 45min or more to actually start doing the paperwork when I was told previously that the entire delivery process would take about 30min. The showroom was very hot and no one mentioned it or apologized for the problem. There is no cold water or other beverage available for customers while the wait. This is inexcusable- even Saturn had a small fridge in the showroom with complimentary soda and water. The pace of the delivery and amenities were sorely lacking and frustrating.

Nicest People I've Ever Dealt With

byluvable1967on 05/24/2008

I did my homework online and had gotten a number of quotes on a new Acadia. Most dealships did not respond to my qoute request but of the three that did I found O'Reilly to be the lowest. So I contacted them and spoke to the Internet sales person, John and he did a really good job finding me exactly what I wanted. I decided to bring my car in for appraisal and was pleasantly suprised that the salesman took so much time showing me the Acadia. Even though I had done some window shopping prior to requesting quotes, John was the first salesman that treated me with enough respect to actually open the hood and show me the engine. The sales guys at other dealerships all treated me like a dumb broad and one was ignorant enough to suggest I come back later with my husband to take the car out for a test drive. As if I was not smart enough to do that on my own!!!! My experience at O'Reilly however was completely different. The sales process was quick, simple, and easy and the finance process was painless as well. It only took John one day to get my Acadia in and everything was ready for me when I arrived at the dealership to pick it up. Stewart the finance guy had me in and out of the ofice in ten minutes and John spent nearly an hour showing me my new Acadia. This was in addition to the time he had already spent with me the first time I came to the dealership! I have not had to take it in for service yet, but I did receive a follow-up phone call from John asking me if everything was okay and thanking me for my business. I don't know what happened with "phillybill" but I am recommending O'Reilly to everyone I know.

Buyer Beware

byphillybillon 04/29/2008

I leased a 2008 GMC Acadia on 02/28/08. We made the deal several days earlier on an Acadia SLT1 with the options I wanted and the price I wanted in Carbon Black. Before I took delivery I asked the salesman John McLaughlin to see if he could locate one with the same option in Red Jewel and if not get the Carbon Black. 2 days later I contacted them and they told me that the could not find one in red with the exact same features and the Black one was no longer available. They found me a replacement that was more expensive so naturally my payment went up. I took delivery on the replacement on 02/28/08 and it has had nothing but problems ever since. It has been in the shop for 3 days for a check engine light that they said was nothing but a glitch. My other problem has been extremely poor gas mileage 7.2 MPG city. They said they tested that and got 16.6. Their test was no conducted in my presence and I suspect that they put highway miles on it to up the MPG reading on the DIC. Not having any luck with the service dept I turned to the salesman because after all he did sell me a 40,000 car and I had assumed that he would care that it was not running right or that I was not satisfied. I could not have been more wrong. He snapped at me and said, what do you want me to do about it. He told me I need to speak to a manager even though his title is internet sales manager, he said he could not help me. I asked to be transferred to a manager and he told me to hang up and call back. I said i would prefer if he transferred me and he began yelling at me again and hung up on me. I called the manager and told him then I called sales man back to tell him how rude it was to hand up on me and he began yelling at me in a threatening manner and finished by shouting an VERY obscene profanity before hanging up again. I am trying to work with the manager to get this matter resolved but I feel that I should warn prospective buyers that this internet sales manager John McLaughlin is a time bomb who seems unstable and clearly cares nothing about post sale satisfaction. Avoid Mr McLaughlin at all costs. If you choose to go to this dealer I would reccomend another salesperson. The managers have been nice so far through this problem but I am still shocked at how I was treated by Mr Mclaughlin and the fact that he is still employed there after such behavior.

You got a real nice car mister it just does not get good gas mileage

byphillybillon 04/29/2008

Took the brand new Acadia in because it is only getting 7.2 MPG city. There was a check engine light issue related to cam shaft as well. The dealer had it for 2 days before I called and said, whats the deal with my car. They said the light went out on its own and its running fine so its ok. The check engine light (second time it came on) was just a glitch. At that point car had 600 miles on it. I said what about the mileage problem and he said "oh, we didn;t test that". They kept the car a 3rd day and told me that the MPG is also fine, that they did a road test and got 16.6 city. Yeah so how am I getting only 7.2 with soft foot and all coasting. When I got the car back after they had it for 3 days and did nothing, I checked the DIC and it showed the 16.6 MPG but it also showed the average speed as 36 MPH, telling me that for their "city test" they took it on the highway. The sercie guy tells me as i picking my car up, "mister you got a real nice car but it just does not get good gas mileage. wish I could afford one" guess what getting less then 100 miles on a $90 tank of gas, I can't afford it buddy. Give me my car back I am going to another dealer. Tried calling the sales person who was so concerned about my problems at first and he told me to [violative content deleted]. Nice dealership.
